Played half of demo and couldn't take it any more. I had hoped this game would be similar to the first one, which I actually played 3 or 4 times, it was so much fun. This game is nothing like the first. Two modes of play, you see car keys and then a map so you can travel elsewhere. Lots and HOS (too many), not even really interactive. There is a scene in which you are supposed to put photos in order of what happened. I think a child would be able to do that one. Definite no for me.

This is based on the demo. There are three levels of play, interactive map; am not sure about collectibles, as didn't see any, but sometimes those are hard to find. Also, I always skip the tutorial. Found the game to be fun, not too challenging and HOS vary regarding type. Did find you have to do something first in order to do what is required to finish a HOS. Don't know if I'd buy this as a CE, but would like to buy the SE, when it comes out.

This is based on the demo, of which I played 1/2. Has two modes of play: normal and hard. Written dialog, no voiceovers. Has an interactive map. Quite a few HOS, some of which were very dark (no click penalty in normal, don't know about hard), HOS were not interactive. Mini games were very easy. In some instances you can go back in time, but didn't see much, if anything, more to do than present time.

This is based on the demo. This game is FUN! Two modes of play, casual and expert. You can skip tutorial. Cartoon characters with written words. You can choose to be a good person or a bad one. You are given things to do and find in order to progress. Not a lot of HOS and what there are appear interesting. No junk piles - a bit interactive. It's a different game than the usual.

Just finished playing half of demo and like it. As someone mentioned, lately there have been way too many (although some good) fairy tale games. This game seems interesting. There are collectibles (which a lot of people find important - although not me, as it takes away from what you are trying to accomplish). Graphics are good, music not too annoying. Hints are different. Didn't see any HOS (though am tired am may have missed them). All around a good game.
I recommend this game!

Paranormal State: Poison Spring
Thrills abound as the ghost-hunters from the hit A&E TV show "Paranormal State" race to solve terrifying Civil War hauntings.
A UFO is rumored to have landed in the small town of Tundel and the mayor is trying to conceal it. Run your own journalistic investigation and learn the truth behind the event!

I know this game has been out for quite awhile; however, just recently came across it. I can't stop playing it. Once you learn the way to move around using the flags to get to a destination, using "contents" which helps you do what hasn't been done, it's great. Annoying, of course is the cop and the "stink" episodes. This game is very unique and I love it!

When I first saw this game as tomorrow's game today, and noticed it mentioned fairy tales (again? I thought). However, it is a terrific, entertaining and fun game! Three modes of difficulty, one of which is "custom"; interactive map, collectibles; lots of things to find in order to progress, with several different categories at the same time. Most likely will buy this one using the weekend deal.

Played about 10 minutes of demo. There is a puzzle where you have to find "fey" creatures (whatever they are) and others. Had one fey creature left to find, but the hint button was absolutely no help.
Definitely a pass for me, although I'm sure fairy tale lovers might like it.

Based on demo. Quite a lot of mini games which appeared to be very easy. At least one collectible. No map. You have a little raccoon helper. Are always equipped with a knife and lighter. Two modes of difficulty. Graphics are very nice. Music somewhat annoying. There are no voice overs, only written dialog. Sort of a fairytale theme, but with more to it than that alone. HOS (only came across one in playing half of demo) are interactive. All in all, I think this is a wonderful game for children.
