Definitely not a "copy and paste" game, and thank you to 4Friends for that. I'm in that category of sick, sick, sick of fantasy and kidnapped princess games. I like the setting of a casino instead of some faux medieval kingdom. The music is subtle (especially if you turn the sound down like me) but appropo, scenery is colorful and chic, and thank you 4Friends for a fresh, novel storyline.
Puzzle lovers will be very pleased because many are new and challenging. HOs vary to keep interest but traditional HO fans won't be disappointed. Adventure level is smooth, logical, and occasionally challenging.
Collect joker's staffs throughout the game; warning-they are semi-transparent so look closely.
Main game lasts about 4 hours in hard mode, and bonus game is rather brief at <1 hour. Bonus game is interesting and very creative. CE bling includes collectibles, achievements, replayable puzzles & HOs, plus the usual.
Is it worth a CE? I'd say yes because even though the collectibles are nothing new, the bonus game was so well done. Really, the fresh approach to story, puzzles, scenery, and cute little corgi helper make this game a pleasure in a long dry spell of me-too CEs.
I recommend this game!

I'll keep it short, for once, and just tell you the best part of this new game series by Eipix. The puzzles are new for the most part, and more challenging. The story is new, and the setting is the big city. (I'm tired of chasing the kidnapped princess, while in hot pursuit of artifacts, crystals and weighty tomes of dubious merit. Enough already). The scenery is well-done. Traditional HO fans will be pleased. I wish Eipix and other devs would do more of this game.
I recommend this game!

Eipix takes you to exotic places with this new HE offering, channeling a bit of Indiana Jones. The graphics can be grainy at times, though scenery is beautiful. There's that odd habit of not zooming in on areas that need a shaped "key", so I hope your vision is better than mine.
If you love puzzles, good, because these are very enjoyable. There are many new & challenging ones that take time and thought. Puzzles/HOs are about 50/50. Traditional HO fans will be very pleased. Adventure challenge is good, not taxing.
Bling includes collectible statues (signs), which look like dragon-shaped tubas. Morphs are in HOs only. The extras include replayable HOs & puzzles, the Souvenir Room (a mini-collectible hunt), and ability to retrieve any signs or morphs you missed. Plus the usual.
The main game is about 4 hours in hard mode. The bonus game is under an hour, and is a separate storyline.
Is it worth a CE? Maybe. The best part of the game is puzzles, so you'll have a ball with those. To those I would say yes. If you don't like puzzles, it's a relaxing game you can take or leave.
I recommend this game!

This is the best Daily Magic game I've played, and I'm usually lukewarm on this dev. I usually forgo the story for adventure, but this one kept me hooked. (I get very annoyed when the whole plot is given away in the first scene and it's off to hammer ladders and find well cranks for the next two hours.) This. Game. Is. Great. The plot slowly unfolds which is awesomeness.
Disclaimer: I love haunted house games, especially without crystals, artifacts, and bwah-ha-ha villains in mandatory red cowls. This is an actual ghost story. The graphics, scenery, music, and environmental sound effects are spot on.
Puzzles and HOs are balanced at about 50/50. Most HOs are at least somewhat interactive, but traditional HO fans won't be disappointed. HO scenes are used twice. Puzzles are easy to moderate, with no aggravation. Adventure level is excellent, at least in hard mode.
Bling includes morphing puzzle pieces; get them all and do 6 jigsaw puzzles in extras. Also collect coins to buy & play fun video games in extras. Now that was new and a nice touch. Also included are achievements, plus the usual. I got all the puzzle pieces, so I don't know if you can go back and find any you missed.
The main game lasts a good 4+ hours in hard mode. Bonus game is about 1 hour, and carries the story a bit further.
Is it worth a CE? Unqualified yes. This is a high quality game with great production values, a good bonus game, and new, creative bling that definitely extends your playing time. Snap it up.
I recommend this game!

AMax, previously known as ERS, has tried to stretch out the PuppetShow franchise a bit further with this offering. Face it, you're never gonna be as happy with sequels as the original, because it's just. Not. New.
The scenery, graphics, music, and atmosphere are good. My big complaint is there's too, too much dialogue. Rattle, rattle, rattle till I wanna say,"Hey, I'm tryna play a game here. Do ya mind?" Voice-overs are just okay; the woman sounds like she just woke up. Dialogue is slo-o-o-ow.
In other news, there are a lot of HOs, more than puzzles. Traditional HO fans will be pleased. The bonus game includes one superpuzzle, but most are easy to moderate.
Adventure challenge is good, with less linear play.
Collect coins throughout the main game to buy accessories for three puppets. No morphs or other collectibles.
CE bling includes dressing your puppets up, achievements, replayable HOs & puzzles, plus the usual.
Main game is about 3 hours long, bonus game is 1.5 hours. The latter uses new scenes and carries the main story further.
Is it worth a CE? I'm on the fence with this one. The nice long bonus game adds to play time, but there's not a lot of bling otherwise. I vote you demo it first and decide if you like it.
I recommend this game!

