The Graphics were very good...some were probably recycled but edited, but overall I was happy with the apparent effort to produce graphics that at least appear new (which makes it enjoyable). I enjoyed the 60 minutes, although I always hesitate to buy a Collector's Edition, only to find out later all the effort went into that 60 minutes more that the Game I may Purchase.... I liked the story, it was pretty good and not as stupid (what I determine as) as some of the other stories in some games....I haven't decided if I will buy this CE yet...I have to think about it....12.99 is a lot of money, and I think it over, as to whether I will wait for SE....I probably will buy one of the Versions of this game !!!
I recommend this game!

There is just too much backtracking with this game....it seems this developers use this a lot to try and prolong a not so long or great game....But my hand gets tired and my brain is annoyed with all the circular running around...I like a game to be challenging but for different reasons....A reason to return to a certain location other than just backtracking to use up the trial Hour....Don't get enough enjoyable play or feeling for the story....My hand gets tired of clicking on my trackball.
I don't recommend this game.

The free 60 Minutes was excessively running you all over the place to find things...I wasn't impressed with this...I thought the Storyline was stupid...and you were so busy trying to move around in the game trial, who could really follow the story anyway....I don't know, maybe younger kids (girls) might like it (I don't think boys would--all about fairies)...I definitely wouldn't buy collectors edition, but I won' t even buy the standard edition when it comes out....don't think it is even worth that cost for me!!!
I don't recommend this game.

Too much running around for the 60 Minute trial...Yes, the graphics were good, but I thought the storyline stupid(insipid)...Maybe I am just too old for this...I get tired of the 60 minute trials just running you in circles, which is NOT a reason to buy the game for 13.99.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't recommend this game.

This is one of the better games I have played...the Graphics were good, I liked the storyline, and there were Hidden Objects that were reasonable to find, not impossible, and were not weird renditions of whatever the developer felt like maing in HO...I realized after playing the 1st hour, I wanted to buy the Collector's Edition...Also that Bonus content (i.e. additional hidden object play) made it well worthwhile....My high reviews were consistent with th other high reviews I read....This was worth the CE price....for me.!!!
I recommend this game!

I tried this game for the 60 minutes, and it spent so much time running in circles, I couldn't even focus on the storyline (which was pretty stupid anyway)....Yes, they used more color in the graphics, but the hidden object scenes had a lot of hidden objects that didn't even resemble the actual object much.....which is a BF method, either they do the objects in so much grey or they make some stupid drawing that looks nothing like an object that we see....I don't know...if you want this, wait for SE....for me, I won't even be buying that version!!!
I don't recommend this game.

Forbidden Secrets: Alien Town
Investigate strange goings-on in the eerie town of Fort Nightingale!
I enjoyed the storyline, a bit different from others, a little bizarre, but I like Aliens....I Waited for the Standard Version. The mini-games were FUN....AND it did not USE A TON OF GREY or Washed out Graphics to hide the Hidden Objects....I hate it when BF developers RELY on putting a lot of stuff in Grey just to make it hard...I think it takes more Skill to develop a good game with HO that are "HIDDEN" not just greyed and stuck in with a ton of other Grey background--that is a cheap way to quickly write a HO game.....And the game wasn't too hard, when they are too hard I get really frustrated and probably won't buy it...I am not interested in CE unless it is EXTREMELY unique and NEW graphics...not ALL of it RECYCLED from another game or time....
I recommend this game!

I waited for this to come out in Standard Version before I bought it...it had such good reviews...Well, I just spent a Saturday afternoon playing it and I thought it was TEDIOUS & Boring....They used a lot of Grey graphics again on the hidden object seens, and I think that is a lazy and cheap way to put in hidden objects...And the objects didn't even match the panel pictures of them in the panel....the ones in the game were "darkened" much of the time to make it harder to find the; a cheap way to not get creative...I am sorry I even paid for the Standard version...I only played this through because I paid for it....I was stupid.
I don't recommend this game.

I waited until this game came out to buy the regular edition....I am finding that many games just aren't worth the Collectors price. I enjoyed this game though for what it was worth....The graphics were very good, and not too gray which makes the Hidden object searches a little easier and less boring....the story was a little insipid...But overall it was worth the Standard price, and I had a coupon.... But just because the graphics were good doesn't mean they should recylce them Ad Nauseum in the next games...BFG or who ever does the software needs to ensure graphics change somewhat from game to game.
