No controls, no way to make music or narration lower, horrible musac. I lasted about 5 minutes and those only because I tried to figure out how that disaster works. No way, not worth wasting time and money.
No instructions. There are arrows but you don't know where they lead. Only for diehard fans and fanatics of the game (thank god, there are no idiotic moral sentences as in the first ones, but it did not make it interesting enough). Guess I am not a Joe fan.
No instructions, confusing quests, don't know when the match-3 actually starts as the beginning is just boring dialogues and incomprehensible actions. Looks like a primitive game straight out of the 80s.

This is an epic combination of too monotonous and uncomfortable to play with a high level of challenge. I should have read reviews first - I would have never bought it. Hated Adelantado (though I like Roads of Rome) so I would have never wasted money on that. Main peeve - a huge area you have to cover so you have to move the screen all the time. Second problem - no clear goals so you literally have to run around trying to figure out what it is you are supposed to do. Another unpleasant thing about the game - the level of difficulty is such that even in Relax mode you often can not finish the level in time. Quite stressful and irritating. As I only like to play games to relax, this is clearly not for me.
The main problem of the game is its slowness. Pages and inscriptions unfold so unhurriedly that you start clicking like crazy hoping to speed it a little. Same with sand clocks and scenes from the past. Puzzles are not superintelligent or interesting either.
Don't mind racing against time but I hate the "you have 10 moves" versions. At least the user should have an option - to play with a limited number of moves or limited time. Here there is no such option. That's the end of this series for me.

I play only for relaxation and fun, and for that reason, I (purely personal opinion) disliked Moai V and this new one as well. Too many poorly explained functions, too hectic, and my personal peeve - unless you follow a specific list of actions in specific order, you will never finish the level in time. I ended peeking into the Guide all the time and that removes all fun from the game. That's definitely my last Moai game. Recommended if you like a challenge and following instructions. Otherwise not.
