Grim Facade is my second favorite in all ERS series, after Edgar Allen Poes. It has many good quality story and this one is really superb, excels among all other games in the series.
Although ERS again delivers with the usual graphic style, the background music is always different with every game in GF series. Also every game ends the story, not dragging them unnecessarily like PuppetShow series does. The extras in this game is also very nice, in my opinion. I really love the cute fox (hope we can keep him as our game helper!) and the game trivia is very neat. There is no map in this game but there're few backtracking so it is not needed. The game is quite easy so I even didn't use any hint button until chapter 5 or so! The bonus game, however is a bit confusing on what I should do and I have to consult the SG a few times.
One downside is that our apprentice, Aldian, seems like boss instead of us being his boss. I feel like we exchange roles with Edgar Allen Poe series where we are the apprentice and Dupin is our leader.
The ending of the bonus game is very good and explains what the main game doesn't. This is one of those games that have good bonus chapter.

Among all the games in PS series, this game is probably the most creative, but I found that the new 'creativeness' are borrowed or adapted maybe from other games, like Elephant Games (EG), an example would be game helpers, in which in this game is the spider like puppet. EG has game helpers in almost all of their games, so I find this a bit irritating, like why do they also have the same thing instead of coming out with better one? There are also puppet collectibles, same like in EG. You just collect a few throughout the entire game instead of every scene.
The graphic in this game is well, like all ERS games so don't expect too much, although for a PS game, this one is quite bright, not so dark and creepy. There are voice overs but they are SO not suited for the characters. I mean, they are good, but they are adults and they voice for children. Somewhat it is not appropriate and you can tell instantly.
Coming back to puppet helper, the designing of hats for the puppet seems to distract us and make the game longer. I couldn't care less about this however if I am stuck in the game, I decided to play the mini hat games.
The map is not very useful. Why keep asking us whether we want to go there? of course we want to go there! Jeez!! Background music and game interface are the same throughout the entire series. I don't mind them, but the 'tools' menu take lots of space and it is no longer fresh.
I appreciate ERS's effort to improve the game everytime, but the story of PS gets old, it's time to close the curtain and make a new series!

Of all the games in the Haunted Legends series, to me this is the winner. I am a bit distraught with ERS games these days because to me there are no improvement. Same old graphics, music, bore me. I decided to give this one a try from the ERS game sale, and from the positive reviews, I hope for a better game and fortunately this game delivers although I don't expect much from the graphic and music (which is to my expectation, same old same old) but nice storyline and I especially love the zombies coming out of nowhere. I hate the monkey although at the end I feel sorry for it. The one thing that disappoints me is the ending, both the regular game and the bonus, seem hanging and just confusing. Other than that, I can cope, with the usual extras which I will never use anyway, but they did it with the zombies thus earn extra star. I suppose there will be another game in the series judging from how it ends, and I hope it will also be a buy.

If you're a fan of R+J story, you surely must buy this game, but even if you're not, simply if you love Elephant Games, like me, this game is for you too. The graphic as usual, is superb. Very good background music, almost like classical. Lots of places to explore and HOG games is not the find the items in word list. It was a great game, few backtracking with map handy, although the last chapter requires you to go back and forth many times, which will be impossible and will get on your nerves if without a map. There's no achievement in this game but I don't really care about that. The bonus chapter is slightly a bit forced, but I enjoy it nonetheless. If you are unsure, I suggest you to try the demo first and see for yourself before buying.

At first when I read the title, I thought it will be a fairytale game. But no, it is fairytales game. There are so many combination of fairy tales in this game but what seems so wrong, just seem right. If you are a Disney fan, you will surely see many of the mix and match of Disney movie here, from Cinderella, Beast, Genie, the list goes on. there are lots of places to explore so thank goodness for the map. The graphic is EG standard which I called 3C: clean, clear and crisp. The voice over is a bit cheesy, but for a game like this, exageration is okay, I guess. Many cute animals too, and ermine is so cute when it fetches stuff. If you are a fan of EG or fairy tale stories, you shouldn't miss this one!

I gave this game 5 stars as it gives lots of improvements from the previous game in the series: Samhain. Full screen mode, collectables, voice overs and live actors. I even think that this game's live actors are so much better than the current one. They blend so well with the graphic and make it so natural. The bonus chapter continues from the main game, instead of going backwards, which games this days always do. Had so much fun playing this game and I love it!

I bought this game after experiencing many games from Elephant Games and this game is like their very first game released, so there's no voiceover, but it's still creepy and exciting. There is no map available so I have to go through SG several times. The bonus chapter is fine but since there is little background music and no voice over, it takes a bit of the excitement and those rushing feeling like being chased by a real Celtic demon. Nevertheless I love this game and I am ready to play 'Templar' ;)

The fact that it is released as an SE is beyond me. I think it's very generous of the dev to release it on a standard edition and it's an adventure game. There's voice overs, no map needed as there is less backtracking and it's filled with action. I thought this game was made by Alawar since they advertise it on their site, but I don't think it is. I am really grateful that there is still dev out there who thinks more about our enjoyment rather than selling it in a CE but not really worth it.

Like all its predecessors, this game is super awesome. I have nothing bad to say about this game, although I find the many dialogues a bit irritating, but it was okay. The map is very useful. There is little backtracking since the scene is closed whenever you start a new chapter (usually), and if you have to travel far, there's the map to help. The usual companion in the game (although not for long), the cute hamster, wish we could keep him.. the philantrophy is super cool. I missed just one point to complete everything but I can't go back to check, overall I am satisfied. The graphic is very clear and super smooth. There's a lot of action and I feel like in a film. Super awesome game. Recommended even if you haven't played the previous ones.

I have all the other GT games so I bought this game without hesitation and trying the demo. I was a bit disappointed when I first play this game as it doesn't support full screen in my computer, which it always does in other EG. There is this funny background behind the black sidebar as a result of me probably trying to make a full screen but failed. The story seems to rush on the beginning of the game. Like why she suddenly comes out of nowhere? the snow queen herself also seems to lack charisma and she doesn't appear to be scary to me. The map is pretty useful although a bit different than the usual EG's SGs. Our location is marked with a man that look like it was taken from a male toilet :(( However, as all other EG, there is this goblin helping us, and the graphic is superb, albeit the small screen I have.
