I finally decided to investigate this game, not expecting toooo much, but I loved it. It is cute, the music is pleasant, & the bugs squeal, ? with delight when you hit them with a matching colour, by sometimes grabbing them & matching the colour or by using the colour bug given to you .This varies from level to level.
When you complete a level you are applauded by the Bugs, which is nice (to be appreciated ! :) )
You pick an island to play - not quite sure about how that works. There is a bit of a story, I think, but I gave up & skipped the storylines.
There are puzzle levels for bonus points, which unless I am a bit vague, takes a few times to work out how to do it, but I perservere, or you can skip them.
There are all sorts of weapons or power ups you can get to assist you, especially in some of the more challenging levels, which can be 2 or 3 lines or circles @ once.
There are superbugs to collect & magic hats, all of which give you more points, but they do disappear if you aren't quick enough, or bugs are in the way.
Yes the graphics are cartoonish/cute, & of course the bugs are doing the dance, & somersaulting etc, but it is fun, if you enjoy Poppers & want something cheerful & bright, but you do have to be mostly strategic in the puzzles .
I immediately bought this after the trial.
I recommend this game!

I came across this game & thought it looked a bit simplistic, then read the reviews, & decided to give it a go & see if it was ALL that bad!!!
I am so glad I did. Maybe the earlier reviewers didn't read or quite understand the rules, which took me a minute or 2 to realize it is similar to Jurassic & Dynasty as far as grabbing the balls to shoot. So you don't need to see the colour of the ball to shoot, as you have chosen the ball colour to shoot @ a group of @ least 3 balls. If you think ahead you can choose colour of balls to cause a chain reaction, as in Luxor & similar, which of course help you greatly. This will also aid in how many odd balls are left @ end of each level & therefore the amount of coins you get bombarded with.
It is a Pirate/treasure type of story, you meet different characters & can communicate with them, which aids as the storyline. The conversations are a little humourous & Pirate type language, but give clues as to your next goal etc.
The graphics are a bit symbolic, like pre mentioned games, but does the job. Music is different.
You have to click on the Galleon to play, & you travel to different type regions, with the hazards to match.
You can earn different medals @ end of each level - in demo hour, I gained about 8 Gold & 1 Silver & mostly beat the time allowed - I must be getting better in my old age :) !!
The coins can be used in shop for more powerups - eg mega cannonball etc. There are bonuses to be clicked on during game (if lucky) like in Fairway, plus lightning, fire or ice storms etc & usual powerups & a fun Armada shootup as in Plumeboom every so many levels for bonus points. The bought P Ups are @ bottom of page to use when needed, but I didn't need them during demo.
You can replay levels, if desired.
There are plenty of question marks & exclamation marks you click on, (on the screen @ times) to aid in your understanding of the game.
It was such fun, I immediately bought this.
Big Fish help! - I am running out of Poppers!!!! :)
I recommend this game!

Another smashing walls game with a quite interesting storyline. You are given an airship to travel to different countries, all with their own effects, & things to look out for & fortresses to be destroyed. The quest is to rid the world of Enigmatic Constants - if you know what that is!!! :)
There is a jade dragon that you find & insert scales to. This is part of a mystery to be discovered.
If you should find treasure, that will finish the level & give double points.
There are the usual different types of weapons, & power ups to be caught, which are quite spectacular in comparison to other smashing games.
There are too many to mention, ie lanterns, manhole covers etc that rapidly change the balls. You really need to be ready, as you never know what form they will reappear in or where, or how many. There can be all sizes, coloured balls all @ the same time. It is quite a fast moving game.
There are all sorts of effects including fireworks
A bonus level will suddenly appear during your game/level & then return to game where you were interrupted.
There is a clue for each level @ bottom of page.
Mouse or keyboard can be used.
Music I hardly noticed, or the sound effects - maybe I was too busy!
The cursor is a bit touchy, but sensitivity apparently can be altered .
I immediately got this game when the trial was up.
I recommend this game!

I am so happy I found this game - really enjoyed it, although it certainly could have been longer - maybe with the next version....???! - BF are you listening?
It would have been nice to have a few more decorating choices, as previously mentioned.
The best thing for me, was that it was also a HOG, & not a time management etc .game & the graphics were realistic.
BF we need more like this, & continuation to Florida or anywhere.
I recommend this game!

I thought I was fairly capable & decided to give the demo a trial, despite reading the reviews, especially regarding the instructions. I studied the few instructions & thought that was fine, I can do that, BUT, despite trying everything, it became hopeless - whilst you are getting matches on one side of the board, the other is filling up & you end not being able to move anything, & with no help such as bombs or being able to match anything, that's it! I did get a lawn, but it nearly drove me insane, & I am pretty good @ perservereing, & usually pretty determined & competitive. I have to give up! = deleted.
I don't recommend this game.

