I bought the CE version without playing the demo because I love this series so much, and boy, did I regret it! This version seems like a cheap knockoff. I would genuinely surprised if the same people developed this version as the previous versions. The text looks like it's been written by someone with English as a second language, which I don't remember being an issue in previous versions.
But the main problem of the game is that for experienced TM gamers, there is ZERO CHALLENGE. I got through the entire game with all 3 stars, never replaying a level, never even buying any of the bonus items! In previous versions, there would have been levels that you couldn't get through with any stars without those bonus items!
There seemed to be no strategy required at all for this versions. Just click stuff in order until you're done. SO disappointed in this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I love this series, so I was really excited to see a new one. I don't know if this one has been developed by a new designer or what, but it seems like a cheap knock-off. Even the storyline text seems like it was written either by someone with really poor grammar or English as a second language, which I don't remember being an issue in previous versions.
The levels in this one are WAY too easy. In previous versions, they were at least some levels that you would have to play over and over to get 3 stars. This one? Nope. I got 3 stars on all levels my first try. Boring!
Clicking is weird in this version. On certain items (especially when rescuing people), you have to click in *just* the right spot or it won't recognize your click. I found myself having to click over and over again to get the right spot. Really frustrating.
Overall, I'm really disappointed in this Rescue Team and sad that I spent the money on it.
I don't recommend this game.

I really liked this game. First TM game that I've purchased in a while. But there have been a couple things that I'd love some assistance with- like getting through a certain level with 3 stars or figuring out wth the library building is for. Normally, I go to the Big Fish Games forum, but there is none for this game- either the regular OR the CE! This is super frustrating and makes me with I hadn't purchased the game.
I don't recommend this game.

I love, love, love nonogram/mosaic puzzles! There are very few that are of good quality, though. With most, you end up having to guess a square or two, rather than using logic through the whole puzzle. I'm okay with a guess here and there, but this one? Good grief. I didn't even make it 5 minutes into the trial version before uninstalling because the entire board would have been guesses.
Another thing that I hated about this game is that there's no option to have it cross off all the unmarked spots in a row once you've marked all colored spots. You have to manually go through and right click all empty boxes on every.single.color. What a waste of time!!!
I don't recommend this game.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, there is guessing involved in some of the puzzles, which is really frustrating. The 2nd puzzle had one spot that had to be guessed. Not a big deal. And then I completed a whole bunch of puzzles with no guessing and thought maybe the other reviewers got it wrong. But then I got to the 17th puzzle, and probably 90% of the board would have been guesses. I also will not be finishing the demo. Completely pointless to play a logic game that you can't solve with logic.
And like others have said, the white numbers against the gray background is hard to see, especially once they've been crossed off. But my biggest problem with the numbers is that the font they used makes the number 1 look an awful lot like the number 7.
I don't recommend this game.

Why this is labeled as "free-to-play" instead of "free trial" is beyond me. You can only play the first room with 36 levels before having to pay real money to continue. NO, THANKS. It would be one thing if you could use your in-game earned coins to move up. The 20 minutes that I got to play was fun though. I do enjoy this type of game.

This game was really cute and fun, but the fact that you have to drag every single item ruins it for me. Drag the food from the oven to the plate, drag the add-on items to the plate one at a time, drag the food to the customer, repeat. And if you don't drag to the *exact* right spot, the item will slip back to where it was and you have to try again. What would make this game perfect would be a right-click option, at the very least to serve customers after you've prepared the food.
I don't recommend this game.

A slightly different version of Northern Tale. The way you build/upgrade buildings is different, although not necessarily better or worse. And unlike Northern Tale, this game doesn't allow a multitask/multiclick option. You have to wait until the workers are back at the base before you can assign another task, otherwise you get yelled at with, "There's a problem!" Equally annoying is the fact that the workers talk every.single.time you assign them a task. Shut up already and let me play the game!
What I like- a new TM game. There are never enough of them. I will probably buy this when there's a good sale. Overall, it is a fun game that requires a bit of strategy to get gold.
What I don't like-
- as previously mentioned, the horribly annoying commentary from workers that you can't shut off. For this reason alone, I'm giving it only 3 stars. That is how horrible the sounds are in this game.
- no multitask option
- hard to plan ahead. You can't mouse over items to see what is needed to complete them until you clear the path to them.
- you HAVE to read all the text when you "talk" to another player in the game, or you won't have a clue what task has been added, because they don't always add it to the task list at the bottom of the screen.
- if you want to switch modes (normal, hard, etc), you have to completely start the game over; you can't switch back and forth while playing.
I recommend this game!

I really liked Rescue Team 1 & 2 and have played them over and over, so I was excited to see a third. After playing the trial, I am really disappointed. Even with the 50% sale this weekend, I'm not buying it.
1) The graphics are fancier, which is nice to look at, but it also adds some lag to the game since there is no option to turn off the custom cursor.
2) The rescue team is suddenly creepy bad guys instead of good guys? What's up with that?
3) They added a new feature to this version, where you can "hire" your rescued villagers to run your buildings. I think you're supposed to get more supplies from them, but I never figured out exactly what the benefit is, and it was really more annoying than anything.
4) The workers wander aimlessly when not assigned to a task, rather than staying at home base. And now, instead of seeing how many workers you have available, you can only see how many villagers you have available for hire.
5) There's no house to repair with your earned cash from levels like there was in previous versions. (Which frankly, is fine with me. I never understood the point of those in TM games.)
I would still recommend Rescue Team 1 & 2 for a fun TM game, but definitely not the 3rd.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a really fun, new spin on TM games. One thing that I don't like is that every level has 2 or 3 parts to it, so if you mess up the last section of the level, you have to start all the way back at the beginning. I don't really understand why they are grouped like this either. It doesn't allow you to carry over time and/or resources into the next section of the level, which would make more sense. I also wish the game was longer, as I finished it in less than a day of casual playing.
I recommend this game!
