Mostly an adventure game. Wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be, but still a very good game. Options include regular or expert mode and choosing snow – don’t know what snow is supposed to do, but there is no difference with my screen whether or not I’ve opted for snow. You have a device for assembling interesting-looking inventions to use after collecting its components. Collect 33 rose petals – rose glows whenever there are petals in the location; rose also unfreezes water. You’ll also need them for the end of the game.
Storyline flowed smoothly and didn’t rely on HOS and puzzles to fill gaps. Instructions for the interesting mix of puzzles weren’t always that informative – were along the lines of “put things in order.” Some puzzles made you feel smart if you solved them – you might know what is needed to solve them, but then you actually had to figure out how to do it. Plenty of locations to explore and things to do to keep your interest. Ending was different than expected. Took a little over 6 hours casual.
I recommend this game!

Super Granny 6
As Super Granny enjoys a relaxing picnic with her furry companions, one of her precious kitties wanders off must be saved!
The Supergranny games were the first time management games I played and it hooked me on them. She is a funny, quirky character. I never get tired of her. The bad guys come in a variety of flavors.
Several types of environments in this game and about 150 levels. I think the variety in the types of bad guys and layouts keeps the game fresh for me. Sometimes it's very challenging bringing in a majority of cats to home - especially when there's always one who apparently has arthritis or likes to just dwaddle.
Some levels have obstacles that make it more difficult. But I like that variety. Timing can be everything. If the game wasn't so long, I'd like to sometimes see how long I can play without losing more than one or two grannies.
I recommend this game!

Super Granny Winter Wonderland
Super Granny's ski resort vacation is cut short when her kitties go missing. Help her rescue Granny's kitties.
This is a shorter game than the others - but still worth the price. Can't help slipping and sliding about on the ice - I like new challenges - while trying to rescue the kitties. Why does one always seem to lag way behind the others - maybe it's arthritic!
The bad guys are new. so you have to figure out how to outwit them. Don't get discouraged if you keep getting killed - just keep trying. Eventually you'll feel like a smarty when you succeed a new level. And just because one level if very difficult doesn't necessarily the next level will be just as hard; the difficulty seems to be randomized.
Listening to Granny is always a delight and her games are so entertaining.

Granny in Paradise
Granny and her kitties have earned a vacation so it's off to paradise for a relaxing break!
I'd love to be as active as Granny. Love the games - never get tired of them. Artistic graphics and gameplay - each level is a different type of challenge - some can be quite difficult. Of course, the more I play, the easier some of those levels become. I can't believe how many expletives I've used in learning the quirks of the various bad guys or avoiding some types of traps. A couple still get to me. But if it was that easy, what's the purpose of playing. So I kept on trying until I finally got it. I felt quite smart then.
Love listening to Granny's comments - some are absolutely hilarious. Colorful, entertaining, oodles of levels and simply funtastic. She's one of the most beloved characters in my mind.
I recommend this game!

Gardenscapes: Mansion Makeover™
Welcome back to Gardenscapes! Turn the hall into a masterpiece!
Like Austin's banter - he adds a lot to the game. There are a lot of reviews, so I'm sure all's been said. This is just a delightful game to play for young and old and in-between. And it's fun to keep changing to decor.
I love the Farm Frenzy games - never get tired of them no matter how often I play. This is very similar except you are farming fish. The music lets you know when the nasty predator is coming in. As for the pelicans - well you can see them.
You have to watch your timing to get your goods from the farmland and to make ingredients to use and finished products to sell. You also have to determine whether it's more important to have fast transportation or upgraded factories. Don't get overwhelmed if you can't beat the timer for some time - it took me some time and now I'm pretty good at it. Though there are still some tough levels. So keep at it. I'm glad I did.
I just love the Farm Frenzy games - I never get tired of them, no matter how often I play. When I first started playing Farm Frenzy, took forever to learn when the bears were going to fall (hint: shadows) so I stopped losing animals unnecessarily. Also took forever to learn how to complete some levels in time; had to weight whether it was transportation or building upgrades that were the most helpful. Now I can complete and get gold on most levels the first time around.
The animals and products are different for each game. Love the ostriches and their gowns in this one. Also like that you can repeat levels until you get silver or gold. IF YOU FIND IT TOO DIFFICULT, just keep at it. It is so satisfying when you finally beat a level that you were having trouble with. If it was so easy to beat the timer each level, there's no reason to buy the game, is there. Unless you don't like a challenge.
Love the game - no matter how often I play the Farm Frenzy games, I never get tired of them. Each game has its own products, animals, villians, achievements. Earn money to upgrade your buildings or transportation. Endless mode is just that - endless. Lots of levels - you can replay until you get gold. Click on the animals engaged in various antics when they pop-up.
Took awhile to determine when the villian bears were dropping in (hint: slight shadows) so I didn't lose as many animals. Also took awhile to determine what upgrades were more important and the best timing to fetch input products and processing them. But now I can get gold on most levels the first time around and can keep trying on those I miss.
So IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THE TIME, JUST KEEP TRYING AND don't forget to analyze if a specific upgrade or change in processing might help you.
Love all the Farm Frenzy games; I never get tired of playing them. This is one of the first that I got and I've played it numerous times - so you'd think I'd know the pizza recipes by heart now. Hah! Took me forever to determine when the villians would fall from the sky.
You can replay levels until you earn gold for that achievement. The endless mode starts out slow (you can only capture the bears at first and buy things) but gains momentum. Graphics are nice and gleeful. Like how you can weigh the consequences of upgrading buildings or transportation. Each game has different products, animals and villians and achievements to keep it interesting.
I never get tired of the Farm Frenzy games. The variety of animals in each game varies, which keeps it interesting in a new way. Love capturing and dressing up the bears. Love building the Christmas trees. Love the endless game (though it is rather slow at first). Like that you can replay individual levels once you've finished all of them to try for gold. There are a few where it takes patience and knowledge - but I've gotten all gold several times now (but it doesn't mean I'll get them the first time on the next time I play).
Graphics are very good and gleeful. Like how you can buy improvements for your buildings and transportation. Challenge to determine what's the most beneficial at the time. Great to play with the kids (though they'll find some levels very, very difficult).
