Seriously, HOW is this gem not more popular?!
Don't let the much welcome cartoon graphics fool you, this game is tough to get "Expert" level status on. Great challenge. Great game play. All around awesomeness. A+++
You get 50 levels of challenge as well as an endless high score styled challenge so you never get tired of playing.Totally worth a purchase. Highly re-playable too!

I have to force quit. For reference, I have a 2021-2022 MacBook Pro. Some of the others from these series work fine but not this one.
I don't recommend this game.
It’s trouble in paradise when Mia Faircroft visits Italy!

I only just started playing but already, I am really enjoying this one. It even has animated items in the scenes which I haven't seen in other HOG. What I do not like is that the skip function often doesn't work and just continues on with the dialogue.
I recommend this game!

This might look like your typical client serving TM game but you'll find that some levels, especially the challenge levels, require strategy to win. You'll get frustrated if you do not realize this. Read further below for an example explanation.
There are 60 regular levels and 18 challenge levels. In addition, you can create different profiles set to different modes: normal, relaxed and challenging to get even more out of the game. This game does not involve much cooking except in the later levels but make no mistake, it's not so easy.
Now, for the promised explanation. For example, with Challenge #18, simply getting a gold star isn't enough to win. You have to be strategic and time your service so that you not only get the gold star but also ensure that the flow meter does NOT run down when the game is over otherwise, you'll fail the level. For me, this involved getting my gold star and finishing the accompanying flow cycle and NOT serving customers after that. So yes, I had to let all the customers leave hungry and angry because had I started serving them, that would trigger another flow cycle and if I didn't have the right number of customers to complete a flow cycle when the game was up, I would fail the level. I learned this from many previous attempts. When you play, you'll understand.
Anyways, I highly recommend this game for a unique spin on service TM games. Great buy.

I HIGHLY recommend this series. This second one is even more fun for me. And it seems easier, somehow. I don't know if it is actually easier or if playing Burger Shop 1 made this easier to play. Either ways, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this release. It has even more levels in each pack (120 each vs 80 each in BS1), more diverse meal offerings and customers, improved Relaxed Mode design, etc. And the Challenge Mode on this one was TOUGH, lol.

Don't be deterred by my title. There seems to be a learning curve with most packs in the game. Before you know it, you will be acing the levels. It is HARD to get stars on ALL of them though. But I did it with a lot of sweat!! It's so addictive, I just kept coming back no matter how much the game whopped my behind.
There are various packs in the game:
Story Mode - 80 levels. Second easiest one, after Relaxed Mode. Increasingly challenging as you play, especially the last levels.
Expert Story - 80 levels. More challenge.
Extreme Mode! - 80 levels. A different kind of challenge AND a different strategy to win. This was my fastest and favourite one to get through once I figured out how to win. Level 80 was a doozy though. With this mode, you essentially do the reverse of the other modes to pass the levels. See further below for more details/tips.
Relax Mode - 8 games that you can continue playing indefinitely, even after you achieve a gold medal. The customers never leave. You can close the game, return, and continue right where you left off. Great when you want something relaxing without the challenge of the other packs. Very chill.
Challenge Mode - 8 games. This is the challenging version of the Relax Mode. The customers will leave once impatient so you can lose the game so try to get a gold star before that happens. You also cannot leave the game and resume where you left off. It will just record you highest medal and/or score achieved and you will have to restart the game to try for a gold medal and/or higher score.
Now, for my tips on the Extreme Mode!:
-Use your boosters on customers with the FEWEST items left to fulfill and on customers with the MOST patience.
Why? Because if you run out of cookies, it's game over and impatient customers will eat your limited cookies which don't replenish fast enough. Also, when a customer has more items left to fulfil, their patience increases with each item you serve them reducing their chances of consuming your limited cookies. This portion of my review will make more sense once you start playing the pack.
I highly recommend this game! Ignore the old aesthetics and don't be deterred by the beginning levels with all the upgrades, etc. That will all be over quickly as the levels progress leaving you to focus on the game and you will get hooked. Trust me.
Another tip, use your spacebar key to deliver the food. Don't use your trackpad like I did and risk messing it up. Enjoy!

This was a very enjoyable hidden object game. What I really love about it is the unlimited pack. More on that later. The main pack contains about 79 assortments of hidden object and jigsaw type puzzles. The CE pack contains 30 more similar puzzles. You decide if that's worth paying double.
The gem, in my opinion, is the unlimited pack which is in both SE and CE. You get 240 PURE hidden object puzzle assortments which you can play over and over again! You get the regular HOG style as well as styles such as the riddle, scrambled words, no vowels, image, silhouette, collections (my favourite) and find pairs (trickiest for me). You also get the bonus task of finding fun facts scattered in each puzzle collection (Hint: You're looking for a question mark symbol hidden in the puzzles). This unlimited pack, IMO, was the best part of the whole game. I highly recommend it!
Oh, and if you love the jigsaw style puzzles, you can click the "Photo Journal" collection and enjoy replaying them.

Enjoyable and with the same amount of levels are their other CE. This one doesn't have the bonus butterfly jigsaw or the bonus Christmas one. It also doesn't have the morphing butterfly hidden objects which makes me think it was probably was made before those offerings. Fun as the rest. I recommend.

Unlike the Cats and Dogs, you find a variety of animals which makes this one more fun... except I love cats so it's a tie, lol. My only gripe was there was an entire set of 3 all about snakes. Yikes!!
Tip: Hover your mouse pointer on the 0/16 critters found to know which type of critters you need to look for on each HOG level.
In this CE, you get the SE pack of 16, 16, 16, each of HOG, Difference game and puzzles (jigsaw type, flip to match pair and clutter styled, etc). You also get the CE pack of 6, 6, 6 of HOG, Difference game and puzzles. There is also a Butterfly Album with 24 jigsaw type puzzles. I don't know if this is included in the SE. If it's not, then this might be worth paying double.
I recommend this game!
