Was nothing like as good as other games in this series as far as I am concerned. I bought it because other games in the series had been enjoyable. There was no pleasure in doing this, just slogging through it. Some challenges were so difficult to find and I had just to run the mouse over the entire screen until something showed up. Just got it finished ASAP and didn't bother with extra bit.

I had looked forward to this game having loved the previous ones. This one is rubbish by comparison. Forced actions removed any joy from finding the way through a level - why, for heavens sake. The Strategy Guide does not help at all when you are reduced to looking for a way to get three stars on a level. I understand that innovations are made in every new game but there is no pleasure for a large part of the game. I have not completed the game, I have tried but cannot bring myself to stagger through a level where you are given no choice in finding the way through and it is just tedious.

Haven't played this type of game for a while but thoroughly enjoyed it. Really loved working it out. Got three stars on all games but took a bit of thought and strategy. Slight irritation on getting the speed-up feature to fit when I needed it but that was all. Recommend it.
I had all but given up on finding a HO game that held my interest both in storyline and challenges. Then I found this one. In so many previous games I had kept pressing the Hint button just to get the wretched game finished but this one I am enjoying the search. Has really appealed to me.

This is supposed to be a game that stands alone from a previous game but it gives you no instructions. I don't see why I should have to do my own research to find out what to do - what have they got against giving us some basic instructions.

I like the occasional Match3 game but this had no enjoyment for me. Just matching 3 to try to hit some creature was tedious to say the least. Gave it a go but had to abandon it as no pleasure here.
I don't recommend this game.

Liked the game but could not make head nor tail of most of the puzzles. Is it just me?

Unlike the previous reviewers this game was not my cup of tea. No logic in a lot of places. I like a good challenge but I ended up by pressing the hint button far too often because there was so little sense to the story. Obviously others liked it but - for once - the fact that it is such a long game was not in its favour.
One (for me) major issue reduces the gaming pleasure

I came across this on a daily (or perhaps weekly) deal recently and gave it a go as a change from all the thinking and calculating games I usually go for. Jolly good fun except that (a) it doesn't tell you how many secrets you have to find before you play a level and (b) if you find you have missed a secret you cannot go back and do the level again. You have to either complete the whole game and start again or just start again without completing the whole game. I started again and made a note of all the secrets needed after I completed each level with a view to starting the whole game again from the beginning. So frustrating especially when it is all too easy to reach the finish point without wanting to do so (i.e. on some levels you can go straight past the end marker to reach new parts of the level while on others the end point means just that. Why oh why? Now I realise that this may be a very old game and nobody cared about such things when it first came out but it sure as (fill in your word) makes a difference to enjoyable gameplay now.

I am glad I only played this on the daily deal; if I had paid the full price I would have been disappointed. That said, it was playable but had little depth to the story. It gave me no great joy to play but was just about good enough to play to the end. Seemed like a hastily thrown together game however.
