I generally like this type of game and I'm sure many of you will enjoy the challenge. But I only got gold on the first level and failed by the seventh. Maybe I just didn't get it, but I got frustrated and did not continue. My typical experience is that the first levels are easy and the difficulty builds to near impossible by the end - this seemed to start out hard right away. I was not intrigued enough to keep playing levels over to get the gold.
I bought yesterday's game - Moai: Build Your Dream - and I'm going back to that one - very enjoyable and I recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I almost gave up right in the beginning because of the floating curser. That always drives me nuts. But I gave the demo a chance and played for 30 minutes. I found the directions complicated and hard to follow. The print was also extemely tiny. And then I wasn't really having any fun either. It will be interesting to see if anyone has a differing opinion.
I don't recommend this game.

It was a bad start in the first level when it warned me I might "loose" a star #lose#. Anyway ...
This is a time management game where you collect resources and add buildings and workers in order to accomplish a list of tasks, including building a section of the Great Wall of China in each level.
A problem for me is that you can't stage the actions. You always have to wait for the workers to get back to base before you can send them to do something else.
Once is a while, a dragon comes flying over and sets one of your buildings on fire. You can "fight" it by clicking continuously as fast as you can - rather tedious.
The one mini-game I played was lame #the memory game where you turn over two matching cards#.
I played 54 minutes of the one-hour trial and ultimately it was the faster and faster clicking clock that drove me away.
Unfortunately, there was also no humor in the game - it was all quite serious business. If you would like to try a game of this type that is a lot more fun - check out Kingdom Chronicles.
I don't recommend this game.

Although I wasn't entirely thrilled with the graphics at first, I found myself enjoying the game play and found it challenging after the first few levels. I did buy it, because I really like the tower defense type games and haven't seen one in a while.
Basically, it looks like you're set up in a kid's room with paper tanks and airplanes, and cardboard boxes for buildings and hangars. A paper map that shows you where the ground and air enemies will be entering and exiting. You have spots to place your differnent types of towers - some shoot at only ground targets, others only air, and others at both - some more powerful and expensive than others. You get your money from each destroyed target.
Give it a try. Even if you don't buy it, the trial will be a fun diversion for an hour.
I recommend this game!

I can't say I agree with Rebr2009 about how wonderful this game is. I played the full hour and I am not impressed enough to buy it. It's not bad and I'm sure there will be other gamers who love it. I found the movements a bit jerky and the HO scenes were piles of junk. In my opinion, the previous game "Rite of Passage: The Perfect Show" was far superior. I REALLY enjoyed that one. To those of you who love this one - have fun!
I recommend this game!

I bought it and played all afternoon. The story was original and intriguing, the game worked very well and I was captivated throughout. Overall, the HO scenes weren't too hard, but I still couldn't find some of the items - too small or too dark. Minor annoyance well tolerated to play the adventure.

I have just finished the hour demo and am going to buy. I found the animation and narration to be good and the one mini-game I played easy. The HO scenes are interactive and fun. You are tasked with solving the mystery of Silentville by talking with the people you come across. There is a unique hint "jar". I don't really care for the bouncy effect when I'm walking, but that is a minor complaint. Overall, I really enjoyed it, so I hope it is not too short #I haven't checked the length#.
I recommend this game!

All the clicking gets a little tiresome, but once you get the hang of it, it's kinda fun. It's the story that's got me hooked - I'm going to buy it just to find out what happens to this guy. It's the 1920's and he got the money to open his garage from his cousin - who owes money to the mob. After that he just keeps getting in deeper and deeper. It's pretty funny, too. For $2.99, I just have to see what happens to him in the end.
I recommend this game!

I played the full hour demo. It is kind of like Garden Defense - you set up your defense and then watch the attack. You can repair and upgrade your towers during the attack, as well as place bombs, barriers and other power-ups where needed. I fairly enjoyed the game, but will not be buying because everything is so tiny I can barely see what's going on. And then the clouds float by and I really can't see what I'm doing and several times I missed where the "ripples" were that showed which direction the attacks were coming from. If you have good eyes, give it a try and see what you think. It's not a bad strategy game.
I recommend this game!

I didn't find anything new about this game - collect resources, clear obstacles from the road, You need food, stone and other resources to complete buildings. Etc. Etc. I played for 30 minutes and got bored, BUT, if you really enjoy this type of game, then I think you should give it a go.
