This developer always comes through. This is a fun HOG with some extras. The plot is an interesting twist from the usual "good vrs evil" although it gets strained towards the end. Nice to have a hardcore mode, but when will this developer learn that hardcore means NO black box comments/hints? HOS are pretty easy, games are easy with a few thinkers thrown in. extra play scene is good and ties in with the regular game.
This is in no way as good as the first Shiver, and the second is better too. I look for a challenge in HOPAs, but this game's hardest mode is a joke. Sparkles, leading comments, etc. And I am sick to death of games that make wolves evil, bloodthirsty, only-live-to-kill-humans villains. Maybe if the developers did a little research they would learn the true nature of wolves. It's a no buy for me.
Discover the city of Apothecarium, where inhabitants are caught in a perilous struggle against a powerful alchemist who is taking the lives of innocent!
Wow is this game creepy, macabre and just plain great! So unique, even the HOS have a special feature I've not seen before. The graphics are dark, weird, and gothic, I couldn't wait to see the next scene. The hardest mode is truly HARD, no leading, no black boxes, finally a challenging game, The only minor complaints I have are: 1.although there is a control to turn off voices, you still get voices in the cut scenes, and the voiceovers are awful 2. the transistions between scenes are a little slow HIghly recommended, but not for children.
You've arrived in the peaceful resort town of Aurora Peak to investigate some mysterious local crystals. But the devious plot you uncover there could endanger the entire world!
The best thing about this game is the unique artwork, esp the crystal affected plants and animals. Otherwise it is a pretty standard HOG. The HOS are good, puzzles are nothing new. Story is a little predictable. There are a few morphing objects to find, not sure why they are "souvenirs" or why I'd want to have a place to look at them again. Played on hardest mode and had no trouble. Thankfully you can mute the voiceovers and music. Bonus game is the same level of quality as the regular game. It misses being a fantastic game for so many reasons, make sure to get it on sale if you decide to get it. The
This is nowhere as good as the first Stray Souls, there is very little originality. They take liberally from the first plot, and unfortunately added awful voiceovers that you can't turn off. It's supposed to be a CE but there are no collectables or morphing objects as in the first. The puzzles are simple, there are few hidden object scenes, and the black box comments remove any possible challenge (I played on expert mode): "oh this is a big block of ice I need an ice pick". "oh I need to remove this ice I saw some detergent downstairs". Ugh. This game just wasn't much fun, luckily I got it on sale. If you must play it, get the SE, I can't imagine this is worth the CE price.
This review is based on the demo, I didn't like the game enough to buy it. This game doesn't deliver as promised, it is just a staid and rather boring collection of evidence. You collect evidence based on clues given to you, then you take the same items and "assign" them to the clues, then you get a synopsis of the whole thing. There are no penalties for guessing wrong, and the evidence is targeted by your cursor as you pass over it, so it's pathetically easy. Lastly, the developer of the game gave it a 3 star rating. If the developer doesn't believe his game is a 5, why would we?
This misses a 5 rating in several ways. 1. There is no way to turn off the awful voiceovers, I kept having to hit my mute button to avoid them. 2. The beyond objects are ridiculously easy to find, there is no challenge. 3. The prize for finding the beyond objects is 4 boring "swap the tiles" pictures. 4. The bonus game is creepier and more interesting than the regular game. 5. The developers disappointly did not develop the "House of 1000 Doors" theme much further in this episode, it lacks the originality of the first.
However, both the regular and bonus games are a decent length. The HOS and "replace the object" scenes are okay, the minigames pretty easy, you can use the map to skip from place to place, and you can turn off the hints in the map.
I wanted to give it a 4.5, but since it's better than a 4 I gave it a 5. It's a good HOG with 2 kinds of HOS, good minigames, collectibles to find AND shells to find to buy things for your aquarium and dolphin friend. The game is a decent length as is the bonus game. Played on hardcore and had no trouble, except some of the minigame instructions were too vague and either I had to figure out what to do with trial and error, or had to check the SG. Art is pretty, I like underwater scenes. You can turn off the voiceovers and music, which I did. (Voiceovers ruin games for me). Plot is pretty obvious, but the bonus game gives it a nice twist.
This is part 2 of the 4 part Episode 3 (can you follow that?). It is another excellent RPG. You can continue your game from the first. There are plenty of weapons, armor and treasure to find. Lots of interesting characters and the usual Aveyond humor. Multiple endings depending how you choose to proceed in the game. Also there are 3 levels of play so beginners should not be intimidated, the Aveyond games will hook you on RPGs if you aren't already!.There are lots of tips in the forum and walkthroughs available for free if you google it. For experienced RPGers, there is an expert mode. HIghly recommended, and best to play all 4 parts in order.
I recommend this game!

Fairway Solitaire: Tee to Play
Fairway Solitaire: Tee To Play is an award-winning combination of solitaire and golf. Play sequential cards to create long drives. Long drives make better scores!
I'm a little confused why they needed to re-release Fairway Solitaire. It seems to be the same game, albeit with less courses per pack. I'd just buy one of the Fairway games, as they are all about the same I play it on my ipad more than my computer, and it is an excellent solitaire game. There is plenty to do and the extra touches are fun. It's more challenging than most solitaires with the water and sand hazards. I have been able to buy all "power ups" needed with Golf Bucks that I won, esp from playing the free Daily course. You can buy other powerups with real money, but I haven't needed to, and have completed all the packs.
