What can I say? This game is amazing. It took me 12 hours to ensure I had played every last nuance, collected every last rose and collectable available.
I just had to add my 5 stars to this wonderful game. I really enjoy Frags and this one is excellent. It kept me busy for about 6 hours in total and I wasn't bored for a minute. The Bonus Chapter is great and totally in keeping with the main story, which is very good. Just loved it.
I recommend this game!

The Torment of Whitewall Collector's Edition
Only one girl has survived the mysterious attacks on Whitewall, but she’s not talking… So they’ve called you in to end the town’s terrible torment!
A little too linear, the story is poorly put together and the HO scenes are boring, In fact the whole game is boring and under the circumstances the characters are much too complacent, the dialogue is very poor..
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
Like most people I'm a big fan of MCF games, and was very disappointed to see so many negative reviews and besides if I purchase this game I can purchase as many Collector Editions for half price and as there are 3 C/E's I'm interested in at the moment, I had to try the game myself.
My reason for only 4 stars is because I have only played the demo, otherwise it would probably be 5 stars because I was involved right from the "get go".
Sure it's different, but different does not mean it's bad, and the differences I found here were very good.
- the lack lustre scenery was in complete keeping with the type of story it's representing.
- the acting was great, loved the Ghost Patrol, the psychic acting was a bit hammed up, but I'm sure that was on purpose.
- the cut scenes were also in keeping with the story, and not overly long.
- the puzzles were different and good with out being too hard. - the HOS were interestingly different. - the new SG was a little difficult to understand at the beginning but I soon got used to that.
I also didn't find any morphing objects but that's not a turn off for me.
I think some people find it difficult adapting to new concepts.
My only issue with the game was that the scene changes were a little slow, but that's hardly a complaint.
Trial this game and make up your own mind, don't be put off by negative reviews. It's a buy for me.
I cannot praise this game enough. 7 hours of great game play.
It has everything: - great story concept - professional voice overs - intriguing artwork - interactive map (which guides you through the game) - 3 levels of difficulty - great (but not too difficult) mini games - achievements, plus find 39 turtles (I only found 37 boo hoo!)
Don’t miss this game, and don’t wait for the S/E because you will miss out. The Bonus Chapter is like a second (but connected) game. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING.
I was lucky, I chose to buy this game during the ONEDAY sale (30% off). I trialled 4 other C/E’s and then found this one. The draw card for me was the developer Mariaglorum. I have both their other games (Lockwood Manor and Kate Arrow - Deserted Wood) which are also very good, but nothing compares with this game.

I don't understand how anyone could give this game only 1 star. I'm not a great fan of graphics, a game does not have to be beautiful or colourful to be acceptable to me, (it does however have to be interesting if not challenging) but you would have to be blind not to give this game 2 - 3 stars on graphics alone.
And don't be fooled, it is not boring or simple. Straight forward? Yes! But not simple and certainly not boring, the concept is very intriguing and refreshingly different.
After reading the bad reviews I nearly passed up on this game, I decided to trial it more so because I enjoyed "Surface: Mystery of Another World" and Elephant Games are one of my favourite developers, Mystery Trackers: Raincliff C/E is still one of my favourite games.
I played the demo in advanced mode and the hour passed way too quickly. This is a buy for me.
OH! And don’t concern yourself with the use of skulls or grappling irons, their application is well within keeping with concept of the story.
After Shaban's sheep are stolen by thieves, he sets off on an epic adventure to get back what belongs to him. Help Shaban on his journey in this intriguing hidden object adventure game!
I don’t know where Shaban is going but I know I will follow.
Completed the demo in 30 minutes and found it captivating. Having read some of the negative reviews from people who had difficulty finding their way round, I made sure I read the Tutorial before I started the game, and had little difficulty following the logic of the game.
I found the ‘thought bubble’ clues and the hints very logical, but you need to pay attention to what is being ‘conveyed’. I missed the hint for the magnet the first time because I didn’t pay attention, so once I realised how the clues worked, it was “all systems A-go”.
