I was getting somewhat tired of Ravenhearst so this is a different story with some interesting puzzles. Graphics are not up to previous MCF being somewhat blurry in cut scenes but it doesn't matter all that much. Typically dark storyline so no change there but with the detective duped very early on.
I'm a fan of the MCF games but this one didn't quite hit the mark, perhaps that is why it has been released early. IF you are new to MCF then it's a great game so I think it's best if we think of this as another game and not MCF.
I;d still recommend it as a game to play while waiting for MCF to return to form in the autumn

There are few strategy games I enjoy, they are often too easy for too long and then become too hard or just over complicated but I do like this one.
The storyline lacks something but I've come across worse HOPs for storylines.
The game starts at a reasonable level of difficulty, it doesn't spoon feed you but if you pay attention to the tips and the story from the start they are really helpful.
Based on Demo Storyline was good and there are some good elements to the game but it was slow to move around. The image quality was old fashioned and the detective character bizarrely didn't speak although everyone else does.
No massive challenge in the puzzles and it was an ok game but I'm not going to buy it because although I was enjoying the storyline the game play was just too stilted and slow.
I'm still no great fan of hidden object games but this one is charming. The puzzles do have a good level of challenge, the storyline is silly in a good way it's a little bit bonkers and unexpected.
it is very old fashioned but I don't think that's a bad thing in itself. The scenes are well done, the HOS are clear but still need to look for the items and there are some strange characters to interact with.
It's not going to suit many of the people who like the polished games like MCF but it's a good game if you are fed up with the general skull, gore and creepy doll theme of so many HOGs.
I would have rated it 5 but there were too many HOS for me. Give it a go.

I tried this game as it seemed a bit more adult and different from the fairy princess kind of games but actually it's the same game different scenery with a dull story.
The puzzles are far too easy, the music is annoying and the storyline silly and predicatable. What is it about petulant, nasty little girls in old fashioned dresses that people find so scary?
The scenery is dingy with woo scary dolls, same kind that MCF are a bit overy fond of, that predictably jump up on the screen, one even has Boo! written on it .... Hiding behind the sofa scary this is not.
I won't be buying this game, stripped of the occasional right/wrong decision making this game is every bit the same as hundreds of other HOGs without the challenging puzzlesor quality of storyline that MCF and Mystery Trackers games offer.
I like this game, it's got a good storyline with puzzles right the way through. No HOS which is a real bonus for me I find them boring. The only downside I encountered was that the puzzles were a bit too easy. This wouldn't put me off buying a sequel to this one.
If you like puzzles and stories this is a great game, if you want HOS you're going to hate it.
Well maybe not all new but certainly new features and it may just be me but I find it slightly more challenging than previous Chicken Invaders games.
There are new scenes, new Chicken formations, new weapons - the popcorn gun took a while to get used to and more space in the screen is taken up by the invaders so it's harder to hide the levels out when your weapons aren't up to scratch.
I like all the Chicken Invaders but so far this is been the best one!
Up until this game I've found the Mystery Trackers games interesting, fun, full of good puzzles and great storylines. Sadly if Mystery Trackers wasn't in the name I wouldn't have recognised it as one in this series.
It's far shorter than the others, it took me just under 3 hours to finish the game. The story is poor with shades of Ravenhearst but not of that quality and it made no sense, it felt rushed. It seemed to rely on spirits rushing towards the screen more than a story. It started out well but drifted off and suddenly finished so it was just enough to hook me into buying the game.
The challenge levels on the puzzles are too easy, the graphics are dark and hard to see. It almost seems as though the makers asked an appentice to do it, at that level it's a reasonable try but for a Mystery Trackers game it is no where near good enough.

I like quirky games like City of Fools and this definitely fits that description. The graphics are clean and elegant, the storyline is interesting and fun. The puzzles range from spatial to general knowledge and are not brain achingly hard but do take some thinking about so it's a great game for a bit of fun and relaxation.
I'm not a big fan of hidden object screens (otherwise I would have probably given it 5 stars) but there were quite a few different puzzles to play and a good storyline to go with it. The English accents are dreadful which made it mildly amusing.
There was one puzzle (password on laptop) that didn't make sense as I couldn't work out where they got the numbers from for that one but the strategy guide was useful for that.
If you like a game with different puzzles and a good storyline, I'd recommend it.
