Oh my.... I had to see what all the negative reviews were about, so I downloaded the demo, and I can see why. Is it that we are getting to be so expert at these games, that they all are so incredibly easy, or are the developers really just getting lazy, so they can push games out faster and faster. Going through the motions of a game without even having to think is not my idea of challenge or fun. And that healing hand thing? What's up with that?? Really....I think we all can agree that tracing is pretty childish. I guess I will just have to go back and replay my games from 5 years ago, when there was really a challenge to the puzzles, and you got some exercise for your brain, which to me is what computer games are all about. Graphics and prettiness are ok, but that shouldn't be the main focus of a game.
I am a lover of all mini-games and puzzles in a HOP game, and don't care a lot for the hos, so this is really my type of game. It has a lot of replay value, for sure. I'm not sure why the new games, have such lame and easy puzzles now, and they seem like just fill-ins. I have been looking for a game with lots of challenging puzzles, and I think I found one that really exercises the old noggin. Too bad it doesn't support wide screen, but I will still buy anyway.
I really really liked this game, and I think I would have purchased it, except that it doesn't support wide screen, and when I changed the properties to stretch to fit the screen the graphics were really bad, so due to that, I don't recommend this game for wide screen only.
I recommend this game!

The Lost Cases of 221B Baker St.
Return to 221 Baker St. and help Sherlock Holmes solve brand new cases! Take on the new mysteries in Victorian London!
I love puzzles, so this is my type of game. Had a bit of problem with the screen resolution, but worked it out on the property settings. Lots to do. This is a buy for me, and think it has a lot of replay value.
I bought this one, as I have a few of the other ones in this series, but it's identical to the previous game. All you have to do is just play the one before, and save your money, for something more fun. Not sure why they bother with a story line, if that's what you could call it. Just a bunch of nerdy cartoon pics plopped onto a garden. Really?? I found it so easy that all your were doing was coloring in blocks with your mouse without even having to put much thought into it. I can think of other ways to put stress on my wrist rather than a game like this. They really need to put more work into this game series to make it more fun.
Really loved the puzzles, and there were more than enough, with some easy and some challenging. Some games I have played get really tedious near the end, but this one just kept getting better and better as it went on. The graphics were gorgeous, and the underwater scenes were awesome! I normally don't care about the story, but this one was really interesting in a weird sort of way, and the music was outstanding. A lot of beautiful details went into the scenes and the bas reliefs, and items needed to complete tasks. Really really enjoyed playing this game, and would like to see another cursery sequel.
Now this is my type of game. I don't know why I enjoyed it so much, but it kept my interest right until the end. The music was really appropriate for the setting, and that has a lot to do with the creepiness that I really enjoy. I also thought it was clever that the tasks had counters at the top of the page so you knew if you were done with that scene or not. Also, with the gold coins you had to collect. Some collection games don't even have that many extras. Didn't need the map, as it was easy to find your way around. Lots of clever and different puzzles to complete, and other tasks that kept you from getting bored. Would like to see more games like this one. I really enjoyed it.
I recommend this game!

Oh my... Not sure what all the great reviews are about, but I did not like this game at all. Silly little puzzle things to complete that are way too easy, and seemed like quick fill-ins, and the one puzzle that had any substance to it, was so annoying that this is the 1st one I ever used the skip on. And that magic mirror sidekick thingy to help you solve items? Why would the devs even bother with something like that. It didn't make any sense to me, and was just a bunch of random clicking to make it work. I was hoping for a great game, with lots of puzzles, and was so disappointed that I couldn't even finish the demo. Only a couple morphing items I found, and the other collectibles were very visible and easy to spot. So many other better games out there. This is not my type of game.

Loved it..... new and fun mini-games and puzzles which I like a lot. Really enjoyed the story, and nice crisp graphics. Not enough in the CE for me to buy, so I think will wait for the SE.

This game is good for children or beginners only. Way too easy. Why bother with a puzzle to put together and only have 6 large pieces? The puzzles I did when I was 3 were harder than that. It seems that this developer is just pushing the games out fast, and not caring how much effort is put in to the puzzles or content of the game. No excitement, and I found it very boring. What is the point of the spring brush for? You have to slide it over the screen to bring the picture back? Doesn't make any sense, except to make more work for your wrist. Music was ok. Graphics were ok too, but not worth buying. Didn't care for giving the little pet helper items from your inventory and waiting for him to chew it up and make it into something you can use. All, a lot of time chewers, to make the game longer, but no added value in the fun factor. Another game not for me.
