The Surface series is one of the best series in the world. Everytime Elephant Games has some surprises prepared in this series and this game is definetly another hit game!
Let's start with the storyline. As in the other games you are part of a parnormal activity. You and your family want to travel by train. You arrive to late and your husband with your child drives away in the train. The train vanishes into a tunnel and it never comes out of it. It's simply gone missing. One year later you return to the tunnel and meet Dr. Bors. Together with him you learn how to recreate that day and that the missing train is only one of many events. You travel to another world where robots keep the humans. Now it's up to you to save your family and the others.
The graphics are amazing. They are so beautiful. Elephant graphics are always detailed, but in this game the colors and the atmosphere is like I said before amazing. The sounds are good too, like you would expect it. The music is great. An adventure theme, mixed with mystic. That fit's perfectly in the game. There are several different voice overs. They are clearly understandable and I didn't recognize any greater spelling errors.
The gameplay is good. I love the puzzles, because they are easy, but sometimes you have to puzzle a bit until you solved them. I like These mixed puzzles, because they're for everyone. Easy ones for beginners and the harder ones for advanced players. The Hidden Object Scenes are incredible easy. Elephant must work on Hidden Object Scenes in the future. Because of the easy HOS I rate the level of challenge a bit lower. As in the other Surface games you can collect flowers as you play and unlock chapters in the Pantheon. There you can replay every HOS and puzzles. That's a great idea!
The CE Comes with many extras. Like I wrote there's a bonus game and the Pantheon and then all the other CE extras. So afterall this game is as great as the other Surface games and I can't wait for the next one. Absolutly a buy for me and a five star game. Great job EG!

Ers Games Studios hinted at this game for such a long time, that I couldn't wait to play it. And the game is worth all the wait. After I was a bit dissapointed after Twilight Phenomena 2 Ers is back with another winner title now!
The storyline is quite unique and mystic. As you return home everything is strange. All inhabitants have been turned into figures, there are strange creatures and the two doves for two kingdoms have been stolen. An evil goblin, an intruging princess and her prince and many more characters await you. The past of the kingdom you get told by an artist, which appears several times in the game. I love the whole story. And in this game I like the cute animals, because they fit in the game.
The gameplay is good, but not as easy as in the previus Ers games. They made more difficould things in the game where you have to think a bit before you know what to do. The Hidden object scenes are difficould too. There are many different Hidden Object Scene types in the game. Some of them are very interactive. The puzzles are not very difficould. I didn't need to skip one. Maybe the puzzles should get more challenging in the future.
The characters are drawn and have voice overs. The voice overs match the character type everytime and the characters are great. You have two helpers. Your hint is an archer and a fairy can help you out if magic blocks your path somewhere. The look really magical. Same with the graphics. Mostly they are bright and beautiful with many details and things to look everywhere. But there are also some dark, but not creepy places.
The music is lovely. It gives the game a good atmosphere. Same with the sounds. Like in every Ers game they are clear and good. The only thing I don't like are those singing mushrooms. That's a bit strange for me.

You can earn achievements and collect some things for your fairy. You can play the game in three different modes and there are many extras. The Bonus game is long and on the same level as the main game is.
So afterall I would recommend this game to every fantasy game lover and it deserves surely 5 stars. Keep on the good work developners!

