Well I must say that Crime Line is much different from the typical hidden object game. There are 12 different murders that you have to solve one by one, each murder is unique. By reading the witness statements, you have to find the correct objects to which they are hinting to e.g typewriter or mobile phone etc. Each murder has different scenes that you can visit as you speak to different witnesses. When you have all the information that has been given and collected you then have to deduce who the murderer is. At the end of each murder you are then ranked; the more objects that you correctly choose the higher your rank will be. This is a nice game to pass the time away.
I bought this game for a change of pace and im pleased I did. Since buying it I have never played a game over and over again and never get bored or sick. The designers have created a game that combines HOS and IHOS. What I found interesting was the fact you have to go around the different places and with your scent collector, collect the different scents to create different potions. Find out who has been killing the different classes of women in Paris and why and play the murderer at his own game. I can honestly say that there is nothing that I don't like about this game. I would deffinatly recommend that you give this game a go.

After reading the reviews i decided to give the game a try; and im pleased i did. The mini games all vary and with varing difficulties. The HOS were very clear and i didnt need to use any hints. You can use a map to get around the different areas and will have an exclamation mark if things can be done in that particular scene. The story line is consistent all the way through. I would deffinatly recommend this game to everyone!
As I didnt play the demo I didnt realise just how short the game was. The well seasoned player will finish the game in no time, but still its a good game non the less. The graphics are crisp and clear and so are the HOS. The story is based on one single principal as the title suggests. The mini games are varied as is the levels of difficulty. On casual/regular mode the hints system fills up pretty quickly as does the skip button. Should you get stuck the hint button will help on where to go next too, though the game is pretty linear. Worth the money for a short, simple and sweet game.
I cannot compare the first Redrum to the second as I have not played the first. However as my title review says the game is rather weird. There are not many HOS but quite a few of HOP which as the first time playing HOP I found it to be a refreshing change. The HOS are pretty clear although the puzzle games got a bit repetative after a while. The theme of the game is a little dark as its based on nightmares though it is not scary at all......just a little weird. Although the game comes with a warning, adults playing this shouldnt be affected though I wouldnt recommed letting youngsters play the game.
As i loved playing the first game i was pleased to see that they had brought out a second House of 1000 Doors. The game itself is much like the first one as far as the different locations are concerned and one or two familiar faces have returned too. The storyline is consistent, the HOS are clear and the puzzles vary. Heres hoping they make this game a trilogy!
A murder mystery and a love story in one. I thourghly enjoyed this game as the designers have come up with a game thats almost everything rolled into one. You have a murder mystery, a love story, HOS and a nice variety of puzzles. And there aint many games like this out there that i know of.
As with most games now it seems that designers have jumped on the bandwagon as far as the opening scenes go i.e a stormy night. I played the game in casual mode and found that the hint and skip system filled at a moderate speed, though there is not much need to use them during game play. There is not much tooing and froing as the game seems to be seperated into the different areas. The HOS were pretty clear though i found that some of the objects were a little too small so i had to use a hint on a few occasions(considering i also wear glasses too). There dont seem to be many puzzles at all through the game but the ones they do have are not too difficult and also vary. The storyline itself is consistent all the way through and the plot unravels quite nicely at the end as the story is concluded.
The opening cut scene sets the atmosphere for the rest of the game, which is rather creepy. During game play i found that the HOS were very clear but without making them too easy. In regular/casual mode the hint and skip button recharges rather quickly. I also found that the puzzles varied throughout and were for all skill levels. The music only adds to the already creepy atmosphere and is guarenteed a fright or two in certain places with a very suprising twist at the end. It is certainly a game that i would'nt mind playing again.
The game itself was pretty good though there are better games out there. The HOS were pretty clear and not too clutterd, The storyline is similar to other games that ive played and you can pretty much guess what happens next. Though the crypt scene game me a bit of a jump :D
