I Loved all 21 hidden object puzzles. Out of 13 other puzzles, I skipped all but 1. I guess I didn't like the other puzzles. Kind of old minded with VHS tape, but had car GPS. Loved the doll house, aquarium , garden and gnomes HOP. Didn't like mechanical ones as much. Music is pleasant if kept low. Map and Hints really good.
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema!
20 areas-good map- hints works well. I found this was a short game compared to other games that came out that year, that I played. I counted 19 hidden object puzzles. I think this is a hop game. Puzzles were easy and fun. They had lots of click in the right order, move from one side to the other and a literary lock which you put the right author in front of their famous book title. (Edgar Allen Poe, Brom Stoker) it lit up when you were right. My kind of puzzles. Had to laugh at the slot machine. Made by Elefun Games which also makes Witches' Legacy which I love and have all of them. As to the ending, I didn't have a problem with it. She finished her mission.
A famous actor has literally stepped off the screen to kidnap your niece. Now you must find a way into the dangerous and exciting world of the film to save her!
An old game complete with VCR tape and dustbuster. The graphics aren't great but a really fun game. A jungle theme out of a movie screen. 7 chapters + bonus. The Hops are different. You have to use things out of your inventory. There is a tong switch to go back and forth. Some times you don't have it in your inventory yet so you go and find it and come back to your hop. I loved the pin ball machine and other fun things to do. Had tiger, naughty monkey and bobbleheads. Your in CineCity, get it? Some same people and animals in the bonus. Ended Nice.
I recommend this game!

PuppetShow: Lightning Strikes Collector's Edition
The women of Paris are being turned into puppets! Can you find out who's pulling the strings?
I'm really in love with this game. The CE has a piggy bank that you find in scenes, you collect money to use at the Patronage of arts, which you 1st restore grounds of the Eiffel Tower and then the Statue of Liberty. I think that's a nice CE. In this CE you can chose to play your game in Classic or Steampunk style. I chose Steampunk. 8 Chapters + Bonus. In the game you have Spider Boy, Gypsies, Circus, Egyptian-feel, Airboat and of course Puppets. They have much more things. I loved the storyline and I can care less of puzzles as my review isn't about puzzles. Counted 15 Hops and not like the old hops. It's like find 5 or 8 things to use like nails. Did like the doll house hop which you find a lot more items. Game for Fun people not brain stretchers in my opinion. Liked the Bonus game.
I was looking at the scene and thinking someone thought this up and created it. The sun is shining and I can still see and find the hidden objects. I like that it's not dark. Out of 6 in the puppetshow series that I played this is my least favorite. I played 1-5 and 7. With 1,2,4 and 7 being my favored ones. I counted only 18 HOPS which the others have a lot more.
Very beautiful scenes. I was asked twice in the game if I wanted my helper and I said yes both times. After I first found him and later when I bought it. So I guess if you change your mind later, you can change it. It doesn't both me to have a companion. Even a constant moving one. Had a problem and the guide didn't address it but my Big Fish forum had the answer so Thank You. I wasn't getting what they were doing in the bonus but I was glad I finished it. It revealed something and I got it. Sweet. Big Fish has so many great games.
Reveal the twisted plan of a deranged magician who has his own Vendetta against the world! And uncover a secretive world of magicians and discover the power they have held and passed down through the centuries!
Older game was just OK. Had a floppy disk. I have windows 10. A puzzle had to move the joints, I had one joint that just won't move. Inventory drags. I skipped 10 puzzles and played about 20 hidden objects. Skip is really slow. Hint is ok, but won't lead you. Had to look at walk through because I didn't know of a different area to the right. I don't even remember buying it.
This is the 5th one I played recently, starting with The price of immortality and then with 1 through 4. I Love it and want the Collector's Edition. I loved this more than some of the new games that came out in 2017.
Spider boy is only present in a drawing in this one, as we went back in time. It's the 1st time I saw heavy poufy hair puppet from the beginning as she's in the price of immortality also. Felicia is a child in this one.
Got stuck and had to look at walk through because I didn't know I could go right or left on the stage. This one has hint but not much help. The hint doesn't lead you around and no map. Also didn't know I could zoom in on balloon pump. But that one look was all I needed.
I bought the CE without trying it first and had a hard time trying not to use the guide or hint. I didn't know what they wanted. But later I started getting into it. It seem to get easier for me to figure it out. I counted 17 Hops in the main game and 5 in the bonus. Liked 3 puzzles and skipped the rest. 5 Chapters + bonus. Loved collecting the paper dolls and the morphing objects. If you collect all the paper dolls you have a extra HOP in the paper doll scene. I can live without the limited vision HOP in the main game using a light and the dizzy rose picture in the bonus game. It just made me dizzy. Like to keep the roses. Is this the makers trying to make it harder for the folks who like it hard? Love the twist in the story and the side ribbons letting me know if I still have something to find or not. In the end, I'm happy I own this beautiful game. I can just take a moment to take it all in.
Felicia and spider-boy are back and they want your child. I found this one harder than the 1st two in the series. I had to look at a walk through 3 times. Was at a lose for what they wanted me to do. Wish I got all of these in Collector's Editions. Had 24 Hidden Objects in my count. I Loved the maze game and the dancing girls. I felt real bad for the crying puppet and wanted to rescue her.