Glad to see Eipix is contributing to the pre-Halloween games, because I love haunted house themes. The atmosphere is great: music, sounds, scenery, suspense, etc.
Puzzles are somewhat new, and increase in difficulty. HOs have traditional and interactive themes. Adventure challenge is good, though when you're confined to two rooms at times, it's not very difficult.
Collectibles are voodoo dolls, that aren't hard to spot. Morphs are in HOs, and can be tricky. Match-3 is an alternative to HOs.
The main game lasts about 3.5 hours in hard mode, and bonus lasts about 45 minutes. The latter carries the main story a bit further, but was weak on story & substance.
CE bling includes collectibles that you can go back & find if you missed them, the souvenir room (a mini-collectible hunt), achievements, replayable HOs & puzzles, match-3 game, and the usual.
Is it worth a CE? I don't think so. The main game is much better than the bonus game. Unless you have to have CE bling, the SE would be enough.
I recommend this game!

Daily Magic puts out not-too-difficult games with nice graphics but this was better than most. I usually don't follow stories too closely but this held my interest throughout. They did a nice job with scenery, music, sound, cutscenes and characters.
Adventure part I liked too. There was some of that magnets-on-strings, feeding squirrels, you know what I mean stuff, but overall the atmosphere of the game was spot on. HOs are mostly FROGs with some interactive HOs, and puzzles can occasionally take time. None of the puzzles were too difficult, plus I saw new ones.
Collectibles are family paintings and morphing shadows. The main game lasts about 4 hours in hard mode. The bonus game lasts about 45 minutes and is unrelated to the main story. CE bling includes achievements plus the usual; no replayable HOs or puzzles.
Is it worth a CE? Not for the bonus game, which I didn't find very interesting. If you really have to have collectibles, I'd say yes, but otherwise the SE would be the best part of the game.
I recommend this game!

Madhead definitely makes excellent quality games overall, but sometimes we wonder if sequels will live up to the original. Wonder no more, this game is fun, quirky, original and creative. Excellent graphics, scenes, & music, with decent challenge and storyline.
Very good effort was put into HOs so you don't get same-o, and there are new puzzles as well. There's a good balance between the two, about 50/50. At some point in adventure, you get a choice how to proceed with occasional "ouch!" results, so think wisely.
There are Madhead symbols in every scene, and you can go back to find any you missed in Extras. Same with morphs, which are in all the HOs.
CE bling includes achievements, collectible Madhead symbols, a mega-HO for getting all said symbols, and a jigsaw puzzle. I'm thinking you have to get 3 stars on every HO to open the jigsaw but I could be wrong. Also included are replayable HOs plus the usual.
The bonus game extends the protagonist's story and lasted about 45 minutes. The main game in hard mode is about 3 hours. Therefore my only complaint about this game is length; I wanted it to last longer!
Is it worth a CE? Oh, yes. The high quality production values that continued into the bonus game definitely made this sequel worth it. I was sorry when it ended.
I recommend this game!

My experience with EleFun is that they put out good quality games that aren't overly challenging. I'm not saying this is the best game evah, but I'm puzzled why so many gave it the thumbs down. Hey, you want major challenge, go play Scratches.
The scenes are plentiful, attractive, and colorful. Audio, voice-overs, music, and lip-synch are good. Storyline is better than most.
Adventure is smooth and reasonably challenging at times. Puzzles range from easy to challenging, and a lot are new. HOs were varied enough to keep interest, and traditional HO fans will be pleased.
Bling includes collectible sets of objects, and every scene has a morph. There are several achievements, and a jigsaw puzzle is an alternative to HOs.
Main game is about 4+ hours in hard mode, and Bonus game is 1+ hrs. The latter carries the main game further, using both previous and new scenes.
Is it worth a CE? Yeah, probably. Both games are interesting and well done overall, plus the bling adds interest and value. I almost didn't buy this game due to negative reviews, but the demo convinced me it was a good game. You may want to do the same.
I recommend this game!

Eipix turns out a great creepster game, with melancholy music, visual gotchas, eerie scenery, and sinister plot. Illustrations are vivid and plentiful, characters are malevolent, and the setting is well, yeah, mournful.
Gameplay is smooth, voice-overs are good, and my fave, the underwater scenes, are well-done. Adventure is good, with only a couple times I was unsure where to go next.
Puzzles outweigh HOs, and most are easy to moderate. Only one was aggro. HOs are varied, and include morphs and lists. Traditional HO fans won't be disappointed.
There are 21 morphs in scenes, main & bonus included. You can go back and find any you missed in Extras. CE bling includes replayable HOs & puzzles, the souvenir room (a mini collectible hunt), achievements and the usual.
The main game is 4+ hours, the bonus game short at about 45 min, both in hard mode. The bonus game carries the story a bit further, but I thought it was a little skimpy on adventure.
Is it worth a CE? Wellll, I really thought the main game was the meat & potatoes of the CE, so I'm hesitant to give an unqualified yes. If you like Phantasmat or horror games, and like Eipix bling, it may be worth it to you. Otherwise, the SE may be good enough.
I recommend this game!
