Starts out with talking, talking, talking voice and text. You can click through it, but... Then there's scene after scene of HO's. I couldn't take it for more than 8 or 10 minutes.

I don't like to criticize people, but on this game I am - myself! I mistakenly purchased the CE and feel like pulling my hair out. People have mentioned the "annoying" angel (true). Plus, there's the going back and forth, i.e., one time just to place part of a skeleton. WARNING: Do not waste your money on this one. Extremely annoying and frustrating.
I don't recommend this game.

I played 10 minutes of the demo and want this game! Has four levels of play. What I call a cute rabbit, which reminds me of Alice in Wonderland's rabbit. Has achievements and collectibles. Can't quite put my finger on it, but I LOVE this game.
I recommend this game!

I'm probably being repititious, based on other reviewers, but this game is FUN! Very much like a CE, with bonus chapter, achievements, etc. Two modes of play, interactive map, voices and text. Music can get annoying, but it, naturally, can be turned down or off. After the first, I'm buying it, as I don't want to waste a punch. I know most people would love more of this type of game.
I recommend this game!

This is based on the demo. Played all but 15 minutes. Two modes of play: casual and expert. No map. Lots of inventory; in fact, sometimes to find something, you have to use the hint button to find the item! HOS are varied, partially interactive. No voices, only text. Has an interesting storyline (won't bother mentioning it here, as game gives the story). Quite a bit of making recipes, fairly interesting, but sort of easy. There is a part where you have to paint portions of a gate, for which I didn't have the patience. All in all, a good game for girls 8 to 10 or so.

Might be a good game for kids. Way too much dialog, and just not interesting. Three levels of play. I played for about 10 minutes. When you use the hint button, it is no help.
Also somewhat corny regarding the remarks, which I believe are meant to be funny. It's a no for me.
I don't recommend this game.

This review is based on playing one-half of demo. If I like a game, I won't, usually, finish the demo because want to buy it and enjoy! This game has three choices of play; only encountered 1 HOS, which I like. Mostly requires common sense. If you like creepy, strange, mysterious games, you'll enjoy this one. It also has achievements, i.e., finish a mini game in less than a minute; don't skip, etc. The hint button is also very helpful. Most likely will buy this one. Seems to be a lot of fun.
I recommend this game!

I beta tested this awhile ago. It starts out really spooky and goes down hill from there. Lots and lots of HOS, even though some are different, enough is enough. Very dark scenes. Has a child actor, while cute, looks like he wishes he were anywhere else. Hint recharges slowly.
I don't recommend this game.

I am almost through with this game and can't wait for it to end. Way too many HOS, going back and forth and back and forth. Hardly any interaction with characters. As I mentioned, was about to just give up, when in one of the numerous HOS, the last item couldn't be found, even using hint button. Then, the game froze and had to use end task to get out of it. Glad I used a free game code. Advice: Avoid this one (I have a headache from it).
I don't recommend this game.

If you liked City of Fools, you will, most likely, enjoy this game. It's made by the same producers who made that one. In fact, some (if not all) scenes and characters are the same. It has a map, hint button and the usual garbled language as the other game. Fortunately, it didn't have the annoying police man! Only played part of the demo, but will probably use a free game code for this one.
