I play a paranormal detective. My friend who is a actress invited me as a plus one to a exclusive casino ship.
I had a love/hate for this game. I liked the scenes except the hops. I wished they took as much attention to the hop scenes art as they did the cocktails. The cocktails look wonderful. As much as Domini uses saturated color, which I don't mind. Why are most of the hops scenes washed out? Some hops, you can barely see the items by the toolbar that they want found. One corner has a light washing it out in many hops. It's terrible! Also way too many story hops. One hop has like 50 symbols on leaves of a bush. I groaned, then decided to treat it like a puzzle and then I was fine. It even had morph in this one. (It was more puzzle like).
I did like the attention to details like my name on a bag. The Domini dog in various places and Domini magazine.
I liked the animals they used. Buying things to decorate a room. The game storyline didn't take the expected route and I liked that.
Now the sounds drove me crazy. Mind you I turn down the music and everything but the voice. The first time I heard the joker I about jumped out of my skin. I almost had the environment sound on off. What drove me crazy was one place they had a constant bird sound, two place a constant yapping coyote sound and some places a unpleasant hum. This ruined a good deal of my enjoyment.
Now the puzzles. They had quiet a few I liked. You have to adjust gauges to move a ball to the end. Loved that one. Moving things by picture or color I also enjoy. Normally I like jigsaw puzzles but the one's they had were terrible. You would have pieces in the picture and you couldn't move them out of the way to see the picture. Very frustrating.
You have a smart phone beeping because it helps you communicate with ghosts causing anomalies.
The carnival lights on the left corner didn't bother me that has your collectible notice. What did was that is was empty most of the time. I would like them to be more generous with the collectibles.
The wallpaper has characters all over them so they are worthless to me. The concept art has the one's I would like but they are unfinished art.
I liked the unexpected story. 5 chapters + bonus. If you played the trial it ended on the end of chapter one. It's like they didn't finish shading the hops and they didn't clean up the sound. That's the good and bad of it in my opinion. I can't recommend it.
I play as Anna. My sister who works at a Museum calls for my help with a thieve. My special ability is going back in the past. I find a bunch of confused kids that have special powers. The story unfolds.
I liked the morphs, collectible statutes and puzzle pieces. The Archive has replays on 13 hops and 13 mini-games. The secret room has 61 morphs to find in four different rooms. I thought the morphs were perfectly timed for my enjoyment. I would have liked to retrieve a missed item but I could not.
I liked most of the puzzles. Especially the jigsaw, follow what is played in that order, paint by number. They are fun.
It has six chapters + bonus. It didn't seem short to me. It took the normal amount of time for me but I like looking around and just enjoying. I don't get in a hurry.
I would have liked to have a moving screensaver of the moving Dinosaurs but you have 3 plain one's instead.
I would have liked to have wallpapers of the dinosaurs from the main game. From the bonus chapter, the Weeping willow tree. I know the makers are proud of their characters but I would have preferred these without anything else. I've been saying this for years.
I also would have preferred that the guide had the finished product picture of a mini-game with instructions. It had one mini-game that you had to place four items next to the picture of the four items. I placed them on the outside area. The finished product if you enter all the letters put you on the inside. I could have put them on the inside if I knew that is what was wanted if I seen the finished product picture. I just skipped it after I had them on the outside by their pictures. Also the lock didn't have a picture in the guide but they wanted the number only in the center and not on one end. I could have used a picture for that.
My favorites from this series is The White Lady, Graywitch and The Time Traveler.
I play as Diana and I'm in a museum. A Mayan stone calendar moves and takes me to another place. I try to find my way back and I met wonder people along the way.
All the hops are interactive. I liked the puzzles in this game. I liked the surprise movements too.
I try this game when it first came out in 2017 and I didn't like the CE but bought this SV with a punch coupon. Now I want the CE. I don't know what changed but I Love it now.
The best part for me was the extras-collectibles and morphs.
The hops were too well hidden for them to be fun. Always had one or two to click around to find. Too many puzzles for me. The gameplay wasn't smooth but a chore.
The bonus chapter is a week earlier so it's a prequel. It's based on Andrew Collins the arrogant character.
I used a full punch card to get this game. The game is long with six chapters. I liked the hops and the story. I didn't like the long skip time and the hard puzzles.
There are so many places and the map has clouds over a place that you use time and time again the tower door. You have to get to it using the hint button.
It has great special effects and the game is pretty., The game came out in 2014.
Lord Abel Mason wrote and asked you to help with a recent tragedy. His beloved wife Mary passed and the police suspect her sister, but she claims to be innocent.
I Love the mechanical salesman and the Grandma tattoo on Mathew. In the bonus I love the cat. The game is good but I wished it had more relaxed puzzles. The mystery kept me interested. Towards the end, I felt it was get and place. I wanted more surprises like the beginning. In the bonus, I didn't want to do the chemistry part at all. The clip after the bonus chapter and Epilogue was a good surprise.
My favorites in this series are The Story of Tideville, Everburning candle, Song of Sorrow and Enfant Terrible.
I liked the maze in the bonus chapter and the stain-glass hops in the main game.
I missed a few Sin cards and after the bonus chapter it bought me to the extras with the sin cards and had a little picture of the scene where I missed them where the goblets glowed. I clicked on them and picked up the few I missed and it bought me to Epilogue. After you play the Epilogue their is a surprise. By the way Revenge is the bonus chapter.
Jigsaw to complete and save from the puzzle pieces you collected. 12 wallpaper and 12 concept art. Replay 12 hops, 11mini-games, 24 movies and 8 music.
I really liked the trial part and I bought it. Well, all I can say is I thought it went down hill after that. Some hops scenes are repeated. Too many fool with it puzzles. They made the puzzles harder. I only did the matching parts and skipped everything else. The bonus chapter is even worse.
I bought all the other Enchanted Kingdoms. The last one had you complete puzzles to use the scepter and I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. This one has too many puzzles. I like the list hops and these are too puzzle like.
Loved the story. It's creepy with the stories of the hotel workers and others. Loved the morphs in the hops. I love the list hops and that's what I got. The hops are multi-layered so when to find the morph was hard. I liked the game play. I didn't like any of the mini-games but I play for the hops.
The four long chapters + bonus chapters kept me busy for three days as I would stop when I was overwhelmed. The beginning threw me since it started without me setting anything. They call that the prologue in the guide.
As far as the guide, I liked the large enough pictures and the finished results for other things.
The bonus chapter has my sister Tilly and me teaming up to take on a problem. William fits right in with the story.
Replay 21 hops, 20 mini-games, 12 videos and bubble shooter. (I didn't like the bubble shooter) Achievements, 8 wallpapers, 8 concept art, 24 Souvenirs and 45 collectible clocks. I liked some of the chalk drawings in the videos.
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema.
A co-workers fiancé contacted me that Adam was missing and she needed my help. She was given a ticket for a closed cinema and I try to take her place to find Adam.
I bought this CE game at the last BOGO because I was missing Elefun and because it has 101 collectibles, with morphs in the count. I played the main game already because I had the SV.
It's a older game. It came out April 2013. It's the fourth in the series. I love list hops and this one has 25 of them. Out of the 30 puzzles I played 24 of them. It has 35 collectibles and 66 morphing objects that they added together in the guide for 101.
It's long with 7 chapters + bonus chapter. It has multiple scenes and most aren't closed off to visit. The map is good and helps you travel.
The bonus chapter has you help David McInroy. I liked this game more than lots of the newer games.
