I liked the story line - the characters were believable - the mini-games were fun for the most part - but why no idea of what to do - just figure it out! Hey, I do this for fun, not a major brain think.. No, I didn't get the collector's edition because I can usually figure things out. While there was a map, only new things were shown, not anything that I needed to do along the way, and many times I had to go from one end to the other just to do a simple task. Started out playing regular game and switched to casual becaurse it was so frustrating - and after I had finished the free hour. The hints were no help at all, kept telling me nothing to do - and yet there was. Please work on this one. Not worth the money and so I"m going to just delete it
I liked the idea of the story and actually had fun for most of the game. The map was a great help since you had to keep going from place to place and then back again each time you found another piece. It would have been great if, when at the map, you could click on a place and go straight there instead of all that clicking and if the places let you know if you had a task at that place or not. Finally just got bored with the whole thing. Didn't get all the jewelry and whatever that other thing was - not sure what my reward would be either. Wanted to be finished and then delete the game. Not worth playing again.
I don't recommend this game.

I was prepared to like this game - I really do enjoy the HOG for the most part. I simply want an interesting storyline, believable characters who keep showing up, a map is a great bonus and some extra puzzles to exercise my brain. When a game gives me 3-5 HOG before a truly simple puzzle then back to the same then I lose interest. Deleted this one before the hour was up. Not even worth it at a reduced price.
Boring game-too much HO searching and not nearly enough time to develop the characters or story line. Just when I think it might get interesting - another HOG and now I find once the red disk full, there will be a green one. Sorry, won't be finishing this game and you shouldn't either. Save your money for something worthwhile.
Okay I like the game - good storyline and all that. The map is a nice touch - ONCE you find all the little gold pieces which can be most annoying sometimes. The puzzles in the games are fun to figure out - finding MORE pieces in almost every scene is not. Half good, half bad. You choose if you want to be nit-picked all the time.
I could only last about 30 min with this game. One decent puzzle and the rest was looking for objects. Not enough diversity in the game. Sorry, guys, won't be buying this one.
I didn't play the first game - and if it's the same quality as this one - no chance I would buy it. First -that finger pointing has to go! In most games, that means you've found something good. In this game, just a distraction. Second - does the music have to be so strange and change with every scene? Third - why keep highlighting areas that don't need to be searched Fourth - when I ask for a clue, I really would like one - not the circle around the task I know I still must do. Had a hard time figuring out where things were, only to find parts 2 windows back, inside a HO game, or laying about somewhere. Summary - not worth the time. Found that I don't really care what happens to the kid or his mom. Sorry about that.
