I really enjoyed playing this game. The story line was intriguing and the 'video' action throughout made it come to life more. There weren't too many HOGs - which I prefer since it seems that too many can make a game a bit tedious. The graphics are great and the voice overs and interaction with various characters enhanced play. It took enough time so feels like a good value. The mini-games were enough of a challenge but not impossible. Overall, I'd highly recommend this game!

Fierce Tales: The Dog's Heart Strategy Guide
Get tips and hints from our handy Strategy Guide! Follow our crystal clear instructions and helpful tricks to succeed!
This is a fun story - although dark, like most of the HOGs, in this you have a cute dog to help you and provide some guidance as you work to solve the puzzles. The story thread is carried through nicely; there are a lot of scenes and the HOGs are interactive, as more are now, but this makes it fun. The mini-games are quite challenging. Luckily, there is a map so that you can move more quickly between locations. All in all - I'd highly recommend this game!

Avalon Legends Solitaire
Harness the power of the Deck of Nature to weave your spells and save the magical realm of Avalon in this fun Card game!
Since I was 'wowed' by the Chronicles of Emerland solitaire and based on the reviews of others for this Avalon Legends game, I was really looking forward to playing this. But, perhaps I was spoiled by Chronicles, but this game is simply boring to play.
Although you're awarded points to spend on upgrades in the shop, there are only a few upgrades in the very low 'cost' category (1,500 - 3,500 points) and then the prices jump to 65,000+ points for most of the upgrades. This wouldn't be too bad, except that the points are very slow to accumulate. I was 4-5 hours into the game before I accumulated enough to buy just one additional of the higher priced upgrades. Another frustration is the inability to re-play a section that didn't go well, or to replay a level to try to get a better score. Each level has a 'challenge', which at first is quite easy to achieve and move along, but now I've played one level 4 times (and at 10 games per time, it's getting quite tedious and frustrating) and seem to never get dealt the hand that allows for a combo/string of 18 cards in a row. Frankly, I just don't care anymore and have lost interest.
The storyline is boring - there is no voice over - and the visuals are not very interesting.
I really can't recommend this when there are other solitaire games out there (Chronicles and Fairway Golf) that are far more addictive and fun to play.
I don't recommend this game.

The Chronicles of Emerland Solitaire
Defeat the forces of darkness and defend Emerland by uniting the races of the world against the evil sorcerer, Sat, in this magical card game!
After spending waay too much time on Fairway Golf since I find these 'tri-peaks' solitaire games addictive, I was delighted to come across this game. It has a similar format to Fairway Golf, but a different storyline and graphics, so it's something new. The music is very pleasant, and the power-ups and 'mini-games' between levels are enjoyable and add something to the overall game. Thanks - great job!

Christmas Stories: Nutcracker Collector's Edition
A classic Christmas tale tail, with a whole new twist! Help the Nutcracker rescue the princess from the evil Rat King!
This is one of the best games - especially for the holiday season! The Nutcracker music provides a delightful background to the story. And the story is fun to follow - all of the characters from the animated candle to the toy nutcracker and the cat and their 'magic' powers are very engaging. The videos and graphics are amazing - highly recommended. Evidently some players had trouble with the game freezing, etc., but I didn't experience that. Just had one small 'freeze' in the bonus game - which is also great - but exiting the game and re-opening it quickly solved the problem. Highly Recommended!! Such fun!

The graphics, video story and overall story line on this are engaging, and the scenes are fairly complex which keeps it fun. The map is very helpful and saves time retracing steps to complete each part of the challenge. But, the best part is the clever use of animated tools that act as 'power-ups' to help out - that's really creating outside of the box. Overall an excellent game!

Eternal Journey: New Atlantis Collector's Edition
Travel from the deepest trenches of the Atlantic Ocean to the awe-inspiring wonders of Mars as you solve the greatest archeological puzzle known to man: the origin of Atlantis.
This was very clever, involved and the graphics and video portions of the story were exceptionally well done. The mini-games were challenging, but do-able, and the HOGs were very creative. The map feature came in especially handy since there were so many different scenes to navigate back and forth to and I got 'lost' trying to remember where certain items belonged. Overall, I'd highly recommend this game. Only question-mark I have is that I know I missed picking up some of the 'fact/data' tablets that the game kept track of, and am not sure what might have happened if I had found them all. Perhaps they 'opened' a bonus game? I guess I'll never find out... Still - an amazing game with a great story! Kudos to the developers!

This was an extremely well-done game - kudos! The video story is engaging, and the different scenes are extensive. The mini-games are challenging and clever, but not impossible. The hidden object games are unusual in that most require something from your tool inventory that was picked up elsewhere in order to complete, giving the game another level of challenge. Very interactive, and fun - great game. I only wish that there was some way to see what other games these producers have developed since I'd like to see more games from this group.

Dark Dimensions: City of Fog
Search for a town consumed by fog! Unlock forbidden doors and uncover mysterious items!
This was an interesting hidden object game. The mini-games were very challenging, and there were a few times I had to refer to the walk-through to solve a perplexing dilemma. All in all, a very good game - great graphics. Also really liked the clever hidden-object games - figuring out how to uncover certain objects is more interesting than just finding the items on a list. Well done!
