I love solitaire games and bought this when it first came out without my usual waiting to see other ratings and have to agree with other reviewers. The cards no matter what design you choose are hard to read and have to play several levels over and over until you win. Plus in the garden section I have 47 stars, one garden item only needs 25 to purchase and no matter how many times I click on it it won't work - just flips me into the next level.
This would have been a good game but the above ruined it.
I purchased this after buying The Enthralling Realms the Alchemist's Tale - loved that game so grabbed this one and not disappointed! It's very similar to above with board layout and challenges but this time having to rebuild a village destroyed by of course an evil whatsis! Some match 3 screens have me tearing my hair out but otherwise having a great time playing this.
A definite improvement on the latest offerings with ugly faces, hideous creatures and as other fishies say doom and gloom!
Have all the Laruaville games - last one had me tearing my hair out and I play expert usually (do casual first time I buy a game to get the feel of it). This one seems much easier and not as much of a challenge - ghosts of course are back but no accumulation of coins to buy things, solitaire games are very easy and "fire challenge" less of a hassle than usual.
Not sure whether I want to recommend this but if you want a game that's pretty much a no brainer and no horrid faces and ugly monsters give it a try.
Normally don't buy M3 since that's not my kind of game but saw positive reviews so took the plunge. It's rather pleasant to play, music is enjoyable and not intrusive to the game (like some is) and has a bit of a challenge now and then but not much. Idea is for "heroine" to make enough potions to revive her sister she "killed" by mistake. Takes awhile to accumulate power-ups but problem is you use one and they all time out until you accumulate enough matches to get them fired up again.
You also accumulate money but have no idea why since you can't seem to purchase anything - at least so far.
So if you want a relaxing game and a relief from the constant offerings of doom, gloom, hideous faces and creepy creatures these days go for it.
I purchased the previous Snow White solitaire and loved it - this one leaves me cold. Wish I had paid more attention to the thumbs down reviews and have to agree. They don't give you enough cards to clear the board and even with 2 or 3 left over you don't get any stars unlike other solitaire games. And like the previous Snow White it takes a gigantic amount of money to buy any useful power-ups and since you can't get stars on a level it's a slow process.
A mysterious plague casts a dark shadow on the people of Persia. The young apothecary Tara must discover the cause of the illness before it's too late!
After the rave reviews thot this game would be different than the usual hidden objects but still nothing any different - find the key, go back, find the scroll, go back - just like other games of this ilk which I usually avoid buying as I got sucked in more than once.
Loved the 5 star Rio game so grabbed this. Sorry I did. What happened to the solitaire games for extra money? Where's the power-ups like the hammer, cupcake and bow and arrow? Some bombs, lightening bolts and a rocket which come up after so many groupings. Not meaning to look a gift horse in the mouth but want like last time - power-ups dropped to the bottom of the board and you could accumulate them for future use. Just a buncha mindless clicking and no enthusiasm on the buildings offered for purchase.
I love these Zombie Solitaire games and bought this one immediately. Granted it's same old, same old solitaire but who cares - the levels to me are easy and like the music - as one Fishie said sounds Egyptian which is a nice change. It's a great game when you want a change from doom, gloom, ugly faces and hideous monsters.
Only con: I HATE those clear the candy levels; drive me nuts.
I love HOGs and bought this after reading the early reviews. It's a fairly decent game but can't find all the road signs to save my life and some of the hidden objects are so small I practically went blind. OK game if you just want to murp along and play a leisurely game. One advantage is the longer it takes to find the objects the timer increases; otherwise just one HOG after another - you don't build anything which makes it a tad boring.
I love these park rangers adventures and buy them without even playing the demo. Granted these follow the same format as the others - hidden objects and mini games (something I'm not enthusiastic about) but love the scenery and the game overall. Hope they keep them coming.