Another Xmas puzzle, match 3 game. Much the same as puzzle # 1, except this one decorates inside the home, & the original game, decorated outside.
The graphics are pleasant, the cupcakes make me hungry!!!
This has same graphic items to match with a couple of variations, so it will be a bit of "dejavu", for players of the 1st puzzle. Still has the same hammer, which becomes active with good matches, crackers that clear diagonally etc.
There are iceblocks & others to clear, & you have to get coins to the bottom of the screen.
The coins you get, can be spent on decorations, fireplace, fire, tree & more. That's all I learned from the hour alotted.
Another attractive game for this time of the year.
I recommend this game!

Well this is certainly a nice, change from the usual match 3.There is a token type of story line, in as much as you can play quest, which means you Island hop, but otherwise I don't quite know what we are achieving apart from the highest score you can achieve in set time allowed for each level. The Global scores don't come up, & yet at end of each level, your choice seems to be submit, Globally. Couldn't find my score otherwise, except for level best time, which I could thankfully try & improve upon, as many times as I wished.
There is also an Arcade option which somehow unlocks the other Islands in Quest, which I did (once) but not sure how!
Options for music (quaint) & sound effects.
You have to give a bit of thought to this game, as arrows (on the game screen) are used with help of your mouse, or you can use keyboard arrows, to move the different, colourful, fruits between pipes etc to match 3. Once you can get a bit of rhythm it can be more fun, but a couple of levels can really test your problem solving brain cells!! I decided to retire after a few levels on the 2nd Island, to write this (that's my excuse!)
If you want something different, & feel you are good @ this sort of thing, then go for it.
I recommend trying this game.
I recommend this game!

I am eeexhausted!!!!!
I can't believe this could be geared towards to children, as the story & graphics would suggest.
After reading the previous reviews, I thought I would have to see what it was about.
Basically it is a match 3, but it is pretty fast, & altho' in my fairly fast 70 +yrs of age & experience, I was puffing, just trying to keep up. It took much reading of the rules to check what I was trying to do, & just got the hang of (some) of it when the time finished @ Lvl 1-6. So I will never know how much better I may have gotten, as I am not going to buy this.
This is not to say that I wouldn't recommend it, but only if you think you have what it takes, & can play almost @ the speed of light!!!!! :-) - perhaps not quite that fast!!
Why not give it a go.
I recommend this game!

I was wondering whether to try this game, what with the previous review & seeing the graphics etc. But I am so glad I did try it.
Yes the graphics are simple, but do the job, & if you are in the festive time of year, this is great to get you in the mood, & if you are in the midst of a summer heatwave, this will make you feel nice & cool !!! - the colours are soothing, & the snowflakes which fall continuously.
This is a ball & brick/iceblocks type of game, & it took me a few minutes to adjust to the free/speed of the ball.
I loved the chime type Xmas music, which did actually pause from time to time, so you get a bit of respite if needed.
The sound effects are delightful eg reindeer snort, when you lose a ball/life, the ice cracking etc.
There are the usual slow, very fast, extra balls, size of candy sticks/bar etc, & many coins to catch when you hit a snowflake in a cube, this can get rather busy at times. Then there are the gifts which open & later release a gift all of which you need to catch to add to your score.
That was as far as I have played & the hour is not up.
If you want to relax - especially @ Xmas or in a heatwave, then this is for you. In spite of the simple graphics, I really enjoyed this game & it certainly kept me focused!!!!
I recommend this game!

This a brand new game & it really caught my eye, so I immediately played the trial & loved it - the music is enjoyable & not distracting, the clink/tinkle when you achieve your level goal, the cuteish, lovely graphics, & the variety of games ie cards, find the missing jewels etc (only got to the next story level in the hour)
This is a slightly different match 3, as I found I needed to take my time & think about my moves, so decided to quit the timed version for the untimed!
Each level gives you goals to achieve, like coloured tiles, moving keys to the locks etc
You also get character assistants, which you can choose from, as you gain them, each level & the rules will tell you what they do & how to best use them.
The whole aim of the story is to get back the missing coloured tiles, which go into a treasure chest each level & when you have enough you get to see the pretty, town, swamp etc come back to life.
There is also (apparently) a ladybird which you don't want to let free, or she causes problems, amongst other obstacles etc.
There is also a help book @ top of screen.
I immediately went & bought this game after an hour
I recommend this game!
