Overall this was a pretty good game. A different story line with some twists and turns. You are requested to assist as a "paranormal" investigator and you join two detectives on a case to figure out who stole a crystal skull from a collector's home. You find out that this crystal skull has the ability to turn your nightmares into reality. You have to get the skull back to return everything back to normal. That said, there is a twist, the bad guy is supposedly in love with the collector. But that is as far as the demo goes.
The graphics are quite stunning, although a little cartoonish. In the CE you have many side items you are looking for as well as your main goal. There are 20 vials you are looking for and each time you meet a new animal it gets added to your collection. The collection of animals tells you how to handle each animal.
So far there isn't an abundance of hidden object scenes but the ones that are there vary in style such as find an object to unlock another object and also your garden variety find the object. If you want there is also a match three game you can play in each scene to clear the hidden objects.
There is also an interactive map that tells the player where there are objectives and also allows the jump to scene feature.
I played the game on casual mode, and the puzzles that I played are relatively easy but you can alter each puzzle to hard mode for a challenge.
The sound was done well with music that does not distract or annoy, and there are voice overs as well.
I liked this game, it had a lot to do and kept the player interested with trying to figure out what to do next.
I recommend this game!

I am a huge fan of these types of games. I love trying to figure out which box to put where....
With that said, World Mosaics 7 doesn't disappoint! There are so many levels with this game that I am still playing new levels!.
I believe there are 150 regular levels and after you get so far through those you get a bonus section that has even more levels for you to complete.
The background music is very relaxing and quite beautiful.
The graphics are what to be expected with these types of games.
I didn't pay too much attention to the story line of the game but it doesn't take away from the gameplay.
Great job on keeping the players playing!
I recommend this game!

I only played the demo, but from what I played it was a wonderful game. I will more than likely be purchasing this game after the first!
Beautiful graphics and music that isn't intrusive.
The HOs are clear and in this game they vary by how you need to find the hidden items. Some of the HOs were a little challenging and seemed different than all the others out there.
With the collectors edition you get not only the "bonus" chapter but you also get a group of hidden chapters to play. There is also extras that you are looking for within the scenes throughout the game.
The Puzzles are easy enough but still very entertaining. In the demo I did not come across puzzle types that I have not played before in other games. They are still beautiful in their own right though.
All in all I really loved this one and it will definitely end up on my purchase list.
I recommend this game!

**Demo only review**
This game had a lot going for it but to me it was somewhat boring. There are a lot of cut scenes and talking throughout the game which follow along with the story line but I felt they were a little overdone, and somewhat repetitive. I could have made it through with half of them. They do however have a skip feature so you can move along a little faster.
The graphics are beautifully done and clear and the island is quite beautiful. There is an interactive map once you get into the island's interior. And like a lot of other collectors editions, you have the bonus of finding the morphing objects and the bonus items which produces hummingbirds that you have to collect.
There is a mixture of HOs and find this item to use at this location and even this part of the game is pretty simple.
The puzzles are nicely done but pretty easy to complete. They are typical puzzles that you find in these games.
The music is not intrusive and I left it at regular volume throughout the demo.
Overall the game is okay for a time waster but I think if I was going to purchase it, I would wait for the SE so that I can use a free game token instead of paying for it.
I don't recommend this game.

You start out with the game like a lot of others out there, you get the curious letter from a long lost relative and you have to drop everything to go help.
This game however feels a bit different once you start into the game play. It has a great story line for as far as I got into the demo. I played the entire hour and didn't reach the end of the demo version.
Lots of picking items up and using them to gain other items or fix puzzles to play with them.
There is not an over abundance of hidden objects scenes and the puzzles that I got to varied on difficulty although most were simple enough to figure out. There is an interactive map that not only will transport you to a scene you were already in but also tells you if you have completed a scene or if there are still things to do left whether that would be at that moment or later in the game.
The graphics are clear although some of the HOs were a little jumbled but it did not distract from finding most of the objects.
The music was not intrusive and I did not have to turn it down during gameplay. There is cut scenes and short movie scenes to watch as you go through the game but I did not find them annoying as in some other games. They were an added bonus to the storyline. There are voiceovers for the text throughout and sometimes it feels as though it is slowing the game down a little because you actually stop to listen to them but there is an option to skip through them if you would like.
Normally I finish the demo versions before the hour is up so I was surprised when I never made it to that end. I may have had something to do with watching the cut scenes but I really enjoyed that part as well.
Overall the game is quite enjoyable to play.
I recommend this game!

