I really am enjoying this game! Once I tried the demo, I knew it was a definite purchase with the colorful, beautifully whimsical graphics, storyline and the level of play was relaxing. The last thing I want to do is be stressed out by time & challenges on games some days so this was a perfect pick for me!
I love this game and purchased it right after my demo was over.
I found it to be relaxing, fun with many different things to do, such as find the charms, collect crystals all while upgrading Avitus's house. You could use your points collected to set off fireworks and with so much going on, colorful graphics, upbeat music, this will make my Sunday before heading back to work, a fun day!
I really enjoyed the demo of this game so much that I am getting it! Lots of Hidden Object scenes and although they were not interactive, they really put me to work trying to find the items...much more fun and rewarding for me. It was challenging but not over the top, the mini games were good and not too hard so I got frustrated into skipping them and I loved Black & Vida! His comments were entertaining and I kept poking him just to amuse myself. The game intrigued me enough and kept me busy so I can't wait to continue on whether or not I find the princess!
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
Based on the demo only, I will definitely be purchasing this game! I enjoyed the 13th Skull and this one has a newer more exciting take on the HO scenes, beautiful areas to explore and I thought Lea Thompson did a great job, she was a hoot not to mention "The Ghost Patrol".
This was an instant buy for me as all ERS games are.
I loved it and didn't realize until an hour through that I haven't come across any hidden object scenes. I love the hidden object scene aspect of any game and I am usually put off a game when I read the reviews and find out there aren't any or very few but this was so intriguing, I actually didn't notice! I will have to look into purchasing Penumbra now.
The game was beautiful to look at and navigate through and I really enjoyed the fact that I could figure where to go and what to do next without being totally frustrated and needing to use the guide. The mini-games were great as well...I wasn't getting annoyed trying to figure them out or doing laundry while waiting for the skip button.
Best part was the holigram cat helper but I am a sucker for any animals in games and have made a few purchases based on that alone (Elf the dog)!
The storyline is creepy, ghoulish and so much fun. I realize it's not for everyone but I do a happy dance when I see ERS has another scary game out. #Should I be worried about myself? :-)
