A common point found in all other reviews is that the game is shamefully short.
Once said that I might to add that it’s also an excellent and entertaining game and its shortness is the only real fault I can put on it.
The conception is quite original; the whole atmosphere is joyful and humorously ironical.
The plot is about a princess forced to marry a fishy guy for material reasons, since the kingdom has lost prosperity.
She ask her hero for help and the ironical character inspired by “The Surprising Adventures of Baron Munchausen”by Rudolf Erich Raspe comes to rescue showing his original and whimsical skills.
A welcome change from the always repetitive ghost manors, broken cars which leave the driver in creepy and gloomy mysterious towns, psychiatric asylum sagas and serial killers with traumatic childhood.
The graphic part is cartoon-like, but accurate and the puzzles are apparently childish but not as easy as one might think.
The voices over mostly the one of the main character are not bad, but maybe not totally suitable, but they are not disturbing, at least for me.
I’d give five stars to the game if it was not so ridiculously short, but I’d love to see other games by the same developers with the same originality.
I recommend this game!

Technically and artistically it’s a very good game.
The artwork is accurate and impressive, the scenes with hidden objects are clear enough and they are not all the same, some are in a brighter light, some in a darker ones.
The map is excellent and very useful to move around, since there are things to find all scattered everywhere.
It’s not the best of these developers, but it’s a worthy one in all cases.
The puzzles are various and neither too easy nor not too difficult, the proportion between hidden objects scenes and puzzles is well balanced.
The only really weak point in my opinion is the story, the plot.
Which is not very original…always the already seen so many times werewolves in a gothic manor and a scared lady with a baby who need to be rescued.
The player plays the role of a contemporary woman who goes to visit her sister who is supposed to christen her baby boy.
But when she arrives (the usual car accident, which stop her in front of the gate of a mysterious manor…how much I’d like the developer could find some new ideas to start a game, rather than presenting us always the broken car in front of the mysterious gate to open…) there is nobody there and she starts roaming about, meeting werewolves and trying to help her sister to escape.
The whole story is not catching, it’s confused and a bit boring and the interest of the game is only in its elegant and rich graphic presentation and in the mechanism of searching element and solving quizzes to go over.
Nevertheless I recommend his game for the sumptuous presentation and for the accuracy of all details and the visual beauty of the scenes.
I recommend this game!

If you are a bit tired of dark manors, werewolves, curses, ghosts and asylums tragedies, you might enjoy the different atmosphere and the humour of this game, which is only apparently easy.
The graphic is a little old-fashioned and not very sophisticated, but it’s clear and pleasant, the characters are unpretentious but have an enjoyable self-irony, the voices are good.
The game is quite long and all seems to be perfect…but there are a couple of flaws, which might seriously disappoint many people
• The quizzes and mini-games cannot be skipped, so you have to remain stuck there until you solve them by yourself
• You have to finish a chapter before leaving the game, because your results are saved only in chapters, so if you didn’t finish completely a chapter, when you start playing again, you have to re-start that chapter from the beginning.
A part from that I recommend the game, which is definitely enjoyable.
I recommend this game!

Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

I confess I was influenced by Big Fish advertising, which describes this game as the best of year 2011.
What a total disappointment!
Even though I paid for the Collector Edition, I decided to uninstall the game from my computer and to forget it.
The graphic is not bad, but neither better not worse than many other games.
The Strategy Guide is very poorly conceived and it doesn’t explain anything, just show pictures of what one is supposed to do.
The idea to fill the game with scenes of morphing objects is boring and disturbing.
The fact that every time one starts the game it’s necessary to see again and again the long and boring introduction is another annoying feature.
I wonder according to what parameters Big Fish has judged it the best game of 2011. I have played infinitely better games than this one in 2011, actually all the games I have bought were better than this one.
The game is not that scaring, as one might expect ( by the way it’s not a complain, I don’t care for scaring games), it’s just often disturbing and of bad taste.
There is nothing I have liked in this game. Too many things I have disliked to mention all.
I don't recommend this game.
