Similar to the Roads of Rome and My Kingdom games, where you have specific tasks to do that require a bit of strategy to get a gold rating. You also fix up your villa with money you earn in levels, similar to Resue Team. I love that this game allows you to queue tasks. There are a few things that I don't like though: - no option to disable custom cursor, which makes the game drag slightly (on my computer) - no way to strategize before the timer starts, because you can't mouse over buildings to see what they are until you start the level - no way to mouse over buildings to see how much they produce (only the name of the building), which makes planning difficult - I found the graphics to be very busy, making it hard to spot items that need to be done/collected/fixed/etc.
Overall, it was a fun TM game that I will probably buy. More good TM games please, Big Fish!!
I recommend this game!

I really love games like this, and wish that Big Fish would put out more like it. This game has a ton of pictures to solve. But unlike the World Riddles series, which get progressively harder as you go along, these really don't. They do get larger, and having lots of colors in the pictures makes it a little challenging at first, but the puzzles have a lot of solid areas that are easy to figure out, so after you get the hang of how to play it, it's really more of a time killer than a real challenge. One thing that is unique to this game is the bonus rounds and arcade mode, where the rows and columns disappear when you solve them, and new ones take their place until you reach a certain level of gems.
I'm not sure why this is listed as a time management game, seems more like an arcade game. All you do is chop fish with by dragging your "knife" across the screen as they are flying by. The instructions pop up too quick to read, and the knife is touchy and hard to manage. Boring.
Definitely not for TM beginners. As another post mentioned, it is nearly impossible to get gold on the levels. 1) You have to be constantly clicking to speed up your workers (which is exhausting on the fingers!), and 2) they are always adding new goals in the middle of the level. The trick is to never let a worker stand still- ALWAYS have your workers collecting energy, materials, and gold, because you never know what you'll need. I think it's a pretty fun game for experienced TM gamers that want a challenge. The only part that I really dislike is the need to be clicking nonstop through the entire game.
As others have posted, this is really similar to the My Princess and Roads of Rome games. I LOVE that this game allows a multiple click option (so that you can click a bunch of things and your worker will do them in order, rather than having to wait until he gets back home to click the next item), BUT..... it appears there is no way to cancel your clicks. So if you click 5 things that you want your worker to do, and then realize you need him to do something else first, too bad... you have to just wait. It would also be nice to have it as an "option" rather than a "mode" so that you don't have to start the entire game over if you decide you do/don't want multiple clicking. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Game allows you to turn off the custom cursor, which is always a nice option so that older computers don't drag during play. Fun TM game!
Discover the fabulous secrets that a jungle hides in Adelantado Trilogy: Book One! Help the brave and noble officer, Don Diego De Leon, to find and save the lost expedition.
Despite all the great reviews, I was not impressed with this game at all. I played the trial in normal mode, and the entire game consisted of: messages telling me what to click on or "build", me clicking, and then waiting for my little dude to walk alllll the way across my screen and start working. I got through almost 1/3 of the game during the trial, and it didn't get more challenging at all, although I was able to make some decisions myself (but if I didn't, it still would instruct me what to do.) I can only hope that the hard/expert mode of the game requires some skill or strategy, because the normal mode was slow and B.O.R.I.N.G. I was really disappointed, because I love the similar "road" games that it seemed to modeled after (Roads of Rome, My Kingdom, etc.)
WOW- one of the worst time management games I've played. Poor graphics, and even after removing the custom cursor, the game dragged. Instructions are not clear on how to do upgrades, etc. Annoying that you have to continuously switch to different screens to see your animals. Cash that customers pay seems to disappear because a completely different number will be added to your bank. Don't waste your time.
Wow- really horrible time management game. There are no warning when the crops need water, apparently you're just supposed to know to water them as soon as you plant. Or you can mouse over them to see if they need water, but it takes so long for the text to pop up, they usually die before you read it. You do, however, get notification when it's time to harvest the crops, but the background and color choices make it impossible to see on some of the plots. The watering can is so small that it's impossible to see how many you have left, and if you run out, your crops will die in the 2 seconds it takes you to refill. Nothing tells you how much it will cost before you do it- planting crops, refilling water, etc. The buildings have to be clicked on at exactly the right spot, or they won't work. I could go on and on....
