While I liked playing this game - had some major problems. When I had NO clue what to do next - would have loved to have had a map showing me where there were areas I could have done something. Instead I wandered around way too much and got frustrated.
When in the cave - doing the 5 steps - kept coming back to the entrance because it wouldn't let me go to the first one - could hit all the others, but not the beginning. Certainly wasn't going to reload the game just for that!
It's okay - you'll have fun - mostly believable - maybe I'm losing my edge - sigh
I thoroughly enjoyed the first Mystery Case Carnival- great fun - many different kinds of puzzles- challenging and fun.
Now this one - well, totally different. One puzzle after another - little story - hard to figure out - had to use help all the time - even the walkthrough (which I rarely use).
Not worth your money or your time. Didn't even try to finish it and deleted it.
I was well-prepared to like this game. Thought the story line had promise and the beginning graphics were lovely, even if the dialogue was slow - could skip ahead. When I came across match-3 time after time after time after time - well, you get the picture. Was looking for a recipe to use for something - I forget now - and so decided to just give it up. Maybe you'll like it better
This is one of those 'your relative needs your help in a scary place' game. Unlike many, this one is actually enjoyable - and I had fun playing it. The mini-games were hard for me - and one impossible since I don't play chess. However, compared to many, these games were a challenge and fun to do. Would have benefited greatly with a map, but then most of these would. All in all, I liked this one.
I recommend this game!

Female airline attendant falling out of her blouse talks you through the beginning of this game (made it only a few minutes and a couple of levels) and you look for things, like all HOG games. However, this game for me redefines 'waste of time'.
Managed to last just 12 minutes on this one. I'm sure some will like it but not me. Too cutesy and I can figure out most of them. Maybe the 2nd chapter would have been better and I can hope others like it.
One of the best games I've ever played here! Loved all parts of it - didn't even have to use the hints or strategy guide very much. Most of it you can figure out if you just think for a little bit. Having the map was wonderful!! Made going back and forth so much easier than all that up and down clicking that can get tiresome. Loved the characters and how they all fit together - this is simply a great game to play. Not going to spoil the storyline for you - this is one you'll want to discover yourself. Even my grandsons were getting into the game and they may even visit more often!
I recommend this game!

I like HOG games a lot and play them almost exclusively. However, I simply cannot play a game that sends you hunting from one screen to the next and only a small 'game' at the end of the hunt. Uninstalled the game after less than 30 min playing.
Only lasted about 15 minutes on this one. The noise/ sound effects were loud, irritating; to see what people were saying they kept bouncing in and out and you had to hit an arrow. Don't much care what happens with this one so I deleted it and thanked my lucky stars that I hadn't paid for it already. The people who made this game need some major improvement before submitting it again
It's okay if you're new to HO games and don't mind getting something mildly challenging every now and then. Going from hunt to hunt to hunt ad nauseum is not my idea of fun. Thank goodness it was one of the cheaper games - and after I had bought another one - this was the $3.99 but only a couple of minutes to buy. Think I'll just keep passing. Graphics okay - and they do add a magnifying glass which is helpful. Otherwise, don't waste your money.
