Playing only 30 minutes of the demo prompted me to buy.
Set in 19th century London, the quality of this game is comparable to some of the top notch large file adventure games, but with the ease of use and features that appeal to most people, like interactive hidden object scenes, not too hard mini puzzle, a hint and skip button. If you love that genre, you will love this game.
Fantastic movie like intro, excellent dialogues and voice overs, spot on music.
Getting 3 game modes, a bonus game, extras, a detailed map (depending on what game mode you play), and a great guide means this game has everything one could wish for.
I absolutely loved this game as it has all the ingredients required to make it a fun experience. As usual, ERS Games have not disappointed. The amount of details to look at in every scene is a welcome challenge, the mini games are interesting, the music ominous and matching the general gloomy atmosphere of the game rather well. 3 play modes which you can change at any time, a detailed strategy guide, good graphics and voice overs make this latest game from ERS unmissable....and how not to love the return of the "little guy"....play it and see ;)
Although the graphics were a touch rough and the movement between scenes a little slow, I really enjoyed this game. There were a lot of detailed areas to investigate, morphing objects to find, a great map where you can select or deselect options, 2 game modes. HOG's were always different, not just the classic type, but also more interactive ones which I thought were great. The general spooky atmosphere of the game was good as well. Nice voice overs and cut scenes. Very good intro which closely resembles the final scene of Alien (the movie).
I was a bit disappointed with this game. I liked the storyline with the main character being in a coma and having to go back to each of her memories to undo her past mistakes, unfortunately the graphics, sound, interface and general atmosphere weren't up to scratch and ruined it for me. The music was good and relaxing. The game was very slow when moving from one scene to another and generally very clunky. The HOG's were good with lots of interacting and the mini puzzles were very easy. Hint and skip buttons recharged quickly in easy mode. The hint button automatically took me to the scene where I had tasks to complete.
I wouldn't buy the collector's edition of this game.

This is a fabulous new installment in the Shadow Wolf Mysteries.
Veronica goes to Paris to marry her fiancé, when she meets a werewolf.....you are called in to help capture werewolf Mephistus.
The game has fantastically detailed graphics with a lot going on in each scene, good voice overs, 3 play modes, fun HOG's and mini puzzles. The hint button recharges relatively slowly in advanced mode. Good strategy guide.
As usual with this dev, the game beautifully spreads across a labyrinth of scenes/rooms/situations with an enormous amount of detailing, making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Based on the demo, I thought this game was fantastic.
It has amazingly crisp and detailed graphics, real actors, a clear strategy guide. I loved the mechanical spiders. The journal lets you replay the video of each scene. It has 3 play modes to choose from, quite easy hidden object scenes, good mini puzzles. The hint button recharges quickly. The music is good. Beautiful concept art in the extras section, and some of the wallpapers are just amazing.
I loved the general atmosphere and thought it provided good entertainment.

The games is this series get better and better, this latest installment is a top class game that I can only wholeheartedly recommend.
4 play modes, real actors, excellent voice overs, movie like intro, good strategy guide and help button, top level, sharp graphics with tons of detail. The hidden object scenes are interesting, the mini puzzles can be challenging. Fantastic interactive map with the option to re-play the videos. Welcome additions like collecting morphing creatures and having to find tokens to be able to buy objects at the dog shop. Finally, the game really wide screens beautifully.
This game has all that one could wish for: fun, entertainment, challenge, and all of it at such a level that you won't want to quit it for one second.
Mystery Trackers fans will not be disappointed and newcomers will fall in love with the series and will want to get the other games too.

This game is OK but nothing special with somewhat grainy graphics and not very clear sound. It has 4 play modes, one of which is custom, a good guide, a detailed map which you find whilst exploring the ship, an achievement section. You have to catch all hummingbirds and collect all beyond objects, so keep your eyes peeled as they are not so obvious and be fast for the humming birds. That part was fun. HOS can switch to Mahjong, mini games are on the easy side. Widescreens nicely.

My review is based on the demo.
You have to go back to your childhood summer camp in order to remember the facts that happened at the time and cure a bad case of insomnia.
Gloomy atmosphere with music that matches the general overall feeling. Good and detailed graphics, good sound, real actors, hint button recharges fast in normal mode, some inventory objects work in pairs therefore are locked unless the two parts are found. Interactive map, trophy section. HOG's are fine, a lot of the objects require several steps to find, mini puzzles are fine, skip button is available within seconds in normal mode. I haven't tried the other modes.
Pity that the game doesn't really full screen on my machine.
All in all a good game, though not the best I have seen. I will not get the collector but I might consider getting the standard edition. Just personal taste.

As a lover of the Dark Parables series I immediately got addicted to this game. As usual, this dev produces high quality work that gives real enjoyment to the player. The game widescreens nicely, 3 difficulty modes, superbly sharp and detailed graphics, good voice overs, excellent movie-like intro. Fairy tale story line based on Red Riding Hood, but with a twist. I like having to find the cursed objects, the map and task list are useful. I look forward to discovering the bonus games. It's a definite buy for me.