This game isn't your average time management game. I was expecting to have to hurry to complete tasks when I first started reading it however, there is no timer and you complete things at your own pace. It is a nice change from the other hurry and get it done games. In that respect the game play itself I did not find challenging.
The only problem I had at first was figuring out how to replenish food once you have collected it from the field. It didn't tell you at first that you have to click on the store room and load food back into your bag or whatever it is they are carrying.
The graphics are simple and brightly colored, but are very clear. In its own right very nicely done.
I tried at first to leave the background music on as I do with most games but ended up having to turn it down as it became slightly annoying.
The game gives you goals, which appear as little boxes on the left side of your screen, and you click on them and choose to accept the challenge. Once you are done that goal, don't forget to click on the goal again to get credit for it.
The game has some helpful windows that pop up as you are playing to show you where things are but I didn't see much instruction beyond that on what was required. Its not a problem with this game however because once you start clicking around you get the hang of the game.
Overall I enjoyed it and found it to be a relaxing game!
I recommend this game!

I have always loved this type of game and Kudos to this developer for creating a game that had more than 3 or 4 levels to complete.
I always fly through these puzzles so to purchase one of these games it had to be truly a great game. I was excited to see that it had so many levels to go through in this game and I am still playing!
The music is beautiful and goes with the Asian theme.
The graphics are nice and what are expected for a puzzle game that uses little square boxes to make pictures.
As I get further into the levels it is getting harder to get 3 stars/flowers on each level so I keep going back to replay the levels to try to achieve higher scores for each picture puzzle.
I love this game and if this type of game is what you like to play, I highly recommend a buy!

I have always enjoyed the Build-a-lot games and this one doesn't disappoint. The game play is the same as in the other versions of the games with similar goals catered to the specifics of the theme of the game. The Mystery part of the game is the eccentric nature of your people that you are building for. First round goes to a creeping looking Auntie that has a nasty eye and can "talk to spirits" and second round goes to a guy that is scared to come out of his house because of reports of a wolf... hmmm werewolf maybe? I didn't get much farther in the demo to find out however. You are also picking up the occasional item that appears in your landscape and "giving" it to your person.
Fans of these games will notice that the graphics have changed a bit and are very clear. The developers have done a nice job on the images on this go around as the landscape almost looks 3D.
It would have been nice to see a slight change in game play but I guess under the if it isn't broke don't fix it theory, why change something that a large audience has come to love and look for in this series of games.
Overall, Build-A-Lot doesn't disappoint and is consistent with their style of gameplay and made an enjoyable new addition to their series.
I recommend this game!

I only played the demo for this game but I did enjoy it very much and I am considering buying the full version. The game had a lot to do in the demo and was filled with puzzles, HO scenes and seek and find object placement objectives. You also get the added bonus of having to find seeds throughout the game to create a garden and grow flowers. I was able to find the first four roses and if I remember correctly there are supposed to be 3 or 4 other flower types that you have to find.
The hidden object scenes are a little challenging because they are a little busy but not annoyingly busy like in some games.
The graphics in the game are stunning and clear throughout the scenes and are pleasing to the eye.
You have a location map but I do not know if you can use it to hop to another location because I did not get far enough into the game to need to use it.
The puzzles are fairly simple and not uncommon for these type of adventure games but they are very nicely done so they feel new.
The music and voiceovers are not intrusive and are enjoyable enough that I did not change the volume settings for either.
All in all, a very entertaining game!
I recommend this game!

I played through the 1 hour demo and liked the game. I get the feeling it is geared toward a tween audience or somewhat younger. There is a lot of talking throughout the game but with the click of a mouse you can speed read through the comments or skip them altogether.
Story line of who stole the gold, and can we find the gold and still do some updates on the broken down school before the people who gave us the said gold stops by to decide whether or not they are going to shut down the school.
Lots of HO scenes with little extras added into each scene. Gem collection that earn coins, achievements that earn coins and some seek and find object placement puzzles thrown in as well. The puzzles are not that challenging but are still enjoyable. These coins are then used to upgrade the school while you are "investigating clues" to find the bad guy.
Graphics are quite nice in most scenes, a little dark in some but I think that may have been the point of the "room" I was searching.
Music was enjoyable and one of the few that I didn't turn down during game play. The game also had some amusing voices overs so I decided to just let the characters speak.
I feel like in the hour that I played I didn't get very far so it seems like it could be a longer game if you take the time to upgrade the school and immerse yourself in finding all the little fun stuff the game offers.
A good game for the right audience !
I recommend this game!
