I ended up purchasing bot the CE and regular versions of this game. Both times got stuck at the puzzle where the woman is supposed to push the man out of the boat and keep the money. Apparently, things have to be done a certain way or you can't finish the puzzle. Wish I had looked at the video WT before working the puzzle. Now I can't move forward. Game doesn't allow me to redo or undo any action.

Something very different. Not your usual match-3 game! Includes spooky puzzles and a scene to 'purchase' items for. A nice surprise for those looking to play something fun, casual, and entertaining.

This is a very cute game. I bought it because I loved the puzzles. Very grateful for the guide and hint buttons. Without them I wouldn't have known what to do in many areas. But, after a quick hint, I enjoyed it. In fact, I forgot the storyline cause I was busy concentrating on the puzzles, LOL.

I gave it only 4 stars because of the 'hints' mechanism that drove me crazy and I couldn't turn it off. That being said, this game is very different. It is more of a platform game in that you have to move the screen around to get things done. You learn how to 'train', 'hire', and 'assign' workers to their tasks. The program pretty much tells you what to do, but you have to figure out what the next step it. This is one of the most challenging time management games I've ever played; albeit, I play the relaxed version so that I could enjoy it. I don't know why BFG listed it alphabetically under 'Brave Deeds' in the TM section since it is part of the Rescue Team series.

I've enjoyed the other Clutter games but not this one. Joe's effort to make several items adjustable, it got too confusing. While I like the variety of puzzles, my eyes can't take the movement and variation of pieces within the puzzles. Plenty of sliders and varieties of those, but most, as in other versions of this game, are duplicates, from larger to smaller cuts of the same pic. Maybe I'm just used to the original puzzles and prefer only those. Don't care for the variations on those puzzles. Yet I can understand why some people will find this games challenging. Maybe it's just not for me anymore.

I could only play a few scenes at a time. Never able to complete any HO scene with out at least one hint. Some objects well hidden; others are not what I expected to see. The puzzles are fairly simple and a break from HO. The narrative, basically the detective thinking out loud in journal form. I'm can never 'see it coming', so the ending was a bit of a surprise; albeit a bit of a 'groaner'. It is definitely a different kind of HO game.

Very cute idea. Fairly simple to play; not a whole lot of brain power needed. But hard on the eyes. By end of demo time, I'd only gotten thru level 2; almost done with level 3. So much to see. Games where the player needs to move the screen around to find everything is a challenge. Still hadn't found 2 of the characters before demo ran out. Like it but will wait for non CE game. I've plenty of free games available.

The overall 3 star rating for this game gave me pause. But when I'm intrigued enough to play thru the demo, I am ready for more. I always enjoy the intricacy and variety of puzzles offered by MCF, and this was no exception. Getting thru the 'mirror' section of the game was challenging. Thank goodness for the Map which I used a lot. I'm still not sure exactly what the experiment was supposed to be or do, but I found the interaction between the 'subject' and inventor to be refreshing. Even though the professor appeared kind of ruthless, he did not come across that way. Especially in the Bonus game, he treated the main ghost with gratitude.

I bought this because the title drew my curiosity and enjoyed a previous similar game. Most of the hidden object scenes were way too full of junk to be fun. The story line not as intriguing as I thought it might be. Worst of all was the dialog. The 2 females sounded like they are out of high school. Not very professional at all. Dialog between rest of characters was probably supposed to set up relationship issues, for a touch of reality, but didn't come across that way to me. It was all just plain silly. Half the chatter could have been done away with. The bonus chapter wasn't interesting enough to finish the game.

This is very different. Some of dialog is childish and silly but it can be gotten thru very quickly, and not understanding what is happening means missing half the game/story. The interplay between the characters is unique in that the few confronting situations are nicely handled. In fact, I was quite surprised to see how often characters hugged each other. Although I enjoyed the puzzles, several left me confused enough that I had to skip them which I don't like to do. Even though several levels of play are available, the puzzles still go from easy to difficult. Overall, I look forward to another game of this type.
