You will get hours of play for your money. Fun mini games, beautiful graphics ... intriguing storyline. Lots of area to cover, so you will use your map! But don't worry, the map is delightfully easy to use. The hidden object scenes were fun, clockwork type...where you have to find one item to open another area -- in which you find the next item. I love these type of hidden object scenes, and my only wish was that the game would have had more of them. The play was long; so long, in fact, that I forgot this wasn't the collector's edition. I recommend you try this game.
Complete dangerous missions amid dazzling landscapes of prehistoric Earth and alien worlds. Can you complete these thrilling puzzles in order to return home?
I loved playing this game. The story was fantastic, the graphics superb -- some of the best. The mini games were very unique and creative, and the hidden object scenes were fun, too. There were a few minor graphical errors, misspellings and typos, but they were minimal and didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the game. This is one of those games I probably will play over and over again.
I recommend this game!

By far one of the best -- if not the best -- game I have played. Beautiful graphics and artwork, fun story line -- all this without being too oppressive and without the endless reading of script prevalent in some games. It was bright, fun and highly interactive and the hidden object scenes were done in such a matter that I was sorry when each one was finished -- and I usually just 'click aimlessly away' on hidden object scenes to get them over with and 'out of the way'. But these hidden object scenes were fun and moved like clockwork.
The characters were wonderful, and their facial expressions were dead-on accurate. The mini-games were fun and made you think -- but not so hard that you had to hit the skip button. And I'm so glad I got the Collector's Edition, because the bonus chapter and game were the best I have ever had in any CE bonuses. BTW, I'm very hard to please when it comes to adventure games and HOGs; so bored with the same-ol'-same, grim reaper, gloom-and-doom, skeletons and bats and spiders galore all set on a background that is so dark I'm going blind just playing them (and these games have become such the norm it's hard to find any that aren't like this). But not with this game! This game was so refreshing! Yes, you had an ominous plot and the usual wicked villian that must be defeated, but it was done in an entertaining fashion.
To top all this off, the game was L-O-N-G! The best bang for your buck of 2015 so far! Obviously this game is a game that wasn't created by the makers 'overnight', but rather had time and talent invested into its production -- so huge kudos to the makers. I hope to see more like this from them in the future!
We have a little bit of logic (trying to figure out what decor would fit each client's specifications & needs) ... we have time-management challenges (trying to get the work built in the specific amount of allowable days) ... added with the flair of 'building' and 'fixing-up' (I love 'fixer-upper' games)... and a cute wonderful holiday storyline, to boot!
I gave it only four stars instead of five based on MY personal preferences (I'm not a huge fan of 'time management' games that give no option to switch to 'relaxed' mode), but if you are a fan of timed games then you will love this game as it has a little bit of everything, but not too much of any one thing!
How boring! The same game, over and over again 60x and then x 6 once more....you do the math! I keep thinking I should be going 'somewhere' or reaching 'something'...but, no...the same grid over-and-over-again x 60!
There are so many more games -- that are so much better -- to spend your hard-earned money on! This one is about as exciting as getting a root canal.
It is a shame that this game gets so difficult so early on. Level 4 is about as far as I can get! Level 5 starts out with the Ouba creatures at the very top and only one or two rises left before it fails. It could have been an awesome game, if the developers had made it so one could actually win if determined enough..or at least get their money's worth by being able to play past a few minutes without having an anxiety attack! Seriously, the developers should have made it so at least people can actually win it (or play it past 5 minutes!)... maybe it's just my computer as I see some people make it to a higher level and I find that not to be a possibility! (Unless they are playing in 'survival' mode, which you can keep going in -- but that mode is soooo boring!)
What a pity because the Ouba creatures are so adorable! So, yes, you will enjoy this 'fun' game...but only for the first few minutes. After that, the fun is gone and it quickly becomes a frustrating waste of money.

I loved this game, and I have played too many of these type of games to count. This one is on my top five list. The story is great, the graphics terrific, no tedious and boring games, fun and unique hidden object scenes. Lots of puzzling scenes that are fun and interactive. Mini games are superb, and every location is appealing. You won't regret this one!
The characters are great. A lot of fun. Really enjoyed this game, the mini games, the HOS, the graphics, the soundtrack. And the best bonus chapter of any 'Collector's Edition' I have ever bought!
Play it by yourself. Play it with the kids. Just play this game!
I guess I must be alone with my thoughts on this one as I bought this game because it had such great reviews! But I HATE it! The storyline is soooooo long and irritating. The mini games are horrible, I have skipped almost everyone of them. And I especially HATE games where you touch one tile, square, etc. and 3 random tiles change and you have to set them all in one sequence. Tedious and work, not fun and entertaining. I am no stranger to HOS games, have bought and played probably a hundred. This game was not at all fun. I felt like I had to go to work. I was just trying to hurry up and get it over with, but I insisted on playing it 'til the ending because, well, I paid for it LOL! I did play Christmas Stories: A Christmas Carol (Collector's Edition) immediately before this game and I loved it, so maybe I got spoiled on the fun I had with that one. Anyway, I found this game to be tedious and work, not fun or challenging at all.
