There is not a ghost's chance I would NOT play this game! I played the demo and LOVED this game and purchased it immediately! To me, this one of the BEST games from the "Fun Elephant."
The background is "creepy" involving some strange Hotel owners. Let's put it this way - I would never want to stay at this hotel - EVER! The storyline is excellent and keeps you engaged in the game. There is plenty of action in this game Just seeing the owner, Caroline (who has a strange taste in jewelry - Geesh is that key necklace big enough?) gave me an eerie feeling that this would be an awesome creepy, mysterious game.
The hidden object scenes and puzzles are well-crafted. The inventory is interactive. Instead of HOP scenes you can play a jigsaw puzzle instead. The HOP scenes are well-done. They are interactive and puzzle-like. Some are sequential where you must complete one action to before proceeding in the scene. The puzzles are not terribly difficult but more challenging than we have had in some time. I encountered an equal amount of puzzles and HOP scenes.
For those who love them - there are myriad of "goodies" in this game. You receive a MAP after you begin playing the game. You receive points within the game for activities. You collect a variety of items - Venetian masks, Gamers, Tourist attractions, and Sweet Tooth items. There are 10 achievements for you to collect. There are also morphing objects.
There are also some "Easter eggs" in this game. For example, if you click the picture in the bedroom - it changes into a storm scene. For a foreign developer, I was surprised to see American outlets!

I usually do not post here but this game is so good that I cannot help but try to emphasize how much BETTER this game is than the usual fare on this site! This is a masterpiece in my humble opinion. Keep up the good work, PixIES!

I would agree with others. This is another in the series of poor Sophia trying to reunite with her parents. This series has gone stale and to me, should be ended. Kinda like some TV series which don't know when to end. Same old fairy tale theme. The dragon is back in this game along with the owl. If you like fairytales and "cutesy" you will like this game. This game is very similar to the previous games. I see no improvement nor anything new at this point in the game. I played for 25 minutes and grew tired of the game. If you enjoyed the Awakening series, you will love this as it is a continuation of the same old style puzzles and HO scenes. I am tired of fairy dust and "cutesy." As another has said, this would be an excellent game for children but it more adult based. Again, this is a personal opinion. It is still a well constructed game, but be warned that it is full of pixie dust and cuteness.
I recommend this game!

I felt that this was a fairly decent game but the music is very depressing as well as the storyline. I felt that this game was the best in the series so far. On my computer the graphics were slightly fuzzy but beautifully drawn. It could just be my computer. There are some new puzzles in this game. I really enjoyed the feather puzzle which is the only puzzle I was able to play in the game. It was unique twist on a pattern puzzle. Generally I would recommend this game.

This was released probably 8 to 10 years ago, I believe. I absolutely loved this game when it was first introduced. It is a very long game with challenging puzzles. However, the graphics are beautiful. Back then you had to purchase a hint book to play the game and if you got stuck there was no one to help you or any blogs or websites to help you in your quest. This is a favorite game for me. I remember looking forward to its release. If you like adventure games, you will love this game. This is not a HOG game, so be warned. It is strictly adventure. I liked this Siberia game better than the first. The only thing I disliked was that the girl never had a change of outfit for the whole game and she takes quite a long trip. Enjoy!

Another great game by the dev. This is a sci fi game which we have not seen for awhile. The graphics are exceptional and the characters are lifelike. The HOG scenes are easy but you need to move things or combine things to solve them. Also, the puzzles are relatively easy as well. Well crafted
I recommend this game!

Beta tested this game a few months ago and have waited for it to come out. Excellent game. Similar to the other Echoes of the Past games we have seen in the past. This is more of an adventure game, so if you like HOG games, you probably won't like this game. Yes, it is similar to CEs we have had in the past. There are 3 levels, but the advanced level does not give you any hints or help at all so be warned. The puzzles are slightly different although you will find some familiarity in the types of puzzles offered. The only thing I did not like was the inventory bar at the top instead of at the bottom. Very few games have the bar at the top, so it took some getting used to. The music is identical to the other games from Orneon. The graphics are beautiful and there is voice which you would expect in a CE. You need to collect gems to defeat an evil queen. Nothing really different on the themes we have experienced in the games. Very easy to navigate. For me, a winner and a probable purchase due to the fact I have been looking for a great game to play and it is an adventure game.
I recommend this game!

Sorry couldn't get into the "spirit" for playing this game. Dreadful. Actually I live in the same area as the original ghostbuster, who was the inspiration and consultant for the series. I think she and Jennifer Love Hewitt would enter the spirit world themselves if they saw this game. The show has not been on the air for at least 2 years so it is now on reruns which makes it slightly dated. And this game is poorly constructed. The graphics are horrible, basically cut out characters. There is no voice. There is not a journal nor a diary to follow on the game. The puzzles are very easy and the objects needed to use in the puzzles practically jump out at you. I chose the harder mode and even that was very easy. In comparison with the recent HOG adventure games we have had in the last few days, I give this one a zero. It just doesn't have a "ghost" of a chance in my world.
I don't recommend this game.

Wow! I wanted to wait until I had actually played half of the game. The game has a combination of HOG scenes and puzzles. There are also puzzles within the HOG scenes. The HOG scenes are not the normal ones we have had in the past. They are challenging and you need to think about where items are located. You also need to move things around and do puzzles to get some items. Innovative as to how it approaches HOG scenes. They are definitely not those which require you to search for tiny objects. Objects are hidden and require logic to locate them. The graphics to me were good, but somewhat cartoonish. The music was not annoying. There are two modes to play, but be warned that the Hard mode is difficult! Love this game. A very nice SE.

To me this is an average game.but worth the price. It deals with finding missing landmarks being taken by an evil magician. It is an SE. The characters are cartoonish. It has the appearance of a comic book. There is a variety of hidden object scenes, puzzles, and strategy. I found it a nice game. I have played the demo and will be purchasing it. Not certain on the length, but I believe it is a rather short game.
I recommend this game!