I'm a lover of the Eipix games, so I've been waiting for this one to come out, because the beta was amazing.
The storyline is amazing. It's based on true historical events. A pirate became hanged, because a baron is jealus of him. He found out, that his wife once belonged to the pirate. Now he thinks, that this relationsship isn't over and kidnapps a little Boy. You have to find the treasure now, where the baron hopes to find love letters from the pirate and his wife. You gather a cruel crew, which doesn't want that the baron gets the treasure of the hanged pirate, but you get a helpful hand to escape the ship. But then the adventure just started...
The graphics are perfect. They have many details and are not as dark as you would expect it. The atmosphere is great done, especially at the ship. There are drawn characters and voice overs. The voice overs are clear and fit into the game. One of the pirats has a nice voice, like you know it from a pirate in a movie. The Music is good too. A bit maritime and adventure mixed. Great done!
The level of challenge is good. The gameplay is good and easy. Sometimes you Need to think a bit, but I didn't get stuck while playing. The puzzles are great like in all the other Eipix games, but they are nearly the same puzzles again like in the other titles. There should be new puzzles in the next game. The Hidden Object Scenes are challenging, especially because there is a little object scene in a hidden object scene. For example a bunch of roses where you have to find some objects. After that the bunch of roses is found an dissapeares from the hidden objects list. So there's a challenge here.
The game has many achievements that you can earn, and it's not easy to get them all. You have to collect paper pieces while you play.
The CE has the normal Eipix extras.

So afterall this is another masterpiece for me and nearly the perfect game. Only the puzzles should get an update in the next Eipix game. But it's worth the money and for me a five star game! Nice job from the developner again!

I've loved the first part of this gorgeus series, so I couldn't wait for this game to be released! But this game is not as good as the first game in this series.
The storyline is great and mystic too. A professor and his four students are missing and you have to find them. Fast you get to know that they are all trapped in a maze and the water level is rising. There's also a mystery about the university and the maze, but I wouldn't want to spoil this. But the storyline is mystic and a mystery. I love it!
The graphics in this game are good. They have many details and look very real. Also they are not only dark and creepy, but they look like day in the fall. So great here. In the maze they are great too. I love the mystical glow everywhere. The characters are drawn, but they look like real persons. It's difficould to see that they're drawn. The music and the sounds are like in the other Daily Magic games. Clear and nice. No spelling errors are in the cutscenes and dialogues.
The level of challenge is not for me. The mini games and the gameplay are very easy. I didn't need to think for a long time and I didn't get stuck while playing. But the Hidden Object Scenes are good and not to easy. But the rest should be a bit more challenging and tricky. There are achievements to earn and many collectibles. But the collectibles are easy to find too. So I would recommend this game for beginner players. Even in the expert Mme the game is easy.
The CE has the normal extras as you expect them. So afterall this game is good for a relaxing day when you want to play an easy game. So I recommend this game for beginner players and for all the other players I rate this game with four stars. But it's better than Daily Magic's latest DD release, so they are heading into the right direction again.

My favourite developner Eipix is back with another masterpiece. When the intro starts it says "Once upon a time, in a village free of crime..." I love this beginning.
But now for the game:
The storyline is great! Your children Hansel & Gretel were kidnapped by an evil witch and there are evil gingerbread mans everywhere around you. Only one is not evil and helps you to find out what happened. Follow the clues to find your children, before it's to late. Some cutscenes were spoken in rhyme form. I really loved that.

The graphics are good! I love them so much, because they really remind me of the Drawn graphics. It looks like they were inspired by this series. The graphics give the game a dark, but somehow fairy tale atmosphere. The music is funny. I've never heard a soundtrack like this before in a game. The funny theme is mixed with adventure. I can't describe the music better. I think everyone has to hear it.

The Level of Challenge in this game is not as good as I expected. The gameplay is very easy and you can easily guess what you have to do next. The puzzles are mixed like I love it. Some are very easy, some are ok and some are quite a challenge. I think there are puzzles for everyone in this game. For beginner players and for experts too. The Hidden Object Scenes are easy to Play. Nothing really challenging. And there are no different types of HO's in the game.
There are collectibles: You have to find 40 cookies in the game. A few are difficould to find all the others aren't a challenge. Also there are achievements to earn and it's not easy to earn every achievement.

Afterall this game is quite another winner for me, but the level of challenge could be better. But the rest of the game is great and another "Well done!" to these devs! Everyone who likes fairy tale games will love this one for sure!

