Same old story line. How many children/orphans do we have to save from evil spirits?? I'm beginning to think the devs have lost their imagination skills. The graphics & music are ok but the cut scenes drawings look amateurish. The HOG's are the usual miniscule junk pile variety & you are hopping from scene to scene constantly that I'm surprised that I didn't have an attack of vertigo!! I haven't decided whether I will be buying this game or not. My recommendation comes with the caveat to try before you buy & maybe you will really like it enough to buy it or if you are like me you are just getting bored with this type of HOS game.
NO Zombies, Vampires, Ghosts, deceased spirits/relatives or whatever strange creature the devs can dream up!! It is a nice straight forward who-done it which I love. The HOS are Not messy, tiny junk piles & they have real actors interspersed among the story which is a nice touch that I appreciate. The artwork is realistic looking & not the usual flat drawings with one dimensional characters. So if you want a break from the zombies, vampires etc. give this game a try. You might like it. I thoroughly did!!
Played 45 mins & was waiting for "Calgon" or the state looney bin to take me away! Music awful, story boring & awful. Absolutely NO redeeming qualities to the game. Shame on the devs. Did they let the new guy do this one & not check it before releasing it????
I don't recommend this game.

Fairway Solitaire: Tee to Play
Fairway Solitaire: Tee To Play is an award-winning combination of solitaire and golf. Play sequential cards to create long drives. Long drives make better scores!
This game is the exact same game as the Fairways CE game with a few differences. The graphics are improved but the gopher cut scenes & commentator chatter remains the same. Agree with the others that not having the game as a full screen is VERY annoying. The "pay to play" aspect borders on the greedy. At least it's free & you really don't have to spend any real money on the game to play it. If you haven't played any of the other Fairway games I say go for it. The price is right!!
I've only seen the show once & thought it was interesting & Castle was a HOTTIE! The naysayers do not know what they are talking about. The game is not just for beginners, graphics are NOT substandard but crisper than most I've seen recently. HOG's are not continuous messy, teeny, tiny junk piles but nicely interspersed with mini-games you can take or leave as you will. I did not find the action slow or boring and the story was definitely not shallow. Hint button was great. It actually gave hints that made sense & you could use to continue on. The current favorite game genre seems to be the endless, same old vampire, zombie, evil spirit/machine, dead people/lost souls & missing kids/relatives. These games require endless running around/back & forth, one messy indistinguishable junk pile HOS after another along with the same old mini games that quickly becomes tedious & boring. They are definitely out dated in my book. Though I agree that the music left much to be desired & it would have been nice if the actual actors did voice overs. Nevertheless detective & mystery stories ROCK! Let's find some devs who can give us a new/different genre.
Been there, done that repetitious kind of game. The music & graphics are hideous. The HOS are a mish-mosh junk pile of items that you have to match. They all contain ornate jewelry pieces, goblets, hair ornaments, brooches & do-dads that are indistinguishable one from another. The HOS are just plain ANNOYING. I didn't find the map helpful & there are frequent pop-ups that you found 1 of 4 "whatever" that you didn't even know you were looking for. Then there's the constant back & forth. Felt like I was a dog chasing my tail! Graphics are also way too busy. Couldn't wait for the demo too end.
Played only 10 min of demo & that was more than enough time to say 'Stupid Game & No Thanks". Graphics are awful, fairy talks like she's overdosed on "speed", & then there's an annoying dragon flying around with a flute that I was not able to use. Never played the 1st two games of this series but didn't need too as I figured out immediately just how bad this game is. Don't waste your time or money on this one. Shame on the devs!
Loved the demo & bought it with a credit. The game was moving along fine until I got to the jungle & the shaman. It was there that I found out the inventory only holds 7 items & if your inventory is full when you play a HOS an error message pops up. Since your inventory is full you don't collect the item that you need. So I guess I'll start all over & make sure I use the inventory items immediately!! The devs really goofed on this one & it's most annoying.........
Had difficulty right off the bat in the mine. It was the usual cluttered junk pile with hard to distinguish teeny, tiny objects. The robot button & hint button take a very looong time to replenish. The story line drags & I felt that I was getting nowhere fast. The scenes were not crisp & difficult to make out due to all the clutter. The voice overs were nice & the music reminded me of the type you hear while receiving a massage!!
The story started out ok but didn't sustain itself. No voiceovers, a lot of back and forth along with the usual junk pile HOS. I found the music ESPECIALLY annoying. When the demo ran out I clicked on the walkthrough to find out how the games progresses & was not impressed. It's a definite no buy for me.
