This is a really entertaining game. It has a twist to it. Instead of finding objects you are given in each scene a number of objects which you have to place in the correct position. Sometimes that is easy and sometimes its not, but its great fun.
The graphics are great and the music is OK.
Totally recommend this game

So it's a game, but let's get some facts. The time is Victorian London. The young detective would not have been dressed as depicted and he certainly would not have had shoulder length hair. The first woman appointed to the Metropolitan Police In London was in 1883 and there was no chance that she would have ever risen to the rank of Superintendent.
So on to the game:
Typical match 3 but with a story line. No time limit, so there is no challenge. To be honest, its get a bit boring after a while, but it is fun to play it in short spurts.
Probably a very good intro to a beginner in Match 3 games and on that premis I recommend it.
I recommend this game!

Whilst I agree with the previous players comments, I had, whilst playing the demo game a problem with the sound. The music was fine and then it jumped like an old vinyl. Character voices were good but then for no apparent reason a word would be repeated as if the sound had got stuck and started again. I have literally hundreds of BFG games and they are all fine sound wise and I have no problem with sound on my laptop in any other instance.
The graphics are great, the game is fun but, Oh the sound track at times is definately not what we all expect especially for a Collectors Edition.
Would be interestted to hear from anyone who has had the same problem or from anyone who can resolve the problem.

First off can I say that I have Windows 10 and I found no problem with the resolution or anything else. It all worked perfectly.
This is a more complicated Match 3 game than most as there are 3 different areas that have to be completed in each level.
Currently I am only in the Demo part of the game, but it appears that the object is to keep crazy ex tofu fanatics out of the game whilst building a holiday complex on what was a deserted island.
All very silly, but good fun and the levels start to get harder. You have to be very nimble with your mouse to win.
I recommend this game.

When I was a kid "Painting By Numbers" was all the rage in the UK and you can still get it in craft and art shops today. They are not as prolific, but are more detailed.
When I tried this game, the first few screens were basic to say the least and I can only assume that the other person who commented on this game only got that far and gave up.
The game won't let you jump pictures, so quickly get through the first three and then you will have a butterfly to paint. Now that does take time!
The music is not bad, but you can turn it off and listen to something else whilst you paint.
The butterfly is huge and it is impossible to see the numbers, but you can zoom in thereby easily seeing the numbers and move around easily.
Because of the zoom facility the visual quality is excellent and upon completion, zoom out to see a really great butterfly
There is of course no story line.
This is a relaxing exercise and as I have already said if you enjoy this type of painting you will love this game.
I recommend this game.

There isn't an awful lot to this game, well, not for adults as explained by previous players. Kids? that's a different matter. I think they would enjoy it. It would certainly make an 8 or 9 year old think! and that has to be a good thing.
So for adults I wouldn't recommend it but, for kids, I will give it a resounding YES
I recommend this game!

I am not sure what caused the somewhat fuzziness of the graphics. I am using Windows 10 and there was an actual warning that if Windows 10 was being used then click onto the alternative windows setting that the game provided. At first, I ignored this and got a blank screen, Restarted and clicked the alternative and the game started. At first the graphics where OK but then at the second level they got, well if not fuzzy, blurred and as I already wear specs, I thought enough is enough.
This is a pity because the game looked reasonably interesting but as another game player mentioned the play area of the screen was too small.
Increase the game play area, remove the blurry/fuzzy graphics and I'll give it another try, but as it is, sorry guys but this game is not for me.
I don't recommend this game.

As already stated there are 3 levels of game play: casual, timed and limited moves. Casual is OK and I would advise you try this first, just to get a feel for the game. Not much of a challenge so there is the possibility of you very quickly getting bored.
Now, try either of the other two modes and you are guaranteed a challenge. Don't think you will get bored at all
Great graphics and a fun game.
I recommend this game.

This is a good game. The downside is the game screen sits inside a huge border making the diamonds, jewels or whatever else has to be matched extremely small.
I wear glasses and unfortunately for me, it was too much of a strain.
I have a laptop with a screen size of 15.5 inches. Perhaps with a larger screen things would be better.
The graphics in themselves are good, the music is OK and the storyline of course fairy tale but that's what's to be expected with this sort of game.
So, if like me, you wear glasses, I don't recommend this game unless you have a bigger screen.
Eyesight perfect? I recommend it. Enjoy, but don't play too long!!
I recommend this game!

Believe it or not but "Labyrinth of Lies" is the first Nancy Drew game I have attempted. I say attempt, because I am miles from the end.
This is not an easy game but, the interest level is great. If you only have a few minutes to spare then play something else. This game takes time, a lot of time.
If you want a challenge then this and no doubt other Nancy Drew games will provide this.
If you want to play something different from Match 3 or HOG then this is the one.
I am still in the theatre (those that have played this game will know where that is) but I have bought it.
I am well impressed and I must say that it is a long time since I said that!
You may note that I have entered my skill level as "expert". Well, I think I am but NOT in this genre!!
I totally recommend this game.
