I was unable to finish even the trial - I only played maybe 15-20 minutes. It seems very old school especially because of the agonizingly slow Hint and Skip functions. Is this supposed to represent a 'challenge'? It is torture. (and I was on 'casual' so I just can't imagine what it would be like on the harder levels).
I thought I would like the game at first and even went back and tried a 2nd and 3rd time before deleting it. It was just 'clunky'.
This is one of the best from Surface: in a while! They are all good but a few are really stellar. Usually brilliant, clever and artistically exciting, they keep getting even better!
(this is actually the third game I am reviewing recently (from different developers) that I have to say they TOO are exceeding their status quo! Must be something in the air!
The mini games and HOS have some interesting variety =. same story different day (always fun).

Very happy with this game. The artwork is gorgeous especially the art deco style environments. Very happy, bright colors throughout. Quite Fantastical!
It has a lot of different things to do and rolls right along gracefully, so it was very relaxing to play.
The Final Cut group is really progressing rapidly, judging from all the games I have played and always liked. This one however, exceeds . - getting better all the time.

I am so glad I bought this game. It has very unique, innovative components in the HOS and mini-games - and many variations throughout, keeping it interesting.
The artwork is superior - like 'fine art' (which many of the BigFish games have). My favorites have beautiful environments that are quite pleasant, while still being exciting and fun! I prefer this atmosphere to the more 'dark' and dank, haunted broken-down hospitals and all (too close to real). LOL.
I like all the 'Haunted Train' games I have played - but I do think this is the best yet! Keep up the good work! (Stay on track)

Beautiful! I made a note to buy it after doing the trial and was happy to see the standard version today. The same day as a big fish sale! Of course that made it more fun!
I am so glad I bought it, and it is one of those I will play a few times now and a few more times down the line and it will still be fun!
The game has many innovative and clever features throughout in both HOS and mini-games. It definitely stands out from the pack!
I bought this game last year and sometimes I play my old games. I have 2 other Grim Tales in my collection. Now I will have to go back to them again since I had so much fun today with this one.
This game stands out for the well-done 'special effects' ("magic") stuff, as well as innovative mini-games, and clean artwork.
I hope I didn't do a review on this one before but just in case not, I wanted to make note of it because I realized it is really exceptional.
;o)
I recommend this game!

Ominous Objects: Phantom Reflection
A mysterious mirror is causing havoc in your client's house!
This game stood out because there are many very clever, innovative features. Whether we are talking the game itself or the mini-games it really stands up above the norm. I am glad I bought it and I am sure I will play it at least a few more times and will enjoy it as much as the first time! Thank you as always Big Fish.
Wondering if the update fixes a bug that probably would not have been caught in beta testing:
I made the mistake of pouring the water into the radiator while there was a hole in the hose. What a dummy.
The bucket disappears into thin air, the water source is no longer available. Even after fixing the hose, there is no forgiveness for stupidity! LOL.
I had to kill the profile and start the game over to bypass and was sure to do things in logical order so game performed fine through to the end. (it happened relatively early in the game so that was lucky).
I just never saw a game that you couldn't do things out of order - or at least it should have refused the water knowing it would leak out of the hose - or allowed me to get more water.
Lily's Requiem was ok and the 3rd Shiver game in my collection. It was a little disappointing compared to the others, as far as thrills but still ok. I do hope they will make a comeback with the next one as far as overall quality.
In general as well as relevant to this game, I highly resent hints that don't help and keep looping back to the same 'clue' that doesn't tell you anything.
...Well that and the instructions for mini-games that don't really explain what to do - I play games for entertainment (relaxation) not stress so I just 'Skip' it if not clear'...
