I really enjoyed playing this game! The artwork alone is so stunning, I was mesmerized. I loved that this game was based on true events. It made the adventure that much more interesting to me. You can change your level of difficulty anytime during the game, and if you're stuck and click on the hint button, you are shown where you need to be, as well as having the ability to go there by clicking on that hint visual. I did not use the strategy guide once. The whole game including the bonus took about 41/2 hours to complete. The bonus is a continuation of the storyline, and fit perfectly in with the story. My only complaint is that a lot of things were hard to place, and I got frustrated trying to get them on just the right spot. Other then that I thought the game was a joy to play.
I recommend this game!

This review is based on the one hour trial. I liked the whole premise of this game, but I think it could have been so much better with voice overs. A romance story based on two young teens who fall in love at an orphanage, but are eventually separated when the young man joins the Navy. The visuals are good, and the music is lovely. It might be a bit too corny for me, but still a nice story. Not sure if I will buy at this time, as there are other se games I like a bit more. If you are a romantic at heart, and don't mind reading the script, I you will probably love it.
I recommend this game!

This review is based on the one hour demo, which I didn't finish because I was so bored with the storyline. Yes,the graphics are excellent, but that's about all I can say as far as what impressed me. Is it me, or does it seem that we are suddenly being inundated with fairly tales and silliness? Childlike is how I would describe it. I guess it's a personal dislike with me. I am so ready for some serious games with a good adult like feel. If you are into fairytale like games, then you will probably love it.
I don't recommend this game.

Wow! I don't know where to start. I loved everything about this game! Your grandfather has summoned you to a cathedral in Italy, but you are clueless as to why until you do some snooping and find notes from him planted in various places. This game was exciting and intriging. The artwork was excellent, as well as the music which totally fit the game. The music reminded me of the music played in the movie "The Divinci Code. The main game was a good length, and the bonus game fit right in continuing the story. The only thing I felt a bit left down about was at the end, but I won't give that away. I can only speculate that there will be a sequel based on the way it ended. The hint system worked perfectly, and honestly I had to refer to the strategy guide very little. I loved the hos, and they were varied which made them more fun to do. You will get your money's worth with this game.
I recommend this game!

This review is based on the one hour demo. I was a bit hesitant to try this game, as I think that "fairytale games are childish, and seem to me to be based on a last ditch resort kinda mentality, because the developers ran out of ideas. The artwork is absolutely superb! Maybe a little too much so because it distracted me to a fault. I don't mind the fragmented hos, or at least not a few but I don't care to do them throughout the whole game. Not sure if there are any regular hos, but I didn't encounter any during the hour play. The hint system was good, and filled up fast. On a side note, I really hate when all you get from the hint button is,"there is nothing to do here. Geesh, why bother even having one!The game itself seemed challenging enough and I play on casual mode. You can change your level of difficulty at any time during the game. I recommend the game even though I only gave it three stars because I consider my dislike of fairytales a personal preference.

I just completed this game, including the bonus content. I thought it was a cleaver endeaver, with a different twist, because you start out with Romeo and Juliette, and end up with Dorian Grey, although the same players/characters are in both. The graphics are very good, as well as the voice overs. It's a nice long game with a nice lengthy bonus game. The hint system was so good, I barely used the strategy guide. I liked the hidden object twist. You put things back where they belong as opposed to finding items. The only complaint I have is that there was a tremendous amount of back and forth in this game. That is the only reason that I gave it 4 stars. The mini games were challenging but not overly difficult. All in all I recommend this game.

This review is based on the one hour demo. For what I've played of it, the story line is quite intriguing. I played in casual mode per my usual choice, and found the hint button very useful when needed. This game is loaded with one hos after another for those who really love them. Graphics were good, but the diologue is all written which I don't care too much for. Also to compound my slight annoyance with that is the fact that you almost have to be a speed reader to take it all in. This wouldn't be a problem normally if you could retrieve the same diologue, but it isn't always the same. Other then that, the game seems very well put together. Those slight annoyances are what kept me from giving it 5 stars. I may or may not purchase this game. I might wait a bit to see if it goes on sale.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed playing this one, but fair warning, it will give you goose bumps. It is a cold snowy, icy adventure filled game. You are stranded in an icy summit, and must use your innovation to make your way down to an area where you can move on. The graphics are very good, as well as the music which didn't get on my nerves. The hint system is so good, you almost don't need to use the strategy guide. You can switch difficulty levels at any point in the game. The hos are very player friendly and easy to navigate. The mini games are enjoyable but not all that challenging. I thought the game was long enough, and the bonus game was nice as well. Bundle up fishies and give this one a try for some chilly fun and adventure.
I recommend this game!

This review is only based on the trial hour. The first thing I noticed is that the characters mouth/lips didn't move with the diologue. It loses something for me when that happens because I have played other games that were more realistic in terms of facial expressions and lips moving in a realistic fashion. I thought the storyline seemed quite interesting, but the game seems tedious. I don't want to work that hard to play, as it needs to be somewhat relaxing for me to enjoy it. The hint system holds 1 or two hints at a time, and will eventually empty itself completely after you have used so many hints. inotherwords, even though it says one hint, i was able to hit that several times before it emptied completely. There are two modes of play, casual and difficult. I thought the graphics/visuals were just ok and nothing more. I doubt that I will be purchasing this game based on my observations.
I don't recommend this game.

This game definately had the "WOW" factor. I enjoyed playing this game so much, I didn't want it to end. This game had striking visuals, and superb artwork. I truly loved that there were so many areas to explore. Loved the characters and the diologue. The music was perfect for the game and not tedious at all. This game has that kind of Sherlock Holmes feel to it. The mini games were unique and fun to play. I honestly can't say one negative thing about it. The hint system is great and really helped me so much that I used the actual guide very little. For those of you who love a good mystery, I promise you will love this game!
