Lost in the city is the most enjoyable game I've played for a long time. I'm an old game-player with apr 500 games behind me, and at long last here's a game, unique, different, lovely puzzles, and a diary keeps one on track throughout the entire game - one must carry on to find out what it's all about - thrilling it is. Not too easy, not too difficult. Very good soundtrack. Maybe kind of dark, and somewhat "Russian" atmosphere. Not for children, which I think is great. We could do with more games for adult players. I absolutely recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

Fine artwork, clever computer animation, impressed with the production team's effort of inventing new ways of "blessing" the same old game templet - but - what remains in memory of the game is a muddled complicated story about a pirate captain and endlessly searching for "keys" to find keys to find keys to find . .
= bored to tears almost / but if you are a game playing beginner you might find it wonderful . .
I recommend this game!

. . I would’ve loved this game ( I imagine ), but since that’s not the case, here’s what I old pensioner think: fine artwork, lots of spectacular locations, sound track and music fitting the action, varying types of HOS’, good puzzles, but especiallly those, of which there’s one for each chapter of the game, are great fun; full of humor and imagination. Pretty difficult and challenging though. But the story and the characters of it, and the written/spoken dialogues which can’t be skipped, were for me a drag - never “connected” or stirred my interest. So I don’t know wether to recommend this game or not. The story is too complicated and the voice over not “real” - gung ho stuff which doesn’t appeal to me.
I recommend this game!

Don’t miss this one, if you like mecanics, great art work and music. A tale about artificial life / robot which by mistake has a mind of it’s own. A game with a pattern of HOS’ popping up in form of “fans” with items to find to get the one you need, of access punch cards to be found for next scene. And to disable the robot and put all right in the end, you have cinematics, logbook, hint, conversations, minigames and puzzles, all with a twist of humor. Brillant !
I recommend this game!

In this very good tale you’re on a quest in the Devil’s (Bermuda) Triangle and a very exciting one too. The wonderful ultra detailed artwork is sprawling with humor if you really care to look, which you also have to in the HOS’ in order to find the bits you need to carry on your search for the bad guy who’s after total power on this island where an old nutty scientist has managed to provide the inhabitants with eternal life but also eternal confinement on the island.
Sound and music supports the tension of the story, and the puzzles are challenging and fun. It is not the easiest of games ( like others of the older games ) but absolutely worth the efford, and to help you, you have hint, cinematics, and written conversations to keep you on track. And, you have a journal, which leads you on as well as informs you of the full story behind this one, as this game is one of a sequel of several Hidden Expedition games i.e. Titanic, Amazon, Everest & Devil’s Triangle - ( which I find hasn’t been updated YET ).
The bonus game rounds the story up beautifully. I strongly recommend this wonderful game and do hope the others will be updated too.
I recommend this game!

This game has it all:
Story : detective, but hasn’t got much to do with the title “Lord of the mind” ; it disappers in the multitude of finding keys and figures fitting into all sort of slots in another multitude of great scenes : Artwork fine
Sound n’ music pleasant, backing the scenes, but the same theme throughout the game -
HOS’ ok, very many of them, and dark, very difficult to find some of the bits and hint very slow in expert mode, which can’t be changed during the game.
Puzzles, lots of them ; the fun ones a bit too easy, and lots of the ones which takes ages to get a pattern right; I quit some of them half way . .
Additionally one has a journal, a note board, and a strategy guide.
All very well done - so why did it take me a week of many “sittings” to chew through this game ? . . it became a chore most of the time, but having bought it, I wanter to play it. It never grabbed me, I found it boring and felt: what a shame, with so much work and efford put into it . . glad so many others enjoyed it.
I don't recommend this game.

The STORY of this game is as good as any, not particularly captivating.
HOS’ are traditional with a couple of extra hidden bits.
VOICE-OVER: pirate rough stuff mostly
ARTWORK: very clean, calm, a bit dark, but free of heaps of paraphernalia, beautiful !
MUSIC: pleasant, unobtrusive / Sounds fit the scenes
PUZZLES: plentiful and varied, some easy, some pretty challenging and fun
Alltogether, It’s a very well balanced game which keeps you on track all along . .
For GUIDANCE: there’s “hint”, a parrot, a map and a note book AND collectables with a purpose.
When I started this game I thought that this isn’t anything special, but, as I wrote in the title, it really grows on one ! I enjoyed this game very much, in fact.
I recommend this game!

It’s a mystery many have tried to solve. Mingled with HOS’, minigames and puzzles this game, created round the real life of Amelia Earhart, also has film cuttings from this world famous aviators life. The game was first released in 2010, and of a quite different structure to the games of today. It’s interesting, and challenging: one has to find artifacts, go to flight school, visit many places round the world which Amelia passed through before she disappeared off the face of the earth. At the end of the game you have to compare all you’ve found out, and choose which of the theories of her disappearence you think is the right one. A log book keeps you abreast with all your findings.
A minor problem: You have to have good eyesight ( or a good magnifying glass ) to find what you search for in the hidden object scenes - then again, the artwork is so precise that once you spot the right object you’re never in doubt what it is. The flight school is real fun, as well as the puzzles. I love the “old” games, and the fact that this one is a real story makes it so much more valid.
( system OS 10.5. but it worked fine in my OS 10.8.5 )
I recommend this game!

that is . . if you don’t mind everything NOT being served on a silver platter easy piecy for you ! No hint, no map, no notebook, no presentation of charactors - just stunning eery artwork as well as fun emaginative mechanical puppetry. I loved to get back to this “old” game, where you have to “work” yourself to figure out where to go, what to do and this way have the opportunity of enjoying the art work again and again. No closed chaptors behind you - all scenes come back in use, so to speak, more than once. Old fashioned HOS’ too, generally just find stuff, and you’ve got to really look for it. Hint’s available for HOS’ only. That way of constructing a story makes it “hang together” - you don’t forget what it’s all about. The puzzles too are fun and quite challenging. I’m really pleased BFG has upgrated this game even though it quotes in the presentation that it requiers OS: 10.4. - but it can be played like in the case of my Mac: OS 10.8.5 no problem. Don’t miss it - it’s lovely and the sound trach n’ music too, if a bit repetitive at times.
I recommend this game!
