Cute, colorful and mildly spooky, this game captures the fun of going out trick-or-treating. The mix of easy puzzles and jumbled hidden object scenes follows a simple story with little repetition. Graphics are eye-catching and the sound effects and music are creepy. Get this game for little kids or as a coffee-break game to get you in the holiday mood.
Level types include finding listed objects in a junkpile, spotting the differences between 2 versions of a scene, and identifying sections of a photograph. Very few scenes repeat, although objects do reappear in various settings. Give this game a try if you like hidden object challenges based on photographs rather than animation, and enjoy Old West settings and twangy country and Mexican-style music.
This is an average turn-based RPG with prettier graphics than you normally find in these indie RPG games. The dungeons are large and fairly complex and you get a decent variety of spells. Enemies are visible but somewhat difficult to avoid. The story ends dramatically and I do not know if or when a sequel will be available. To get fullscreen, press Alt+Enter while game loads.
Among RPG Maker games, Skyborn stands out for its high graphics quality, with one caveat: the distorted perspective can be unsettling. More so than in many other 2D games, navigating Skyborn's fairly complex locales requires moving through a lot of short pathways into and out of that imaginary third dimension.
Otherwise, a short but sweet game and I would strongly recommend it to fans of Deadly Sin.
This game is full of cuteness, clever little details and an uplifting attitude. The match 3 boards have enough variety and challenge to keep you going after the main story ends. The occasional interludes of easy, but attractive hidden object scenes and light adventure puzzles keep you from getting bored. I particularly enjoyed the urbanized, modern setting for the farm.

This is the first MCF game I have played and I found much of it tedious and dreary. Its menial tasks, contrived dialog, disgusting imagery (gross, not gory) and hokey ending movie remind me of overcooked okra.
I give this game an overall OK because of its creative art style, detailed graphics and decent variety of puzzles. But it's not the best hidden object adventure out there.

A long and complex RPG that requires to you to pay attention to where you are going, whom you have interacted with and to remember what you've seen and found.
In very minor ways it is (understandably) not as polished or concise as its sequels, but still definitely worth playing if you love RPGs. You will not be bored. And the vampire dolls are adorable.
If you like RPGs but want a break from huge world maps with frequent backtracking and many sidequests, Vagrant Hearts will give you RPG gameplay without a lot of filler.
Most of the dungeons and towns are fairly well designed and you get a decent choice of spells you can assign to different party members.
If you enjoy the story of the two sisters, you'll probably want to consider Vagrant Hearts 2.
This the first episode of a planned series. The story progresses fairly quickly, with few sidequests.
Alpha Kimori is a Japanese-style RPG and differs from many of the RPGs available at Big Fish Games through its relatively short duration; futuristic/sci-fi look, emphasis on moral concerns, and traditional treatment of female characters. There are some fairly elaborate cutscenes and a nice song.
Please note that this game seems to demand more computing power than the typical RPG Maker game.
This is an average hidden object-adventure game with a somewhat unusual setting. There is a lot of backtracking but if you are ever unsure what to do next, the game gives you lots of hints. The game includes a variety of puzzles, including jigsaws, along with the many hidden object scenes. The graphics have a cel-shaded cartoony look which fits the tone of the game.
