I really liked this game after the one hour trial, so I bought it, but there wasn't much more than an hour left.
The graphics are excellent, especially the scenes that include water. Each scene is bright and pleasant.
Some of the hidden objects are easy, some are not. However the hints are almost limitless. In each scene you collect butterflies, each one represents a hint. At the beginning of each new scene you are awarded a hint. Plus you are given the opportunity to go to the butterfly farm to collect numerous butterflies.
It is a very relaxing game and I am going to recommend it. Just be aware that it may not be as long as you like.
I recommend this game!

My Beautiful Vacation
Play the role of Jack, the fun-loving teenager, and experience a Colorful Carnival! Travel with him to witness a new world!
*The music is irritating. I muted it after about 10 minutes of play.
*The graphics aren't too bad.
*I'm not quite sure what the story line is because I couldn't get beyond the first scene. You have to place objects in a picture for which there was no hint button. Across the top of the screen was a message "Locate objects concealed in the photo frame." Well, that wasn't accurate. You had to place objects in the photo, not locate objects. Anyway, after doing that, the message at the top never went away, so I could not continue with the game. I tried exiting and then reloading the game. I had to do the place the objects again and, again, the message at the top never went away.
Seriously, don't waste your time with this one.
I don't recommend this game.

Yard Sale Junkie
Help Shirley scour backyards for hidden objects and raise enough capital to open a Beverly Hills boutique.
If you like the dark stories where you keep retracing your steps hidden object games, then this is not for you.
This is bright with clear graphics and you go from one scene to the next -- all different.
You have to match what a customer wants to what you are selling. Sometimes you have to move an object to see another object. Though there is a timer, it just affects if you get bonus points.
There are variations in the different scenes on how you match the hidden objects, i.e. if a customer wants a pair of shoes (for which you see a picture), you might have to click on each individual shoe to make a pair.
You have to try it to see what I mean.
I recommend this game!

Hidden in Time: Mirror Mirror
Discover the history and unlock the true potential of a magically enchanted antique mirror in this great Hidden Object game.
As other reviewers have written, it is a simple and straightforward HOG. That is fine with me, because I love HOGs.
But this one got to be monotonous about halfway through. The story line was boring. The scenes were drab. I'm glad I paid only $2.99.
The hidden objects were repetitive. Many of the objects were featured is several rooms. Though others have found the graphics to be good, I did not. They weren't terrible, but I have seen much better and more realistic.
Again, it wasn't a bad game, and I am going to say I recommend it. If you want an easy game and just want to kick back and waste some time, this is the answer.

Defenders of Law
Your client is falsely accused of murder and only your keen eye for detail can find the evidence to bring the truth to light.
Some of the objects were distorted, especially at the bottom of the screen. There were no mini games to break the monotony. There were too many visits to the same room to collect the same objects. The story line was uninteresting.
I'm glad I got this during the BLOWOUT sale this past weekend so it only cost $2.99! There are much better games out there.
I don't recommend this game.

Love Story: Letters from the Past
Discover a wonderful Love Story in this fantastic Hidden Object game! Travel back in time and relive a beautiful tale.
I think this is my new favorite game. The graphics are bright and beautiful. You feel like you're in the house with Mary. The music is soothing. And the story is compelling, though guys probably wouldn't be interested.
Pluses: The game is quite long. The Hint button recharges quickly. Though a walkthrough is available, it is not needed. You don't keep visiting the same rooms.
It definitely would have been worth $9.99, but I got it with the $2.99 Blowout sale.
When I play it next time, I am going to spend more time admiring the scenes and rooms and furnishings.
I recommend this game!

Gardenscapes
Create the perfect garden! Comb the rooms of a mansion for hidden items and restore a once stunning garden to its former glory!
I was pleasantly surprised at the length of this game. The only criticism -- there were not enough rooms. You keep going back to the same rooms. But that is a minor drawback and don't let it stop you from trying/buying this game.
It is very interactive. Click on the dog and watch him do tricks. Click on Austin and see what he has to say. And it is something different every time. Click on the swan and Austin will feed him. Click on a butterfly or bird and it flies away. Click on anything and see what happens. And when it rains, watch puddles form.
The point of this game is to design a garden. You earn money by having garage sales. When you earn enough money, you can buy an item. If you want to change an item you bought, you can.
Excellent graphics. Relaxing. Made me smile several times.
I recommend this game!

Holly: A Christmas Tale Deluxe
Help Santa find the items he needs on Christmas Eve! Let Holly: A Christmas Tale fill you with the spirit of the season!
I played the one hour trial. Since I like anything Christmas, I thought the graphics were very good. The story line was simple, but nice. It actually uses the words Merry Christmas! That in itself was a treat.
I did not buy it for two reasons. 1. It is a timed game. Timed games are not relaxing for me. 2. You start off with three hints. You have to earn more hints by finding these obscure, unrecognizable leaves. Find 3 of them and you earn only 1 hint.
The mini puzzles that I played were very good, but, again, they were timed.
If you don't mind timed games or having to earn your hints, give it a try. But it's not for me.
I don't recommend this game.

Empress of the Deep 2: Song of the Blue Whale
Help Anna find her way to the mystical floating cloud city, seek out the Children of Light and save them from the Evil Empress!
The graphics are amazing. The Hint button in this game is one of the best. It offers the kind of help when you're stuck that you don't need the walkthrough.
When you have done everything there is to do in a scene, a message appears in the upper right corner -- "Area Complete" -- and remains for the entire game. So you know if you don't get that message there is still something to do in that scene.
It was longer than I thought it would be. What I thought was the end was actually only the halfway point.
Give this one a try. I think you'll be pleased.
I recommend this game!

Lost in the City: Post Scriptum
Help Hero and Ann wake up all of mankind in Lost in the City: Post Scriptum! Put an end to the curse and save the entire world!
I found this game to be addictive. And it was longer than most, which was a bonus. It was challenging but not impossible, like some. I used the walkthrough only twice.
It was an interesting story line. I often don't pay much attention to story lines, but this one had my interest.
The only drawback, the music at times can be repetitive and irritating. I suggest turning it off in the "Options" menu.
