I do agree that the game is slow. The matching could be faster when you switch tiles but I did like everything else about the game. The graphics are great and I enjoy building games. The object is to build an empire bigger that the King's so you can marry his daughter. I played on normal and got "Perfect" several times which means I finished the board before I lost any stars at the bottom of the screen where the timer is running. A Perfect takes you to a Maya God and you choose a bonus globe. The bonus is not revealed until you click on the globe. This is a buy for me.
I downloaded the game, opened it, keyed in a name, selected a mode and then the first screen (board) began. I immediately got out and uninstalled. Really, still with the moving boards! I wasted my money on the last Jewel Match with moving boards, not again. I do not recommend this game.

Solitaire Mystery: Four Seasons
Time has come to a stand-still for the citizens of the City of Magic Cards. Solve dozens of unique and exciting solitaire puzzles and lift the curse that’s stopped the seasons from changing!
Concept really good. I liked the story line and was excited to play but then I played....no skill involved at all. Especially when it came to the matching. Either by luck the cards you needed showed up or they didn't; like I said no skill just plain old dumb luck which on one hand I had none. After playing it about 5 times and running out of cards I said "Enough". There are too many games out there better than this to spend my money/credits on.
I own all the other Jewel Match Games and have enjoyed them (some more than others) but this is the first one where I wish I could get my money back. The moving board is distracting and does not follow your last move as the instructions say it will. Do not believe the reviewers who say you can stop the board from moving. You can slow the movement but not stop it. I am on level 22 and cannot get anymore buildings to open. They just stay locked. I tried playing the bonus game to try and open them up but that did not work as you cannot clear the boards. You keep running out of moves and have to start the game over. In a word "Aggravating". I am done playing and will never waste my money on another Jewel Match!
You have to hold the right mouse button down to fill in the dead cell(s). You cannot switch to cross out boxes and then switch back. I found this cumbersome not to mention very annoying and only lasted about 5 boards when I gave up. I also did not care for the side bar. I kept thinking there should be more to see. It was like the bar was cut in half, distracting.
The game does not allow you to make matches while the tiles are falling. So there is no way to plan ahead of the sand tiles. There is a match and you are trying to make it to keep from more tiles from turning to sand and the very tiles you need for the match turn to sand since they are frozen as tiles fall and you cannot make matches. I sure wish I had my money back and they had their game back! :(
What a horrible boring game. I love Frogs and was excited to see this was one. My excitement only lasted until I had played a couple of boards. The objects are easy. The story non-exsistent. Graphis poor. Please do not waste your money on this one.
The Hods, magical beings and pure of heart, once lived in harmony with the holy Tree of Life. But the endless greed of a dark demon forced the Hods into hiding. Now, new hope springs eternal. Rebuild the world of the Hods in this Match 3 Adventure Game and restore the Tree of Life to its old strength!
I am surprised at all the 5 star reviews. I thought this was a terrible game and regret buying it. It take forever to fill the vials which look like test tubes. I was so bored because you are on the same board forever as you try to fill the vials so you can move on. I played this for a couple hours after buying it and have never played it again. In my opinion it was a waste of money.
I did not even last 15 minutes into the demo. This game is painful to play. It is slow to clear matches, no bonus for 4 and above matches. In the middle of each board a person comes on and says I'm in a run and need a pizza and then you have to clear so many of certain objects from the board but you never get a chance to because the board is falling matches. Then they have blocked lines and you have to make a match with the object under the vine blocking the way but you cannot tell what object is under the vine. If you like Match 3, and I do, avoid this mess!
Let me begin with my title "I love Match 3's". My second favorite is hidden object so I get both with this game. As far as I can tell the HOs are few and far between. First for all the players who want untimed, there is an untimed mode but not sure if it is really needed. I got to the second part of the Quest in the hour demo and have not run out or come close to running out of time. Very smooth transfer of tiles and falling of tiles. You can make matches while tiles are falling. I haven't seen that in any of the new games for a while. If there is anything I hate it is having to click on a tile and then click on the tile where you want to switch. I will not buy any game that makes you do that! This is a definte buy for me. Although it is pretty easy I still enjoyed playing. I did find the bats, spiders and turtles that fly into the game annoying but they are killed very quickly and a good Match 3 comes along so rarely that I am going to overlook this flaw and BUY!
