Very Challenging because you can't use hint except in HO. No Map. I found the puzzles fun but not hard.
I like the good old fashion styling. I Loved the décor around the hint and tool fan.
I have windows 10 and am amazed how good this worked. No pause in between scenes.
Just tried the Puppetshow series this month and Loved the ones I tried. I wanted to go back as far as my PC system would let me.
Don't buy for the puzzles, but for the hidden objects because I know there are more than 25.

I bought 6 Mystery Tracker games this month. Since I didn't play them at the beginning I thought I would try them. Having previously played Raincliff Phantoms and Blackrow's Secret and loving them.
Have windows 10 and the 1st and 2nd ones, The Void and Raincliff wouldn't work on my system and Black Isle was just too old looking. So The Four Aces CE is my 1st Mystery Tracker in the series. I read reviewers who said they loved this game. Thank You Fishes.
So happy I got this. Crazy Good extras: Collect chips to buy things for my beloved Elf the dog helper. Collect Morph Creatures. I found 16 of them.
I had a Fire Salamander to light things for me. I was so caught up by the hint frog jumping up into his top hat that I missed the hint.

Spider Boy has multiplied in this game.
I'm so surprised this works so well on my windows 10 system.
Yes, no hints except in the Hidden Objects puzzles. Yes, they use the same HO more than once. Typical for the time.

I'm going to tell you the secret or the old way to play these old hidden object games.
You have to go back as many times to the scenes you have open and look and look again for any thing that will work or what you missed.
The more the scenes open the more you have to return to look for the hidden object sparker because that is what will give you a tool you will need.
Search and Search again.
What is fun is when you finely found it, you feel great.
If this fails and you can't find your way look up the name of the game with walk through online and it will have a cheat sheet to help get over the hump.
When I get my fill of HO I start another game and come back to this one.
I do like the new games but I also like to go back and do it the old fashion way some times.

I am so Happy I bought this. Fun from start to finished bonus. The bonus has a happy ending. 7 chapters + bonus. Has witches, trolls and snakes. I found the scenes beautiful and bright. Sunflowers included. The troll was sad and I helped him and made him happy, so heartwarming.
Super Fun, not boring, not hard puzzles. I chose this from the hidden objects section. I think the puzzles in this game are fun. I love maze puzzles. Love having a guide and collecting ravens. Missed a few and picked them up after main game.

There are screams heard in Silent Hollow... Trouble at the Mystery Trackers headquarters means you're called in to help.

Have Windows 10 and am happily surprised at how good this works and how great the game is considering the age. Some games aren't good passed 2015 and some 2009 as far as working with my system. I liked this game better than a lot of newer games. More substance and game play. To me the hidden object game is one that has hops and fun, not hard puzzles and this one does it for me.
I usually don't like not having a Collector's Edition because I always miss something but I did OK. The hints tell you where to go back to so you can find it. The map is good but not all telling.

Finished bonus last night. Some Hops are new and very challenging. The Morphs are very sneaky. They are in every HOP including the ones with limited sight and complex ones. So keep a eye out. I missed 4 and had to wait until the end of the game to retrieve them. Also I had to go back and get a few of my beast print collectibles. Can't see all of them in daylight when their in darkness.
I have window 10 and I had to click to continue quite a bit. The scene would stop or not go forward until I clicked. Kind of like click to continue but didn't state it.

This game I think is more a HOPs game because the HOPs are great and the puzzles aren't crazy hard but fun.
I enjoy the story and I didn't think it was too much talk.

The Bonus Game didn't have a happy ending in my opinion.
I chose the opposite ending but it went it's own way.
I was glad to have CE just for the Morphs and collectibles. Not crazy about bonus game but do know how it ends.

I wish my follow gamers would include their current favorite game. I find it so interesting. Is it the one we last played or do we hang on to one until we find one better? Do we love a new one enough to claim it? Are there too many good ones to chose from? I was real impressed with Adam Wolfe and Maze: Subject 360 but chose a different one.
I recommend this game!

I was having fun in the trial so I bought it, having almost all the others in this series. But haven't played them all yet. I wasn't having fun anymore as it went along. It was OK and I was getting bored. The bonus was short but I was getting tired of playing. I had to keep using the map which got slower has I went on. Hardly no sparkles. I kept missing places and didn't know they were there until I hit hint. It's not a bad game, it's just good and not great.
I recommend this game!
Save the besieged alpine village of Martlet and rescue its residents from the mysterious living statues in this exciting Hidden Object Adventure game!

I think this worked better on windows 10 than the one after it-Queen of Shadows. I found this game fun and entertaining. I like the traditional Hidden Objects Games and this has plenty of them. I think the statues are fun and the rooster funny. The map works really well. I'm glad I bought it.
I recommend this game!

This series has a feel that is relaxing and familiar. I've looked forward to every one. I 've liked some better than others. Some things were harder in this game, like finding things in the pouring rain. The collectibles are too small and the parable items are almost invisible which I don't like. I've never been crazy about fragmented HOPs but I know it's in all of them. I've never heard of this parable. I'd like to see some parables from around the world.
I recommend this game!

I played the trial and want to play more. I really liked Paris and the music. I liked posing the French cuties. So I bought it. I visited four other countries. I love the Hops and skipped a lot of puzzles. Since I have Windows 10 I had some delays in scenes and it quit twice. I just turned it back on and it worked. The Bonus has more than 6 Hops. I liked the memory game, matching the symbols. I didn't like the barking dog.
I recommend this game!
