I only played about 15 minutes of this before I knew I didn't like it. After playing all the other sophisticated games with great story lines, crisp graphics and realistic story lines, I just couldn't get into this game. It just seemed like a very old...maybe one of the first out there??.....HO games. Some may like it...it got some good ratings, but I just didn't like it. You'll have to make the call for yourself I guess....just putting my 2 cents in.

I was wanting to like this game because of all the high reviews but I didn't. The main thing for me was the hint button ONLY works in HO scenes. It does not work in showing you where to go or giving ANY kind of hint as to what to do next, how to use an object you're stuck on or anything but the HOs. That did it for me.....bottom line. Nope....it's not for me.
I'd really love this game if some things weren't so frustrating. The biggest one for me was not being able to keep my "Inventory" tab open to see the name of what I had there to see if I might be able to use it. Every time I tried to see the name of an object, the "Objectives" tab kept popping up....I could never get to see the name of ANY inventory items. One object was white and oval, so I didn't really know what it was....couldn't get to see the name. It turned out it was soap. Who knew? For all I knew it could have been an oval stone!!
I also thought some of the HOs were TOO hard to find. I like a happy medium so I can get on with what I'm supposed to be doing in the task department. With this one I spent most of my trial time trying to find the HOs.....I wanted to be able to play more of the game.
Also the hints didn't help a lot.....like "go to the pantry to find the scrub brush". Well, the HO games I like flash and arrow SHOWING you which direction to go....excuse me, just where WAS that pantry again? At one point it told me to go outside to the shed and look around....I didn't know where the shed was yet. (It just shows a line of instruction at the top of the screen.....no direction arrows.) So consequently, a lot of my time was used up looking for objects and trying to figure out which way to go. I won't be buying this one. But, the storyline was very good and the graphics were very clear and beautiful. I really did look like you were in someone's house....not a grainy scene in it.....that I had time to see that is. So, use your own judgement on this one, but I don't recommend it for the above reasons.
I don't recommend this game.

I only played about 25 minutes of this game before closing it up. The graphics were grainy and poor....that made the HO scenes very difficult for me to see things. Plus many of the objects didn't look like their name to me.....a hint showed a padlock that, to me, looked like a flower....I would have never found it. The story wasn't written well enough to keep me interested....I just skipped a lot of it. I just didn't like this after playing so many that have beautiful and clear graphic scenes and well defined HO scenes. Nope.....don't recommend it.

Everything about this game is interesting! The graphics are clear and beautiful, the HO scenes are not so hard as to take the fun out of the game, the hint button (in casual mode) recharges very fast. I think one of the things I loved more than all the other games I've played is the MAP. Some games show you where to go but NOT how to get there. In this game you can open your map, it shows you where you are now and what areas there are tasks to do. You can then click on the location ON THE MAP and get there....I love that!! I'm on my second time around it's so interesting. Highly recommend this one.

What a GREAT game!! The graphics were perfectly beautiful, the storyline was interesting enough for me to read it....many times I get bored and just skip that part, but not with this game. Everything about this was great. The HO parts were easy enough to not be frustrating, but not so easy as to get bored with them. The hint button helped with everything.... where to go, what to do next, etc. I just think the whole game was great. I'm even going back to create a new profile so I can play it again.....and I don't do that very often at all. I highly recommend this one.

This is one of the worse HO games I've played. There is absolutely no story line at all and it's ALL HOs....nothing else to fine or solve. Plus the graphics were very bad and not clear at all. It just goes from one HO scene to another. Don't waste your money on this one....I don't recommend it at all.
WOW! What a fun game! It was so entertaining and interesting during the trial that I paid full price to get it. It's the first HO game I've really loved playing in a long time. I gave up on them a few weeks ago and cancelled my BF membership, but then this one came up. It had an interesting story line and I usually skip through all the dialog, but not with this one. It also helped me through with the guide book...I couldn't have made it without it....but it was fun to play anyway. Everything about this game was fun, interesting and challenging. The graphics are beautiful and clear, the HO games are not so difficult that it makes it too hard to enjoy. I loved everything about it and finished it in one day....doing things in-between and then coming back to it. I'll probably play this one again and again. I highly recommend it.

I liked what I got to play, but I deleted it after it crashed and just stopped running after the fourth time. For some reason, it just doesn't play on my computer....and it's fairly new. I haven't had that problem with any other HO game...or any game for that matter. I liked the ONE HO scene I got to play, but I couldn't get past that....I just finally deleted it.

I played about a half hour and this game gets very old fast for me. It's a nice and cute twist on the Match Three type of game, but I wouldn't be able to play it for long. I deleted it.
