The only 'Fix-it up' game I've played which is a shame because I really enjoyed this one!! (Must get buying the rest)
It's rather unique in the fact you own a repair shop and you have to repair and upgrade cars - and the goals are fun because not only do you need to make money but sometimes it is necessary to keep certain cars etc etc.
I found the harder levels to be nearly impossible plus the extra levels which you need to make an extra item, like a helicopter are near impossible. Loads of fun though with some great graphics and an interesting enough story!
Much like the first game in the 'Forgotten Riddles' series this game includes a great storyline along with a very unique way of finding clues.
Much like the first game also my major problem was that it was way too short and I had it finished within an hour or two of buying it. It was a little longer than the first but not enough to really get your moneys worth.
It also gets less interesting when you replay it as by that time all those hard riddles before come easily and there is no longer a challenge, as once you solve the riddle, finding the item is most often not difficult at all.
I absolutely loved this game but I had one major downfall!
I literally finished this game within the demo and it took less than a hour playing the full version to complete it.
I think this is because I'm experienced in HO games and I didn't find the riddles too complicated, but I was disappointed as I really liked how unique this game was.
I recommend this game!

I found this game to be essentially a lot of fun but what put me off is that the game play confused me a little. It is unlike most other games like this I've played because the position of buildings matter so on top of the whole managing a neighbourhood thing, you also have to work some strategy to make sure you place buildings in the right position so you can get visitors. I felt like the harder levels where much more confusing than they had a right to be in a game like this, so it wasn't very fun near the end.
I love how this game brings everything about the first game, including the ultra adorable graphics, but updates and improves on it. It is a really brilliant sequel and just as fun as the first.
I found the later levels in this game a little harder than the first but apart from that it essentially stayed the same, challenge wise.
I really hoped, after playing the first one several times, that they would bring in an option of right clicking to deliver items instead of dragging them to the customer but unfortunately that was not implemented. I can always hoping for the 3rd one to have that option.
I think this game is just SO adorable! I absolutely love playing it for the graphics alone. The whole 'personal shopper' thing is something I really enjoyed throughout and it never lost it's fun!
There is also a lot of smaller challenges and mini-games to keep you interested and to stop it being repetitive.
The one thing I would change about this game, which I was hoping would be implemented into the second one but wasn't is the ability to click and the item be delivered instead of having to drag it to the person that requested it!
I recommend this game!

Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island
Help world-renowned scientist Chanel Flores explore a mysterious island that has appeared in the Bermuda Triangle!
Like another review states, this game is perfect for a beginner but not so much for a seasoned HO gamer on BFG. I found it way too easier and way too short, but it had the potential to be much longer and much more difficult.
I found some of it to be 'lazy' which is odd because the graphics and art work were brilliant and you could clearly tell a lot of time had been put into it.

This is such a fun little game for all the family. The graphics are brilliant and while some things prove difficult to find, the level of challenge means it's relaxed enough to not stress over.
I particularly liked how you can zoom in and zoom out which made each level much more interesting for me. I also really, really enjoyed each scene and unlike most other HO games, this one actually made sense in what you where finding.
