Half way through the trial period I got bored. There appeared to be little skill. The player is moved around the board based on the random turn of a wheel which indicates how many moves can be made. When the player lands on a piece of real estate you can either buy it, leave it or you have to pay rent and yes you can buy and sell goods. I could be wrong because I didn't play the game for long enough but for me there was no challenge. If a game doesn't grab you in the first say 20 mins/30mins then you won't be buying it. Take a look at it and see if like me you don't like it and therefore won't be buying it. There are some brilliant games on Big Fish. This isn't one of them!

What a totally useless game, no wonder it was on special offer!! This has to be one of the worst if not the worst game that BFG have come up with. Just ignore it, it's not worth playing even the demo version. Very disappointed

This is a TM Game similar to "Roads to Rome" and the "Princess" Series. Some people have commented negatively about the speed of the the little men. Well, I found it great. No need to wait to boost speed, it's there all the time. Sound effects too noisy was another neg. comment. I don't agree. Turn the sound effect volume down! it's easy enough to find. Workers can be tasked in advance. Now that has to be a plus. The graphics quality is very good as is the overall sound. The idea of regaining time by finding the "Goblins" is another great idea. This is a fast paced game, so if you want to loll around and take your time, then this game won't be to your liking. Personally, I think it's great and to prove the point, I have bought it.
I recommend this game!

If you have played Battleship's before and didn't like it then read no further! The game has the basic format of the original. The player sets out his ships on the grid and the object of the exercise is to sink the other players, in this instance, the computer, before he (it) does. You can also play in salvo mode, which allows five possible target areas in one hit. As the ships are discovered and sunk, the number of salvo's is reduced from 5 to eventully 1. There is also a special weapons mode, which during the 1 hr free game, I didn't try. Next comes the graphics. Your single missile or salvo fails to find a target and you see them explode into the empty ocean, hit a ship and you see an explosion on board. Dependant on the size of the vessel, five hits for a battleship, you will see it sink. A tally of "hits" is recorded and dependant on the number of "hits" will increase your rank. This is not a difficult game to play, but it still calls for some good planning both for defence and attack. This is one game I shall definately buy.

If you like "My Kingdom for the Princess" series and/or the "Royal Envoy" series, you will like this game. There is no untimed mode which may annoy some, but surely the aim of this game is in its genre "Time Managment" Some of the players who have made comments also complain of the fast clicking required in places, well I'm not exactly a spring chicken and I didn't have any problems with it. The graphics are good, the sound is good and the level of challenge is also good. For me, this is a great game, full of challenges and could certainly not be classed as boring.

Well, I tried it!!! Lasted 30mins then gave up. Boring little game. Clicked Storyline by mistake. There is no storyline. Well, there wouldn't be would there, its a bowling game! For me there was no challenge and from what I could see little if any skill required. If however you like a game that appears to rely solely on luck then maybe this game is for you.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm not a great lover of board and card games but "Risk" is great. The graphics could not be called spectacular, but then a map of the world doesn't call for it to be spectacular! The sound quality is good and the story line got an "OK" but there isn't really a story here. It's a strategy game. I played against the computer. In the easy level I conquered the world very quickly, but in medium level I had to fight every inch of the way. Didn't try any other levels as I ran out of time in demo mode. I shall be buying it.

The game itself is fun. The graphics and sound quality is also good, but like some of the other reviewers comments, finding some of the hidden objects is difficult because (a) some are very small and (b) some are too well hidden. Now if you have perfect vision then points (a) & (b) probably not occur, but, be warned all you fishes out there that wear glasses. This game is not good for us!! Because of that I didn't buy it.

I agree with the other comments that this game looks childish, but in my opinion that's where it stops. Some of the memory tests get very difficult, well they did for me. If you haven't done even simple mental arithmetic in a long while, you will find this a challenge. Dexterity with the use of the arrow keys can also prove a challenge. OK, I'm 67 so my reactions will not be those of an 18yr old. BUT with practise using this game, they will come back!!

OK I only played about 30 mins of the demo, but as some other players have stated, the game had already reached "Boring Status" I do like M3 games, but this one left me cold. All the games that I have bought, be they HOG or M3 have grabbed my attention and held my interest well over 30 mins. This one didn't.
