I think this game is beautiful. I don't find them so easy. I'm a fan of 4 Friends games and I Love most of them. It had a puzzle in a hops and could skip it staight away. Looking at the trial game, it looks like it has replays on 13 hops and 20 mini-games. Five Chapters + Bonus. My favorite in this series is Alice in Shadowland. They also made Living Legends, Edge of Reality, Dark City and Immortal Love
It has a good collectible indicator that is a side tab. You collect 42 puzzle pieces and 45 morphs or the other way around. I think this is generous and I love the extras. I don't mind gadgets but think they are fun. You collect coins to buy things you need from Mrs. Sheep's traveling store. I hope they have good screensavers, the best one so far is from Grim Façade: Broken Sacrament. I didn't like the grid with chess pieces so I just skip them. I can't wait to buy it.
Every Chimeras is different with different people, animals and stories. With my favorites in the series-Cursed and Forgotten, Mortal Medicine, Mark of Death and Blinding Love. This one is number Seven in the series. This one is more playful with the creatures. It has three chapters + bonus. I would call this a relaxed game, which I Love.
Spoiler Alert
If you like a dragon, centaur, vampiress, mermaid, werewolf, griffin, sphinx and serpent women this may be for you. It does have a demon and demoness.
Find forty eight puzzle pieces, twevle cards and twenty eight morphing objects. Has secret room, so replays on fourteen hops and twelve mini-games.
Replay 37 mini-games and only 12 hops, very uneven. Hops are interactive. Ten hops in the main game and two in the bonus. I liked only eight mini-games. I like my games relaxed. Liked the story and the colors. Liked the animal helpers but they didn't stay very long. Indiana Jones type story. Felt like a long game which has Five Chapters + Bonus. From the makers of Endless Fables. I think this is number six in the series.
Nice collectibles, they look like stone parrots, chameleon, jaguar and alligator. Seven of each. So twenty eight. Collect Seven posters. Find twenty morphs. Not all places have morphs or collectibles but has nice indicator that tells you what you have in a scene.
Nice and Creepy Mystery. Very well balanced with 13 hops and 13 mini-games that you can replay. Nine hops in the main game and Eight mini-puzzles in the main game. I liked the hops and part of the mini-games.
The collectibles- 12 hidden eyes, 12 ravens and 26 morphing objects. I had a glitch on Windows 10 but could continue so bfg is taking it's time getting back to me. Loved the bonus chapter with the creepy bear tied to the Bennett Mansion.
Based on the trial I liked the trial. I seen some familiar places. Liked the hops and it has replays of 21 hops. Collect 27 Snowflakes, Morphs in the scenes and hops. I liked some of the mini-games. Not all of the Mad Head Collectibles are the same.
The Series 1. Skyline Adventure. 2. Daughter of Thunder 3.The Frozen Soul. I have the first two and I plan on buying this one too.
I enjoyed the story and characters especially Nubi and the Stone creatures. Skip and hint are very slow. Graphics aren't very sharp on Windows 10. It's a good OK game in my opinion but toward the end I was getting tired of playing. Mostly because I was getting tired of waiting for the hint and skip.
I played the first two in the series and I liked the story and not the game play in them. This one was doable. But it's puzzle heavy and I'm a hops girl.
When I finished the third chapter I check the replays you have only after you finish them in the game. Well, the replays were 23 mini-games and 5 hops. Very uneven. After the four chapter which is the end of the main game it had 26 mini-games and 12 hops. After the bonus chapter 29 mini-games and 14 hops.
I did like the 20 Souvenirs and 37 Hidden signs, 14 morphs in the hops and 11 videos. Playing the Harp. There are interesting characters. The only blur I had was the back ground when someone was talking. I thought it was a conscious focus.
I noticed in the Mad Head game Cadenza that they all have different collectibles like golden tickets, diamonds, music records and dancing couples. The Mad Head game Beyond has you collect Rockets. In a Shadowplay you collect eye symbols. Nevertales Forgotten Pages, you collected a book. In the second Rite of passage: Child of the Forest you collect acorns. This game you collect Twenty Nine Skulls. In my opinion most of them were hard to find. While part of their games have their signature symbols, it's ALWAYS been that they didn't include it in all their games. I like the different items to collect better.
I loved this game. I liked every puzzle, every hop, the game play, the Grimoire Talisman that you watch a grid that places like five or six skull and you repeat the placement. I found this challenging. If you don't place them right it repeats the sequence so you can get it. I didn't skip any of them. I really enjoyed painting the Wolf and it was a bit tricky. It has Five Chapters + Bonus Chapter. The Guide is Excellent.
I collected 29 morphs in the scenes and 21 morphs in the hops. I found this generous. They weren't easy in my opinion. All of the morphs are in the guide which I loved and they have a very good indicator. You must find all the morphing objects to unlock the bonus game which is a fifteen piece jigsaw puzzle which I liked. In the Hops Gallery you can replay Twenty one hops.
I liked the Bonus Chapter. It's what happens afterwards and I liked the adventure.
The details I liked were the Stone Turtles and the Buffalo.
My only complaint is I had to put my monitor on 100% brightness to see every thing and it still was a bit dark. My monitor is HD and LED so it's newer, so I don't feel I should have problems.
I didn't like the trial of the CE so I used a free coupon to see what happen to the boy. I'm glad I didn't pay for it. I skipped all the puzzles. The hops have become cluttered lately. It's almost as if someone who doesn't enjoy hops was giving advise about them. Too clutter, so much so that it hurts your eyes and brain. It was better before. Just pick them up and look at the pretty picture and continue the story. Some gamers just want a game to entertain and relax. Not everyone likes a challenge.
I Loved the first one in the series. I want to buy this one too. I was very impressed with the extras to start out with- Replay Hops, Treasure Hunt, Ultimate Hops, Wallpaper and Case files. You collect the signature collectible, Morphs and Morphs in the hops.
I was caught up in the adventure and the mystery. I want to find out more about the Enigmatist Club and how it fits into the 1899 train derailment.
