Absolutely loved this game which was my first from this developer! It was a long game and kept me enthralled for hours. Music was just nice background music and hos scenes were evenly spaced out. Puzzles of which there were not all that many were fairly easy and there were so many twists and turns and also different areas to discover that I will definitely be on the lookout for more from this developer. I thoroughly recommend this game!
I expected a much better game seeing as it was another offering from Daily Magic games who I had thought would rival Elephant Games in the 'good game' department. The colours in the game were far too vivid and the whole storyline was just not to my taste. Having said that though I realise that everyone has different opinions on what makes a good hidden object game. This was not at all what I liked!
I was initially thrilled to finally get a game of this calibre......gloomy castles and old houses are very interesting to me and I loved finding out where things went and it was great when it all came together. But then I struck a snag in the form of the Ancient Order Medal....I had picked this up in the playroom after unlocking the trinket box but for some unknown reason it just disappeared from my inventory. I eventually resorted to the walkthrough but could not find any answer so had to uninstall then reinstall the game. That did not help at all so I was unable to finish the game which had so much promise of being an excellent game. To say I was 'disappointed' would have been the understatement of the year!
What started out as a 'ho hum' game for me ended up being an intriguing adventure type whodunit game which I really enjoyed. It is full of twists and turns and different little nooks and crannies so there is virtually a surprise around every corner. The graphics were great and the music was nice background music. However the sound that the wolf made each time I wanted a hint was a bit irritating. The game did have a surprise ending so I guess there may be a sequel in the making? I hope so
In the continuation of the exciting Mountain Trap series, you are called to help the town of Wilshere, which has been afflicted by a series of mysterious disappearances.
I have waited a long time for a game I really enjoyed and this started out really well...no cartoon like figures (which by the way really put me off a game)...music was nice and didn't detract from the gameplay st all. The graphics were great and so realistic. I don't know who the developers are but at the start of the game I thought the Grim Tales series had a serious rival. However I did find the conclusion of the game to be very abrupt so maybe there is a sequel to come? Here's hoping anyhow
Loved this game from Elephant Games...excellent way to spend a few hours . Not too hard and not all that easy ...just a nice little game. Good storyline and quite believable characters. The hidden object scenes were just right ...not too many and not too few either. As with most other games from this developer there were many twists and turns but on the whole money well spent!
I liked everything about this game.....graphics were good, music not intrusive but the perfect background music for a game in my opinion...characters were well presented..and story line while not new was interesting. I look forward to seeing more games like this from this developer!
This is a really good game and quite long. It kept me entertained for a good few hours. The graphics were some of the best that I have encountered lately and the story, although not new, was riveting. Hidden object scenes and mini-puzzles were not overly plentiful nor very challenging. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and can't wait for more in this series
Find the festivalgoer abducted by the gargoyles of Notre Dame and uncover the cathedral’s dark past in this reimagining of the Victor Hugo’s classic tale.
This was a good little game but did not quite meet my expectations as the other game in this series was much better. The graphics were quite good except for the robotic figures....I am definitely not a fan of them. The music was not intrusive at all and quite fit the scene. However the translation into English in certain parts of the game could have been done a lot better and I did have to use the hint button a lot more than I expected to, Though even that did not help at times so it was more by trial and error that I ended up in the right place for that particular part of the game. Overall though 9 The Dark Side of Notre Dame was much better than some other games I have played
I have just finished this game and in my opinion it is one of the best in this series though they are all good!...Puzzles, Hidden Object Scenes, music and graphics are done really well. It is a very long game but very relaxing and well worth the money. There was nothing I particularly disliked about the game at all and have played 4 in the series already. I really do hope the developers decide to bring out more.
