Based on the completed game. It has the hops I like. The list kind that are lovely. I counted 19 hops. I like my games relaxed and it was challenging enough for me. I liked the mystery of it. The raspberries look like strawberries. The custom setting has zero sec skip and hint. It didn't feel like a short game to me.
They also made Haunted Train, in that series I liked Spirits of Charon and Frozen in Time. They also made Medium Detective.
Based on the finished game. Or it seemed long. I counted 20 or 21 hops. They were very cluttered. I don't like cluttered. Part of the hops were logical connections, where you put back the things you collected on a earlier hop. I found this more of a chore than fun. You can do a jigsaw instead of hops.
They have a crucible you use. It's a green beaker and you use it on slime green items and you get things you need.
I liked the scenes they are very detailed. I liked putting things here and there and using things. One time I counted 15 scenes opened at once and I was adding more and more by getting in. I counted up to 25 scenes opened at once. You use the map constantly.
It has 5 chapters. I only liked the easy puzzles. I think it's worth a full punch card but next time I'll not do the cluttered hops because they felt like a chore.
I loved the 15 hops. The music is on a loop and plays over and over. I had to shut it off. This is a old game. One hops had a floppy disk on the list. The actors don't talk, you have to read everything they say. No map but the hints will lead you. More story than anything. Lots of hidden places to go. I think it was interesting. I like relaxed games and it was enough of a challenge for me. I thought it was fun. The art is very detailed.
Based on the finished game. I found this more entertaining than the last two CE games that I played and this was a SV from a filled game card. I read all the reviews for the CE of this game and decided to get the SV. My download data was 474.1 mbs which is pretty light for a game. The data amount is more in line for just a trial and some have even more data for a trial. I would have liked the extras for this game.
I counted 7 hops and I liked them. I liked the story and game play. This was challenging enough for me. I like to relax and just have fun. But gamers don't want less in a game and that includes shortness.
Based on the completed game with bonus material. 5 chapters + bonus chapter. Collect 31 signature swirl collectibles. Collect 31 story mementos.17 morphs in the hops. 12 hops in the main game and 7 in the bonus chapter.
I was having fun until the 5 chapter. It became more mechanical than previous chapters and I wasn't having fun any more. The bonus chapter had very cluttered hops which I don't like.
I did like the treasure hunt that turned into the Ultimate hops which you can replay. You can replay 17 hops.
Based on the finished game with bonus chapter. She uses her special talents to see what happened in the past. She received her special consultant license with the police in 1903. 5 chapters + Bonus. With 18 puzzles and 20 hops. 32 hidden drawings. 10 morphs in the hops with a indicator that disappears when you found it. It has a lot of fool with it puzzles that I don't like but it does have in custom selection Zero wait for hints and skip that I really liked. It has the hops that I Love which is list and some have interaction. No replays of anything. It was a ok game. I would have liked to replay the hops. I think they need better or more extras.
The bonus chapter hops are nice as a flower shop is there. I don't know why I wasn't more excited over this game. But there is nothing wrong with it.
There was peace in the Five Realms and something happen and it has to be fixed. 4 chapters and if you did the trial that was the first chapter. The data amount is Great and I think it was a long game. The notes with propaganda has exceed my limit. The elves think humans violated the truce. The story and game play is fun except the beginning. I hated the climb and finding a safe spot wasn't my idea of fun but after that I had a good time playing.
I counted 20 hops. The hops are interactive. Some puzzles are storybook like hops. So I think hops lover would love this game. You can play Monaco instead of hops if you wish. I think this game is clever and I loved it after the start. I liked the Elk and the mystic places and things.
Based on the completed game with bonus. I couldn't stop playing and I went to bed late. The story and the plentiful hops kept me playing and I didn't want to stop. Most puzzles were more hops like. I counted 17 hops and 6 mini-hops in the main story and 7 hops and 3 mini-hops in the bonus. The killer dolls are so creepy. You hear their taunt frequently.
The story ties around Sarah Abrams from Pennsylvania. Her work life in the supernatural and in the bonus chapter that loops around, how it all started with her twin sister Harper.