The first game in this series was a great adventure game. So I've been looking forward to the sequel.
The storyline is good. You are called, because your friend Mary went missing in Mexico during an experiment. Many DNA mixed creatures, a strange doctor and the monkey beast from the first game in this series await you. So the storyline ist quite ok, but it's a bit confusing, so I rate it with four out of five stars.

The sounds are great. I love them. They have a good Quality and are clear to understand. The game has some voice overs. They are good done and clearly to understand. But there were some spelling errors in them. The graphics are lovely. They look like you imagine Mexico. The animals are strange, but cool somehow too, because I love the idea of mixed animals like a catdragonfly and many more. So you can expect high quality here.

The Awakening series is one of the best. So I hoped for another great game, but it isn't as great as I thought.
Let's start with the storyline: Princess Sophia wants to awake her parents from an eternal slumber and travels into the sunhook spire. But an evil figure is behind her to fulfill his evil plans. Again an intresting storyline, but I didn't like it as much as the Story in the other games.
The gameplay is ok. You have lot of things to do and the Hidden Object Scenes are easy, with some interactive objects to find. There are different types of Hidden Object Scenes in the game. But there are minigames, minigames, minigames. Everywhere are so many puzzles and minigames. That's too much for me. Sometimes I got very bored, because there were one minigame after another. That's why I rated the fun factor with ok. The rest of the gameplay is ok. You have some morphing objects to find in each chapter and sometimes they are not easy to find.
The graphics are brilliant. They are beautiful hand drawn. The same for the characters. They make you feel, like you are in another world. And the owl and the pocket dragon are there again and the dragon has now more abilities. The voice overs are great too. There are many characters and everyone has a different voice over. They didn't use one voice twice.
The sounds and the music are as great as in the other Awakening games and fit perfectly into the games atmosphere. Nice job here.
But afterall the puzzles bored me sometimes and I can't rate this game with five stars because of that. But all other things are good done and you have many extras in the CE version. So this game is a worthly CE with four stars. And it's a good sequel to a great series. I hope to see another Awakening game next year.

The Echoes of the Past series is one of the best series for me. So this fifth installment was long awaited.
Let's start with the storyline. The storyline is like in the other games. The witch has another plan to rule the world and you are there to save the world and yourself. Again you need to find five medallions to do that. I like the story, but it feels like in every game there's the same story. That's why I have to rate the story lower than the rest.
The graphics are beautiful. Some are bright and some are dark and a bit creepy. But I really loved how many details these graphics had. Every place was full of things to see and the graphics were crystal-clear. The characters are like in the other games. They have good voice overs.
The sounds are as in the other Echoes of the Past games. So they're great. I really love them. The music has a bit more adventure themes in this game and I love this too. Just the right theme songs for this game.

Now to the best thing: This game is a challenging one. Not as easy as all the releases of the last weeks. In every scene you have many things to do and you cannot finish a scene fast. Often you have to play far further and then do a task in a scene from the beginning. There are also some inventory objects that stay there for a long time.
The Hidden Object Scenes are good too. You have many things to do in them and there are some different types of HOS in the game.
The puzzles are challenging. For me only four puzzles were easy to solve without reading the instrucktions. All the others were quite a challenge. That's really great done.
There are some achievements and 15 bottles to collect through the game. The achievements can be earned quite easy.
But a good level of challenge is not everything and because we get nearly the same story in every game I rate this game with four stars. But if I could it would be 4,5 out of 5 stars.

This game is from a developner, that usually stands for high quality entertainment gaming. They did it again this time, but not good as in their last games.

You are in Serpent Creek, because your friend Helen needs help with strage events going on there. Later in the game you'll get to know more details until you know what's going on in the town. So the story is good. I like these mystery storylines.
The gameplay is easy and there's nothing where you could get stuck, but some puzzles and some of the HO's are quite a challenge, so the level of challenge is ok, but for me as an advanced player too easy. Again: I miss the achievements here.
