A fun Solitaire Game. It is easy to start, but it does get harder later in the game. You will have many "helper" cards available for use in meeting the challenges.
As you progress, items get much more expensive. One thing nice about "purchases made" is that you can change the item purchased for a different item, as you go along.

The game with it's puzzles and HOs was challenging. The story of the game was interesting. It is a nice long game.
The "GUIDE" left alot to be desired. It was very confusing, because it did not correspond with the area being played. Several times it specified using an item, that wasn't even found yet; the location of the item was future scenes away.
I found this game to be interesting and creepy; especially in the Dungeon.
This game has some different features to it. Your HINT, SKIP and Main Menu icons are hidden in the upper portion of your screen. To get to them, just place your mouse pointer near the top of the screen.
You can "Skip" HOS scenes. I have never played a game that has allowed me to do that. For those of you that do not like HOS, you can "skip" them. You still get the extra item either way.
Most of the game features are the same as any other game: Inventory pops-up/down when you place your mouse pointer near the bottom of the screen.
You can still go back a screen, by using the arrow near the bottom of the screen....when you place you mouse pointer near the center/bottom of the screen.
You can exit "zoom" areas by clicking on the "X" or clicking outside of the "Zoom" area.
The graphics are very clear and have a nice color. The characters have voices and there is some music.
Richard Stone finds traces of an unknown civilization when investigating disappearance of the chief engineer. The find will lead Richard to the most amazing adventure of his life.
This is NOT a HOS game, It is an Adventure Game, but not an extremely difficult one.
The HINT setup in this game is very good and will aid you through the game, if you need it.
Give this game a try, you might enjoy it. The graphics are very clear. Even through there aren't any voices, the game is still interesting and moves along well.

This is an interesting and challenging game to play
Upon starting the game, you will be asked the Screen size that you want to use. (You can change your screen size any time that you start the game). It only takes a few seconds to make the selection and you are ready to play. One suggestion I have is to be sure to "turn off" the Windowed mode. That way you will just have black surrounding your playing screen.
No the game screen does not completely fill out my Monitor, but once you get involved with the game, you won't even notice the smaller screen.
There is music -- many of the CEs that I have played lately are "silent".
Some of the Puzzle Instructions are not clear -- you have to do trial/error or you can "skip" the puzzle.
This may be called an "Old School" game and not be "State of the Art" (by today's standards), but is is a good game with an interesting story and variety of scenes.
There is a HINT button in the game that will point to things that need to be done within the scene, but it will not tell you where to go next. The HINT also works in the HOP scenes.
No there isn't a Map to indicate places of interest/actions--it is a "figure it out for yourself" type of game.
This is a very good game to play and well worth a free game credit.
