Excellent game! Many hours of play, good story, quality sounds and visuals, a superb navigation feature, and full of puzzles.
The navigation feature I loved was the curser identifying the active scenes with a name, like "Fireplace Mantel" and "Plaque." That really cut down on clicking the same scene several times because you're not sure if it's the one you just looked at or a different scene right next to it. All games should have this feature!
Also liked:
- Scenes closed when completed
- Not too many HOs. Some were a little dark, but not bad.
- Good interactive map that indicated where something still must be done
- Fun puzzles that were usually easy, but a few were quite challenging. At the end of my life, I'm not sure if the 2 days I spent determined to solve one of the door lock puzzles will seem like a good decision, but what a sense of accomplishment when I finally got it!
I played the first game in the series "The Bride" which was fun, but not as good as this one. I suggest playing "The Bride" first just to have the whole story, although you certainly don't need to play the first game in order to thoroughly enjoy this game.
Really an excellent, well-made, fun game!
I recommend this game!

I liked this game! It seemed very long, I played for a lot of hours, and the story kept my interest. It did not have any HOs, but I didn't miss them. The puzzles were fun and easy until near the end of the game when they got a bit trickier. The hint button was nice for checking if there was anything left to be done at a location. One useful tip: There is nothing to be done with the ring on the dead guy's hand. I checked that ring way too many times! The ending was a bit abrupt which was a little disappointing, but overall this game was well designed and fun to play.
I recommend this game!

This is a great game! I just completed the Standard Edition and thought the game was fun, creepy, lengthy, and very well made; a solid 4.5 rating.
The story was very interesting and engaging, and the play and visual effects were excellent. I had a lot of fun playing it and appreciated all of the following that make a game fun for me:
- 3 levels of difficulty. I played "Normal" which had a faster Hint Button recharge.
- Good graphics, soundtrack, and voiceover
- Map showing stuff to be done (only used it a couple of times)
- Hint Button: Very helpful for checking if anything was left to do in a scene. In fact, my only minor complaint about the game was rechecking scenes for things to do. However, once I started using the Hint Button ("There is nothing to do here now.") it was no longer an issue.
- Innovative "tools" to collect and figure out how to use later in the game
- Not too many HOs, not too dark, and included objects that needed manipulating and objects needed to move the play forward
- Mini games were easy, but fun
- Excellent length, had fun playing it for days
I know this sounds weird, but I also liked all the rats! I hate rats, but they made for a lot of creepy fun. By the end of the game, I was even giving them a nudge once in awhile to see them run. lol! This is a quality game, I do not have any hesitations recommending it. Thank you, Blue Tea Games.
I recommend this game!

This game was not good. It had dark HOs with impossible things to find. Each time I used the Hint, I was amazed something was actually in the circle it indicated. After blindly clicking around in the circle, something would eventually disappear from the list.
As for the puzzles, as mentioned by other reviewers, the game had to walk you through them because there was not enough information to solve them. However the puzzles were a bit unusual and feel of the game was interesting enough that I could have forgiven these problems until the game just abruptly ended after a few hours of playing. It was so weird; the story felt like it was just getting started, there was no conclusion, and suddenly the credits started rolling! I've never been so annoyed after playing a game. It was way too short to be a stand alone game, which made it particularly annoying that I took the time to "be shown" how to find all the objects and solve all of the puzzles.
I don't recommend this game.
