I love Roads of Rome, Portals and Romans vs Britons. I was very happy to see this game released. It hasn't disappointed. Its fun and has good challenges. It requires some planning ahead and thinking about how to complete the tasks within the time frame. Also what buildings need to be built and upgraded early so as to get the resources needed for tasks. I look forward to more of these games.
I recommend this game!

This game really is, as the title says, a fairytale come to life. I am helping Anna rescue her faithful companion Tail while avoiding the wicked Queen from capturing Anna. I tried the 1 hour trial and had to buy the game as I was so immersed in it.
This is not a HoG. Its an adventure/strategy game. There are items to find, puzzles to solve, places to explore, things to discover. Some of the puzzles can be quite challenging. I do my best to solve them all but a couple have had me beat so the skip option is a great bonus. The graphics are delightful and beautiful.
Its giving my brain a good workout but I am thoroughly enjoying playing this game.
I recommend this game!

This is a good TM game for those perhaps a little newer to TM games. I had it set on normal mode and was able to get 3 stars every level without needing to repeat the level. Will try the hard mode next as this is likely more the challenge that I prefer. I still enjoyed it however. It has multi-click queuing for tasks which to me is essential in a TM game.
It requires one to build things, collect things, repair things, etc. I love the rescuing of the little pandas and finding the puzzle piece on each level.
I recommend this game!

This is my favourite Match 3 series so I'm delighted with this game.
There's plenty of levels, some very challenging. There are power-up or bonuses to help clear the board. Most of these power-ups can be achieved fairly easily. Achievements and awards also give coins and xp too, and there's a nice range of achievements to aim for.
There's plenty of cute and fun decorations and water plants to decorate the aquariums with. And, of course, the reason why this is my favourite Match 3 - the fish!! The still have adorable and often funny things to say that keep me entertained and amused.
My only negatives with this game is two additions to the boards that don't allow for relaxing game play. There are the bombs that go off if you don't clear them fast enough. And the oil that spreads if you don't match quickly enough and takes over the board. I personally find it very stressful trying to clear the bombs or stop the oil spreading by having to constantly match quickly,
The positives and the fish outweigh the negatives though.
I recommend this game!

I've really enjoyed 1 - 3 in the series and this one doesn't disappoint. Ragnar is older now but still has an adventurous spirit.
This game is similar to the other 3 games in the series. Gather resources, build buildings, banish evil nasties, etc. There are also a few differences. Some resources need to be reduced then removed so you can get more resources from a gold heap or a wood heap. There are apple trees to pick food from.
Has lovely visuals with the levels going from an underwater area to paths in trees and the like. I enjoy clicking on some of the little critters to see their reaction (the starfish are cute and had me :# ing).
I was glad to purchase this game on its release. Though I was a bit concerned about the 513mb download #I'm on prepaid internet). However this game is just as enjoyable as the others with just the right amount of challenge in getting 3 stars on the levels.
I recommend this game!

This is a great little road builder type game. It reminds me of the 12 labors of Hercules. Otherwise in the genre of MKFTP series, Roads to Rome, etc. You control 3 heroes on their journey as they build, repair and clear roads and buildings. You can upgrade buildings but you can also boost buildings for extra resources as you need them.
It allows you to queue tasks which is a must for me. There is an untimed mode which is great if you just want relaxed gameplay.
I like the graphics and tasks such as raising islands and the cloud of dust that goes up as you build, adds nicely to the visual effects.
If you enjoy road building games, this is a nice one to play.
I recommend this game!

I loved the MKFTP series and played 1,2 & 3 again and again. Saw 4 coming out and was going to buy without trying - so glad I didn't This is nothing like the first 3.
Based on the one hour demo:
I liked the islands and I'm glad I could turn off the shifting
But as for having to collect each resource 3 times and clear every bush three times - NOT fun, NOT enjoyable - just plain boring and extremely irritating.
It was difficult to see the resources collected as the resource panel at the side was small and not clear, which I found annoying.
I haven't decided if I liked the idea of collecting the fruit for the gorilla or not, mainly because it is not what I'm used to from the MKFTP series.
The storyline of looking for lost princesses does allow for further games in the series but please make sure they are in the old format not this awful 'new' format.
I would consider buying this one as a daily deal or a punch freebie but certainly not something I will be buying for the full price.
I don't recommend this game.

If you enjoyed NT 1 then you will likely love NT 2. The game is similar to NT 1 with building, collecting, monsters to drive away and the like. But there are also new things to do and to look out for such as paying builders to fix villages.
This time you are helping the king to repair his kingdom from the damage Gesta and her evil minions caused the first time.
I found this one much more challenging but as enjoyable as the first. The graphics are excellent and more detailed.
Gesta returns!!
I recommend this game!

This is a fun game similar to Northern Tale, Royal Envoy, Yankee in King Arthur's Court type games. It has the usual building houses and production buildings, clearing roads, chopping trees and repairing bridges. But there's some unexpected extras on various levels.
There is a relaxed mode so you can take your time with this game, which is good. But if you choose the timed mode, you will need to strategize in order to complete the goals in time. Don't just rely on what you can clearly see, its necessary to move the mouse around as some goals are 'hidden'. It has enough challenge that you need to really work on some levels to get the three star time.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game and hope there will be more in the series.
I recommend this game!

I liked VF1 and bought this one as soon as it came out.
What I like about it is that there are more rooms, most of which need repairs before you can use them making the house much larger than VF1. You can also choose what décor you want in the rooms. There are a,lot of décor choices. The are interesting career choices for your adults. You can also purchase some interesting items such as dice rolls, scrolls, career training, maids, etc. So VF2 has a lot more variety and choices than VF1.
What I dislike about it is that everything seems to be a lot slower than VF1. This is why I marked the fun factor low. For example it took about 4 hours of gameplay for the mom to stop nursing and for the family to age one year. It also seems to take longer for the adults to work on their career, to prepare meals, etc. The VV series and VF1 has a faster cycle - 1 year for 1 hour of gameplay. I don't want to have to leave the game running all day in order to achieve goals and earn money.
Its good for someone who is happy to leave the game running and visit it every hour or so to see whats going on. If you prefer the faster moving and more interactive experience of the VV series then you may find this a bit slower and less fun.
I recommend this game!