It took 1.2 G to download this which is a Great amount of data. That could be why all of Elefun Games have the loading scene which doesn't take forever and this time they have pictures of Fear of Sale games to look at. I guess I would rather have the load scene than a short game.
All of Elefun games doesn't offer replays on hops or mini-game and never has, as far as I know. I would Love it if they did. They also make Witches Legacy, The Keeper of Antiques, Mayan Prophecies and The Forgotten Fairy Tales. The 15 Magazines you collect have these other Elefun game titles on the magazines that you collect. I would stop and try to read which past game it was because I love their games and am a fan.
You collect 20 eye symbols and they are usually on paper. I usually put my cursor on the eye and then read it because once you click it again on the paper it won't come back and you won't get that collectible. I found that out the hard way. Elefun has never let you retrive your collectible ever as far as I know. I hope that they would with every new game.
You find 31 Morphing Objects. In the Extras you won't find any of your collectibles. You only get that Achievement. You can download 18 music tracks.
I think you'll like it if your a hops lover and you can deal with the scene pause. I loved the story and hops and put up with the pause.
I Loved the last Puppetshow: The Curse of Ophelia it was Super Fun and last time I questioned where is Spider Boy and I hope that they would bring back the Black haired Doll and I got my wish. They brought back so many good memories of the past games with the continued throwback with other beloved characters and some new ones (guard doll) I'm so happy to see them. I guess only fans understand. I bought all the Puppetshows. Loved all but two. The two were OK.
You can pick your gender, looks and occupation. I always choose a blonde female like myself or a red head. Occupation is choose your hero-Detective, Journalist or Adventurer. You collect piggybanks to buy things like the mechanical cat (another character from past games) to keep your cat company. (It's things for your cat that Miriam made or invented). Find 32 Masks and the indicator changes color when you find them. Usually the Puppetshow Achievements have a sense of humor and tricky things on it.
Last time some people complained that they are dolls and not puppets and I see the disclaimer this time saying we have all kinds of puppets and dolls. Give me a break. They are both cool and ok in my book. Now you have people chirping about the disclaimer. People can always find something to complain about. I just want to have fun and play games. If you don't want to play games, why are you here?
I thought the end of the trial had a nice twist and I'm buying it at the next good sale.
I thought this game went down hill after I bought it. In the trial part I liked a whole lot of it. The creepy doll puzzle. The mystery, helping and saving my loved one aspect, wanting justice. That's why I bought it.
It has a lot of hops,19 in the main game and 5 in the bonus. What I didn't like about the hops were they became so dark it was like finding things on a black background. I had my monitor on 100% Brightness and 100% Contrast and I still had a hard time seeing anything. Normally I'm a hops lover but I hate cluttered hops and one's too difficult to find, as that isn't fun. I did like the bug one. The morph one's especially the one in the bonus chapter was way too slow morphing where you had to wait and wait.
I liked very few puzzles, only like the doll puzzle and I liked the finger prints on the window one which I didn't need them to hold up for me. I kept trying the mole puzzle but I couldn't figure it out even with the guide. Most puzzle further in the game showed you what they did and I didn't care about these. I wanted to see how they did the mole puzzles and it didn't show it. They had some puzzles you couldn't skip and it was a pain hinting your way through it. It got to where I rode that hint button all the way to the end of the bonus chapter. After I was done I went to the replay of the puzzles and tried doing the mole puzzle again, No luck. I was very disappointed.
I own all of the one's in this series with my favorite being Behind the Mask. This maker usually has morphs in the hops but they didn't in this game, I think they should have. I did like the 16 morphing statues in some scenes. The indicator took me a while to figure out as it stayed on during some puzzles and that is unusual. You collect 36 hidden brains in a jar and the last scene in the main game wouldn't let you get it. It had dialog and ended after the dialog and I was clicking that jar and it wouldn't pick up. It's a good thing this maker kept that perk they alway have, which is you can retrive your collectibles that you miss after the bonus chapter. You have 15 souvenirs but would have been better with normal lighting. If they don't listen to this buyer, this will be the last one I buy in this series.
